...what more could you want!

This is a classic and beautiful game - this is for those of you who appreciate games like Rez, Psychonauts, Beyond Good & Evil - or any criminally overlooked games.

Check your bargain bin.

Let me start out by saying I got this game used for $6.99 so even though I wouldn't say its an amazing game, its still not a bad purchase. The graphics were amazing when the game came out, and I'd say they still hold up, although the clean Ninja Gaiden style graphics do have trouble keeping up with some of the texture focused games around today. The action is pretty different from what most would be used to. I liked it at first but it got pretty old pretty fast. The game gets pretty hard, making it very frustrating at times. The music was fine, nothing super memorable. The story line is the same case as the music, fine, but nothing spectacular. To tell you the truth I was really looking forward to this game because of all the great reviews and opinions focused around it, but it kind of let me down. If you like dragons I'd say there's no harm in giving this game a try.

Yes, the game has great graphics, but its way to short and the game plays itself. There is no game play. It wont be a classic and if you like game play, dont buy this game. If you like to watch graphics and stare, as it plays it self, Buy it. I beat this game in 6 hours.

The spoken language in PDO(Panzer Dragoon Orta)is not

English, of course, nor Japanese. The language is what SEGA

call 'Panzer world language'. This is what they created

only for PD game series to make these world feel like really

exist. So, even in Japanese edition, there is subtitles.

They didn't create whole languge vocabulary, it

sounds like unique language. Pesonally, I think it is

modified mixture of German, Greek, Latin.

Even though this game is hard as ****, It'll keep you entertained for hours. I got this game back in February--and still, I'm only on level 3.

One of the best features is the different morphs that your dragoon can change into--these are very helpful during the boss scenes.

The graffics are, of course, awesome--in the cgi movies as well as the gameplay itself.

If you are looking for ONE xbox game, this is it.

THIS GAME IS STUPID ITS SO INCREDBALY BORING I PLAYED IT FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES THAN I COULDNT STAND HOW STUPID IT WAS. ONE OF BIGGEST DISSPOINTMENTS OF THE YEAR.MAYBE RENT BUT DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT BY BUYING IT.NO WONDER THIS GAME IS BAD ITS ON XBOX

I got the game based on the glowing reviews here and at GameSpot. I can't believe these reviews were for the game I played. I was sorely disappointed. I really wasn't that impressed with the graphics, and the story is just weird. But the key point is, this game just isn't fun.

If I could return it, I would.

WHOA THIS GAME ROCKS WITH GREAT CUT SCENES. HEY IF I WERE THE MAKERS I WOULD MAKE ANOTHER SEQUEL. THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT IT IS THAT IT IS SHORT!!!

Such a let down..

When I heard Sega was making games for the XBox I was thrilled, however, this installment of Panzer Dragoon is sub par.

Very short. Incredibly short. It's only 10 levels. Pathetic. The controls were pretty easy to master. The switching dragons was a nice way to make things more difficult. And the backgrounds were stupendous. Very well done.

However, the difficulty is incredible. I can't get past level 3 on Normal. Ok, maybe I ..., but it's still far to difficult. Enemies all around you, and you barely heal after a level.

However, on the plus side. If you beat the game you get the entire Panzer Dragoon game. Very nice easter egg.

There's also a sub mission involving a boy in the empire, but boy does it .... You have to hover the chair he's in and its too damn shaky to steer, since you're on a rail (never stop moving) you crash into walls and die. And have to read this stupid thing about how he gets kicked out of the empire

Boy do I not care. I wish game companys would make EVERY SINGLE CUTSCENE SKIPPABLE. IM NOT WATCHING A MOVIE.

What's with the voices too? At first I thought they were in Japanese, but they're just random words. I'm not in for reading subtitles; never do that again Sega.

This game does have great graphics. It is fun to fly around in the path it gives you and shoot things, but it gets boring. And the game is WAY too hard. The bosses dont die, you have to shoot them millions and billioms of times to get them to die. Big dissapointment. But it was still good. Good story and as i said great graphics. Also way way way too short man. If it wasnt so hard you could beat it in and hour.
