What a bummer, Manhunt falling into the grasps of the evil x-box and its 2 game limit. Its pathetic, but I must admit at least now x-box has one good game on their console.

(...)
Besides all that, the game doesn't perform well on the x-box whatsoever. The controls are hard and glitchy, and the pixels are too underdone. The most critical thing is that the controls were under-looked which makes the game just as sad as the xbox. The game is great and receives a 5 but instead of playing it on the xbox just throw the game in the toilet. It's a lot more disrespectful and definitely more entertaining.

I wanted to LOVE it....

This is truly one of those games where looks can be deceiving. It is quite violent, but the violence is always a cut scene. There are 3 levels of stealth kills. Each levels kill for a single weapon is always teh same, so it gets a bit repetitive. The only things i HATED were that it's ALL stealth and if you actually have to engage in melee combat with an enemy it takes them forever to go down. Truly an inspiring game though..I am thinkign about renting it again to see if i can get further and enjoy it more.

Great, unique game

Wow, looking at this game from a distance you would be sure what to think. But once you get close and play it you quickly realize that there is some fun gameplay to be had here.

My favoutrite item in this game is the use of the Live headset. If you don't got one while playing this game you are missing out on alot of the fun. The character in the game wears an earpiece in which the director gives him direction. Normally these put up on the screen as plain text, however put on your headset and you hear the director tell you what to do.

Also any noise you make is sent through the headset into the game. This brings you directly into the game, imagine that you are hiding from an enemy in the shadows, not only do you have to make sure your character is hid well but you have to remain quiet as well in real life as any loud sounds will alert the enemy to your posistion. Or use the opposite, use your own voice to draw an enemy closer while you wait in the shadows to execute him.

And this game means execute, once you sneak up behind someone and charge your kill into the red zone, sit back and watch the blood fly.

DISTURBING + CREEPY= AWESOME 8 OUT OF 10

Manhunt is without a doubt one of the most disturbing games ever made, and judging by the scores given to its sequel, it still retains that throne. You spend a lot of your time killing enemies without being detected, and if you are detected you're in deep s***. The game has an incredibly creepy environment to do your hellish deeds and eliminate the enemy. The game can get incredibly difficult, especially when you're trying to fight more than one enemy which will in many cases cost you your life. You can lead enemies into traps by making noise by banging your weapon against a wall. Then, when the enemy comes and doesn't see you and walks away you can kill him in macabre ways(via suffocation with plastic bags or stab him with a piece of glass, which is made more brutal when you hold down the attack button). You will only be terrified throughout this game because you don't know what will come for you next and how will it try and kill you. The game has problems though. The camera is a bit squirrelly, especially when looking around, and controls are a bit of a chore at times. But if you enjoy getting the s*** scared at you by all means pick up this game immediately.
