Great Game

Coded Arms is lots of fun and worth $40. The graphics are great and the gameplay is awsome. The controls take time to get used to. I think d-pad (moving)and analog stick (item switching) are the easiest. Map Generation is cool. If you die the level is totally different. An elevator appeared in a room which didn't have one before. It does repeat a little. For example you have to do the same thing twice somtimes. Music is just terrible. Dont listen to it!It does warn you when an enemy is a room by playing this terrible racket. You get lots of weapons.There are five types phyiscal, light,virus, heat,energy. You can upgrade them to. Enemy are supposed to have weaknesses against some weapons. Never seams that way though.The game does copy Halo in some ways. There is a grenade that sticks to enemys, and soilder with a sheild. Just wanted to inform on that. This is probally one of the first good games coming for the psp.

This is the first game I bought for the PSP It is challenging and multi player is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know why anyone would not like this game. I strongly suggest you buy coded arms the graphics are awesome and the people that say the game stinks have no clue what they are talking about. The game actually is a big challenge and if you don't like the levels afer you beat sector 2 you can go into a level designing mode in sector 3. You can create the levels that you want to play yourself and sector 3 is really hard to beat because the data keeps writing depending on your skill. In other words if you don't choose to design the next level it is created to add terrain that you are vulnerable in depending on the last level. In order to beat sector 3 you have to stop the data from rewriting (which is near impossible to do because you have to beat over 1,000 levels that keep getting harder). Trust me this game is a huge challenge. If you love really challenging games this is the game for you. If not you won't want this game. also there are not any good cheats for the game. But I swear I did not cheat on this game. Buy Coded Arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is a lot of fun and I play it whenever I have a free moment. I get fully immersed in the game, more so than with PS2 games. I think it's due to the headphones. Love the music, the graphics and the way transitions are handled. Excellent job!

This game is really good,if u like FPS games u will like this one. The controls take some time to get used to. The main part of this game is really short u could beat it in a day or two. But there is a mode that u unlock that goes on forever. This game is really hard too, and if u dont like restarting the level over and over again this game isnt for u.

Good game overall, except for the problem of lvls being veeeeeeeeeeery similiar. Weapons can be hard to aquire, and armour is not very useful, but the way you can upgrade guns is genius. I have 3 different fully upgraded guns, and they make you close to invincible, but still fun, not sucking the fun out of it. You will need to check online for ways to beat the boss levels, but overall it is fun.

Wait till it gets cheaper

Ok first off as some other people said it has very akward controls. Second the online multiplayer is terrible no matter how much memory you have. And third is that it just didnt live up to what it was supposed to be. It wasnt an absolute failure but it wasnt great. It has some awesome weapons and the numbers and amimatronic stuff when you enter a level is pretty cool. So unless you absolutely need a shooter on the psp get this but there are some better ones out there. I say wait until the price goes down then the game will be worth every penny.

As I've read in other reviews, the gameplay gets really repetetive really quickly. Graphics are good, but could be better. Controls are hard to get used to, but a little tweeking fixed the problem for me. The music, if thats what you want to call it is extremly boring. All in All I give "Coded Arms a C-, only because it is PSP's only FPS at the moment. Stay away from this one, or if you're really dying for a PSP first person shooter, rent it only.

This game is OK, you're probally better off renting it. The controls might seem complicated at first, but you can change the controls. The levels are pretty much the same. This game gets a bit boring after a while, though. If you like FPS, like me, this is a good game. Konami tried really hard, but didn't make it as succesful.

I have this game and its awesome,the graphics,the shooting the gameplay and all.I will recomend you people to buy this game and when your playing to put the controls like this:moving-Dpad,aiming-control stick,shooting-L and R buttons,jump-X button.I put them like that and its easy.This game has some repetitive areas but I dont care cause I have over 30 weapons to select,you'll never get tired of shooting all those enemies with your weapons because its kinda cool when you let the thrigger on and it continues shooting,although your ammo will end its cool.The giant bugs and the giant computer bot is a bit difficult but its still cool.
