Graphics are great, i'll give it that much. The steering is horrible. At every turn it's like crash into the wall. Too hard to earn money.

This is basically Xbox's version of Gran Turismo. The graphics and even music are very similar to GT3, although a tad better looking on Xbox. I still like Gotham a lot more. For a driving sim fan you have to add this to your library even if you already have Gotham, because these are two different styles of racing/driving sims.
Not a patch on GT3

This was touted as a rival to GT3. I can assure you that this game isn't even in the same league as GT3!
The environment graphics are bland and blocky, with poor color and definition. I would expect much better from the XBOX (have a look at Colm McRea Rally 3 for excellent graphics in a driving game).
The controls are good, and the cars are fun to drive in challange mode.
But in GT mode: Starting off with a Fiat Punto and winning only $4000 a race means you'll have to have a lot of patience before you start actually racing.
Quite a dissapointment.
Good, but not perfect

This is so far one of my favorite games for the xbox. Sega GT 2002 is a great alternative from the Gran Turismo series for those who do not own a Playstation 2. I like the option of listening to your own music while you race. I also like the fact that you have to tend to your cars by consantly changing your brakes, suspension and tires, and fixing up your engine. If you decide not to fix it up you definitely see a decline of performance on the tracks. As you get deeper and deeper into the game you unlock parts that give greater performance. I like the wide variety of cars you can buy, and you can earn in the game. Although there were some minor flaws in the game. The thing that frustrated me the most was the fact that the game is way too short (2 seasons, both having 6 sets of races and then a world champonship). If it was just a few seasons longer, it would have been a lot better. Another thing I thought was a problem was the amount of HP you put in a car. I think it was a little unreal to have a Ford GT-90 with around 1300 HP in it.
Great Game, but.....

When i unwrapped my xbox on christmas day, i actually think i was more excited about the prospect of a gran turismo beater than Halo. However i soon became totally frustrated with Sega Gt and turned to Halo for the next few days.
Eventually I discovered the secret to getting started in Sega Gt. Buy the HOnda S600. It is the worst car in the game, but also means that the only cars the computer races against you are also apalling! It is easy to win quite a few races with this car, and then you are away. (THen i bought Civic typ-r, Lotus Exige and then raced my Ford GT Concept that i won).
So once you are into the game its great, i stormed through the first season winning everything i could, and was excited at the prospect of a more money-spinning second season. This never materialises.
If you win all of the "event races" in the first season it makes it impossible to unlock some parts such as "super racing muffler". This is an interesting idea, but totally stupid. I don't nunderstand the logic behind this, and seeing as the fact was never explained to me till i went to a cheat website i was pretty peeved by this.
The game itself is very good. The graphics are awesome, the handling realistic and the AI entertaining enough so as you don't feel like the oppposition are on train tracks. There is also a real sense of speed in the cars (something that Projecct Gotham really lacks).
However, the stupidity of certain aspects of the storyline really detract from this game's long term appeal.
No Grand Turisimo

It starts off great and has potential, but the fact that their are only two seasons of races and not much challenge at the higher levels really let me down.
If you are looking for the Xbox GT keep looking.
This game is awsome!

sega gt is definately not grand turismo. you know why?, because it is actually better than grand turismo.(1,2,and 3) This game has great graphics with lots of really cool cars and the career mode is great. You can by new parts for you car or you can just buy a new car. You can also sell your cars to save up money for a new one. There are many different kinds of races(event races and offical races) in those races you can win free cars. And if you dont like them then you can sell them for lots of money. Make sure to expierement with how much money you can get out of a car. I reccomend this game if you like realistic racing games. (if you dont have an xbox and are plannning on getting one it comes with this game)
Good Game!

Hey there everybody! i have played some pretty cool racing games before, but this one takes the cake! i love this game! i havea an Elise Exige and a Speedster! OMG! they rule! i love the fact that you can earn money and race the other cars, others say it is difficult, but that is only because they must be bad at the game and understand nothing about it, if you think this games is frustrating and difficult then you are just niave, because i am having the best time with it, i have an ss license! that is like the highest you can get! but i didnt think it hard at all! people just need to learn how to race and customise their cars, in short, other racing games pale in comparison and eat gt's dust
