This games graphics suck, and the multiplayer and single player suck. everything sucks about this game including that you can't do anything cool, which sucks. I also think that the game sucks because of the fact that it sucks and also my little brother is better at it than I am. Also, another thing that sucks, is that my little sister killed me in the multiplayer mode. I mean, really, she's only two! One more thing, the lightsaber just plain sucks. I don't know what all you people are talking about. Is it supposed to do anything cool or anything? It doesn't. It sucks.
not worthy

Man, I rented this thinking I could use a saber throughout the whole game but noooo... u have to use guns through most of the game I would have to say that the light saber part was cool but it wasn't enough saber for me.

Levels and Graphics
Well for the Xbox i'v heard it's pretty good but for the gamecube it's the worst. I'v seen some of the greatest star wars games ever but Lucasarts didn't try real hard on the gamecube. Their faces look blurry and it probably doesn't have nearly as many weapons lightsaber moves, and force powers as the Xbox has. It doesn't have anything near the graphics they could have made it have.
Voices and shound
I have to say that their voices are very good and sound like the actual people in the movie. Their sound is great but playing the game is horrible and it stinks.
Levels
Well as Kyle Katarn you go through i'm gonna say maybe a little over twenty levels plus a bonus level of boring combat. I mean it's too repetive. Before you have your lightsaber you shoot guys hit a switch shoot guys shoot more guys move around a bit and so on and so on. WHen your shooting a guy you really just stand in front of him and shoot theres no moving around except for when they run but then you can just shoot them in the back. WHen your fighting with a lightsaber you don't have any moves like in the movies or anything. GET THIS GAME ANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't like first person games don't even bother.

I recently borrowed this game from a friend. While I don't like first person games I'd heard that a little ways in it became mainly third person and had some awesome battles. I thought "Okay I'll suffer the first few levels and then be treated to some great action.". Well I was wrong, I was tortured the first few levels and then only somewhat amused when the switch happened. I hardly even play 1st person games and can tell a good one from a bad one and this is bad. Also the controls in both perspectives use the control stick and the D-pad heavely. How on earth can I use both at the same time!!! This ones for Star Wars fans and FPS lovers only. Despite some cool battles in 3rd person it just wasn't that fun.
Looks pretty good

This game looks like it will be a worthy counter-part to the one for PC. You will have a large array of weapons, items, levels, & characters. The reason why I'm giving it only 3 stars is because one of the best features of the PC version is the ability to play multiplayer via the internet with other gamers such as yourself. Overall though, it looks good!

I have a split opinion on this game. On one hand it has an awesome two-player action but, on the other hand the one-player style is to confusing and needs a little tuning up.
ok game

This game was an Ok game.Without codes I would say it would be way to hard. Its a fun game at first but you often cant find your way around the levels.Thay expect a little to much.I love to use my lightsavor on games like that but in this game you dont get it till your at the impossibul to get to 7 level. And you have to go through a bunch of mind boggeling task just to get it.But on 2 players this is a pritty fun game.
The Force is definitely with this game...

I think that LucasArts did a fine job transferring JKII over to the Gamecube. The graphics are great, allowing detailed close ups. The cutscenes are just as good as the PC version. They even changed the levels around a little(not much, though). The fighting sequences are fast and dazzling, and without the jearkiness of the computer you can really enjoy them. And the multiplayer options are THE BEST multiplayer options I have ever seen! You don't even need a second human player! Cool!
The only downside is that LucasArts had a hard time transferring the controls over from the keyboard to the Gamecube controller. It took me a long time to get used to them, and I'm still having trouble. But the lightsaber makes up for it!
If you already have the computer version of the game don't buy it for the Gamecube, but if you don't, then go for it! I love Star Wars, and this game doesn't let its good name down!
This game will make you yell out im a jedi !!!!!!

I've played the pc version . It has every thing you've ever wanted in a star wars game, all the force powers and a light saber. The controls for the gamecube version is pretty easy after a while . R is to shoot and use the light saber , L is to use force powers, B is to open doors, A is to jump Left analog is to go up down side to side , and The right one is to turn around . Y and X I think y is to take out light saber , X is to crouch. d pad is to change weapons and forces. To downsides though no dismemberments and online play, but it has alot of reply. so it should be great.
Good, but not great...

In my opinion, with the exception of Rogue Leader, this is the best Star Wars game yet. However, that isn't necessarily saying much considering the fact that Star Wars video games are almost always really bad. Regardless though, this is a pretty solid title for both fans of Star Wars and non-fans alike.
My review is basically for the single player part of this game, because if you were really interested buying this game for it's multiplayer options, you'd get it on PC or possibly X-box. However, there is still a multiplayer element in the game that is entertaining as well as helpful, especially if you want to hone your Jedi skills.
Again, Jedi Outcast is a really solid game. You start off in your basic FPS scheme which is pretty easy to pick up. Everything controls well enough. Although not great, the graphics are above average I'd say. The music is flat out great, basically the score from the OT (Original Trilogy). Once you regain your Jedi skills, the game kicks up to a whole new level. I've never seen a more realized version of lightsaber fighting. In previous Star Wars games involving lightsabers, it was button mashing, and there was not contact between lightsabers. In this, the lightsabers clash and the sparks start to fly. The tiny nuances that go into the lightsaber fighting are truly amazing. I, for one, am glad that you have to *earn* the lightsaber (although you actually get it once you are about 15% through the game; it doesn't take long like others have mentioned.) The story is pretty good also and sets up the levels well.
On the downside, there are a few flaws in the game. For one,the cutscenes are horrible; poorly drawn and poorly animated. The collisions fields are weird at times as well. Another gripe are the controls when in 3rd person, it's sometimes hard getting the analog lightsaber to do what you want. I don't know if this the fault of the game or having to use a controller, though. Lastly, some of the levels are bogus. For the most part, they are excellent, but then the developers seemed to have over-extended themselves and created some ... gameplay that is just frustrating. The stealth level, the anti-gravity, and the escorting the droid are all poorly done and detract from the game.
All in all, I think this is a good purchase. It is somewhat hard, but personally I like that. I'd rather have a game that last then pay $.. for 8 hours of gameplay. This game has its flaws, but like I said, it still is quite possibly the best Star Wars game ever, it captuers the essence of Star Wars perfectly. If you are a fan of Star Wars, this is a no-brainer.
