This game isn't as great as some people say it is. If you played Vice City, It hasn't become some whole new game. Most new features haven't even truly changed, Its something after many hours you even notice needs to be done (working out, eating) Never the less, not required to complete the game.
It is a fun game though, so dont feel too discouraged if you want to play it. You will definetly enjoy it and there is even a bit of a challenge on several of the missions. I admit, I'm still terrible at flying planes in this game.
Many people feel this is a terrible game for children. And it is - but theres nothing this game shows that you cant easilly get off television and especially on the internet. Your child isnt going to become some gang member from this game. Infact, One of the strongest underlying themes in this game is drugs are bad, your family is always there for you, and if you live a life of poverty and crime, you can get out of it. But because these are taught with foul language and mature themes. Guess what its written on the box. rated MA for mature. If you dont like the idea of your child killing people, then your stuck with dancing games and sponge bob. Its a great game, and its not worth letting it just pass by.

I think this is the game of the year. You can do pretty much anything. You can customize anything and do anything. If you loved the old GTA games buy this one. You will love it!

Hot Coffee is good. Everyone should have it every morning.

It's a shame when you can do drive-by's, robberies, and stomp innocent people into the ground, but parents let their under-age kids play this, then complain when they have innocent sex in it. Sex is constructive, violence is destructive. I'm so pissed off that as a grown man I can't play games the way they were supposed to be intended for me.

I've always wondered why they held back in "M" rated games. It's because they WANT kids to buy them. That's the truly sad part.

Wow. This is easily one of the best games Ive ever played. There is so much to do and see its staggering. Every little thing you think you should be able to do you can. Ever see a tv in a game and wish you could play a video game on it? You can in San Andreas. This is the most complex game ever made. The actual gunplay could have been better but is way better then previous GTA games. The graphics kinda suck but who plays GTA for the graphics? I dont. All in all, this is a must have if you like action/racing games.

Presintation-10-The State of San Andreas is presented flawlessly. There are so many little things you can do its incredible.

Graphics-7-They suck. But who cares? The draw distance is impressive and theres tons of stuff onscreen at once. Animation is good too.

Sound 9.5- Gun sounds are weak but thaty the only trife I have with it. Some truly hilarious radio stations.

Gameplay-9.5- A HUGE open world to discover, lots of little stuff to do, fun shooting, great driving. Really great.

Replay-9.5-You will want to play through it many times and it will feel fresh because of how big the game is.

Overall-9.7

BEST!!!

Best damn game EVER MADE! Period. This game KILLS any other game out right now. Matter fact, its the best GTA game out of the series. It shocks me to see that they banned this game cause of a "little" scene. Man people are ignorant. If they dont like it! DONT WATCH IT! DONT PLAY IT! Ignorant azzes. Grow up!

But this game is definately hott, if you dont have it yet, hurry up and get THIS copy not the new thats coming out soon. This is the better one. There gonna have to take out all kinds of stuff so your gonna want this one. The missions are MAD fun, and the game MAKES you want to keep playing thats why I love the game. The story line kicks madd azz. One thing leads to another in this game!!

This game will never get boring, its just fun!!! Everything is. Dont listen to them sissy azz ppl saying this game is bad!! OMG he shot a cop! Who cares?! Its a damn gamn!!!!

Forget them, cop this!!!

Peace!!

This game comes as something of a disappointment. The improved camera system is a welcome upgrade, but the graphics are a marginal improvement over GTA 3 and VC if at all. Everything looks kinda grainy. Also, drive-by shootings on the XBox controller are a pain in the butt to perform. Aside from that, while I found the missions in Vice City much easier than those in GTA 3, the missions in San Andreas are easier still. For such a big place, you burn through the main story missions awfully quick. There were only a couple of missions that I didn't pass the first time I tried. Part of the problem is the LA gangsta setting, which is unappealing to me compared to the excitement of living out a season of Miami Vice (Vice City) or a Martin Scorsese movie (GTA 3). I also don't care for the amount of dirty language in this game, it's excessive and irrelevant to the story and it gets old mighty fast. I just wasn't feeling the connection to the characters or the game. The ultimate test is this: I still play GTA 3 and VC once in a while and would never trade them, but I already sold my San Andreas (without finishing it) and don't really regret it.

They still have the nerve to charge $50???

Look, San Andreas is a great game, no question. If you get any GTA game, get this one - it's truly HUGE and it truly has it all - "it" being your basic carjackings, your hood tagging, your drive-bys, your pimping, your stealth B&E missions, basically every form of sociopathy known to man - in its best incarnation yet.

The problem is that RockStar is still trying to wring $50 out of this re-release on a dying platform, this late in the game. I mean, are you serious. I have this title on PS2, and I WOULD get it for XBox too just cuz I know the graphics probably knock it out of the park - but come on. Wasn't even the GTA3/Vice City double pack like $30 when it first came out?

So, screw it. I'll stick with my low-res, high-loading-time, feature-poor PS2 version till they come out with their next-gen installment.

BTW - the people who vote this review "unhelpful" are RETARDS - just so you all know. I said I like the game! I just don't think they should keep it at this price point. So unless you actually think overpriced games are great, you shouldn't be voting me down. ;) lol

Best Game on Xbox

Okay, I'm not really a kid, but I didn't feel like filling out all the forms.
Hands down, this is the best game on Xbox, and worth every penny. Even the voice acting is great with big names like Samuel L. Jackson, James Woods, Charlie Murphy, and The Game. But where this game really stands out and makes it different then the othertwo is the sheer size and scope of the game. I've played it for eight hours and have not even gotten out of the first city.
Another cool new addition is that co-op is now possible if you have a friend over.
The only thing that I disliked about the game was that for some reason, they decided to change all the camera angles and it's harder to drive with the ones that they put in. All in all however, if you own an Xbox, you should own GTA:San Andreas
