QUIT CLOGING UP THE REVIEWS WITH YOUR LIFE STORY AND DAILY SITUATIONS. NOBODY CARES WHEN YOU CAN GET BACK ONLINE TO WRITE BLAND MAINSTREAM 5 STAR REVIEWS!!! This game is alright i guess if your enamored with the gore/profanity enough to pay no attention to the controller limitations. I thought it could have been so much more than just a stealth horror mission. Get's old and stupid for me but not as stupid as CHARLIE V1 WHO ALWAYS WRITES IN CAPS.

Manhunt for the Xbox is a stealth -type game where you have to sneak around, hide in shadows and avoid making noise. If you've ever played games like Splinter Cell or Tenchu, then you know what I'm talking about. The twist in Manhunt is that you are playing as a villian. You are playing a game of death with a bunch of psychos and killers. Within the game, you'll hear the voice of a sinister director who tells you what your objective is to complete a level. Most of the levels look like abandoned cities. Scattered around are killers who want to hunt you down. So you sneak up on them and the longer you remain undetected the more gruesome your executions becomes. You'll see the executions in a type of video sequences. The game is terribly violent and bloody it looks a lot like a slasher movie (think Friday the 13th). And this is why the game has a lot of controversy. It is senseless violence and has absolutely no redeeming value!

this game is crazy sick! i recently bought it and as soon as i get home from work i have to play it! this game is addiciting and the story lines are awesome! the best way to play this game is with the lights shut off and the volume turned up high! this game will scare the f^^& out of you at times, and the graphics are awesome, and the sound effects are like Whoa! u gotta get it!

THis game is one of the most grisly games i ever played. it is an great game an i love the little movies of when you kil your enemies. Like bashing a guys face off with an bat. It is just great. You can also take fiber wirer and use an execution by strapping it around the guys throat and scraping at his neck till his head falls off. it is just an awesome game. I cant wait for manhunt 2!!!!!!!!!!!

You will come out of this game shaking and dripping w/ gore.

I bought this game off of eBay after beating Splinter Cell:PT and deciding that I needed more stealth and had heard that Manhunt was a cool game. So I bought it and the first time that I played it I was a little shocked. But, as they say, you get desensitized. First let me tell you about the gameplay. Since the game's main plot is killing for sport, there are plenty of weapons and techniques to help you along the way. Some weapons are: wire (can use to cut off head and make a lure), plastic bag (suffocate them to death, then break neck), machete (cut off head in three meaty hits), crowbar (break back then stab the brain), shotgun (blow off the head), baseball bat (break their neck then beat off their head, with chunks of brain matter splattering all over the place), and on and on and on.. you get the point. That was only a few of the weapons. And how you excecute someone is you sneak up behind them, hold X or A for about five seconds, then let go and watch the blood spurt on the camera. Definitely not for the weak of stomach.

The sound is very good, and if you've got surround you can hear where the hunters are. Very useful. Also the kills make very wet sounds, more so than needed.

The graphics are very good. Not as good as Ninja Gaiden, but they are better than most.

Control is very easy and the first couple of levels will tell you how to use it.

And lastly, content matter. I would definitely not get this game for anyone under 15, as there is extremely graphic, horrible bloody violence and gore and also the swearing is exremely abundant and also it is the cruder words that are said more often. You can however turn the sound effects off. Also don't get this for anyone who is can't tell games from real life or anyone who is naturally angry. There was a case in UK about someone killing a guy with a clawhammer (found in the game) and cops found a copy of Manhunt in his room. If you don't control yourself, this game WILL change you and make you more angry and violent. although well done, there aren't many people i can recommend this game to due to the content matter.

Gore, Horror, please give me more!

Graphically, it could be better, but I gave it top ratings for the bloodshed. It is right up there with the suffering, carmageddon 2, mortal kombat, and Postal 2. One of the most violent games you will play! You are being hunted, its either you or them! That's the story line. PLEASE HELP SUPPORT VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES BY PURCHASING THIS NOW!! I hope this offends every religions and conservative nimrod on the planet...HAHA! (...)

I like the control scheme of this stealth game, wish more stealth games had it. One of the most violent video games that I have ever played, very dark. I kind of like how it is intentionally done as a snuff film, hence the graphics, has a style of its own. The only other game that I have been able to bestow sleeper status is deathrow. I have to mention that title because I hope ubisoft makes another one!

Better than San Andreas!!!

The main complaint about San Andreas is it's repetitive. I say if you want a great game, get one that only repeats the best points! This game is repetitive, but it's all about killing and gore. SA gets too wrapped up in its uninteresting story. Manhunt has a great, gritty story. It doesn't interfere with the actual time playing the game though, as the cutscenes are short. San Andreas had long cutscenes, which isn't always a bad thing, but they were boring. San andreas is too much of a comedy, as was vice city. Manhunt is more ruthless than GTA3. GTA3 was almost as gritty, but not quite. I think the Warriors(coming to ps2 and xbox) is going to be great, also. I wish they would make GTA Carcer City!!!

Whoa! i wasnt expecting a game like this, IT BLEW ME AWAY! first off, id like to say, if your disturbed easily DO NOT play this game! you will be sick, and run for the bathroom in mere seconds! second off, id like to say that if you like really gory intense game that has buckets of blood, weapons, and massive swear use, YOULL LOVE THIS GAME! the plot is that youre james earl ca$h, and mass murderers are hunting you for sport (or for fun) and you must kill them before they kill you. sick huh? oh ya! but the main point is that this game is action, but its also puzzle, sneak up on them before they sneak up on you with knifes, butcher knifes, ice pix, and/or guns, ETC. you are being guided to the person that did this to you...and butcher him... ya i know it sounds creepy, BUT ITS REALLY FUN! a definite 5

By far one of the most strange, perverse, and blissfully violent games ever to grace the Xbox. While we collectively pray for a sequel we can spend our time finding ways to sneak up behind masked criminals and see that they get the justice that the courts failed to provide.
