This game may as well salvage my liking for the X-Box. Beautifull graphics, smooth gameplay, lavish worlds, and classic hack n slash with fully adjustable camera views, come together to bring you a Baldur's Gate on steroids. Well worth it for any RPG fan. The only downside is, it's not long enough to satisfy my addiction.
SWEET

One thing I like about the Xbox is games that are multiplayer.
For this game, I really like the multiplayer co-op where up to four people can play as one group, coordinate with each other to defeat the bad guys, and play through the whole game together.
This game has more character development (in terms of stats and skills) than Gauntlet and is better graphically than the first Baldur's Gate. I like the addition of random monsters in the level so you can go back and still fight stuff. This is an excellent game.
FUN!!

i dont play d and d with books but like this game allot, its much better than guantlet!! You can be 4 diffrent heros and their all diffrent from each other and have spells that kick but and can destroy tons of diffrent monstres as long as you have enough will power. i'm in the bone necrplois now and my dwarf is like gimley from the loard of the rings, very tough but can cast spells too. my brother uses the fighter becase hes easier which is good because he is only almost nine. this game rulez!!!

Did you enjoy Diablo, Dungeon Seige, Dark Alliance, Icewind Dale or Gauntlet?...Well, this game tops them all!!
After three days solo, I can hardly wait for some multiplayer time. There are many types of items, weapons and armor in the game(many inflict or protect you from different types of damage like Ice, fire, poison and magic). You can save your progress almost anywhere/anytime you want. Occasional rings and potions with attribute boosts keep you searching for secret areas.
Better than Gaunlet!!

This is very similar to gauntlet legends. For example, you use keys to open chests, blow open barrals and boxes to get supplies, and use levers to open doors. The graphics are very nice especially the fire. You get to control the camera using your right joystick which can be a pain becuase when you start fighting you might not have time to change your camera angle. This game is very addicting but you might want to rent it first to see if you like the camera.
good, but limited

I finished this game in three days... so there is not a lot to it. It is a real hack and slash type game, not a lot of character development in this one... it's the kind of game where your thumb gets sore. The view of your character would sometimes get obscured by walls, trees, you name-it, so that could be a bit annoying. The graphics are good, the sound is great, the effects are cool. You have an "ancestoral weapon", so you are not really encouraged to try others. I only did the one player game, so maybe the Xbox live aspect might make it a better game.

Nicely done. Great graphics and play is smooth... A little confusing at first with all the different button configurations but once you learn them all it becomes easier.
Interesting cheat loophole on doubling your money though... All the players gives their items and gold to one character. That character saves and hands the items and gold to another character then leaves the game. Then you reload the game at save point. You just doubled your loot.
Cross between Gauntlet and Baldur's Gate

This is a fun hack and slash RPG in the style of Gauntlet and Baldur's Gate. I thought the controls were well thought out, giving you lots of flexibility over what functions you assign to what buttons. Unlike the other games, you can zoom way in and out, although with multiple players you are almost always zoomed out. Like Baldur's Gate, you manage many types of items, gain spells/powers/etc, which makes it more involved than Gauntlet. The graphics are nice, and and there's a good variety of enemies.
I think the main drawback to this game is that it's too easy. By the end of the game, your character is *really* powerful and you have tons of money with nothing to spend it on. The bosses were all pretty easy to defeat. Baldur's Gate is much more difficult and its storyline is a bit more involved.
