The characters of the Simpson's television show drive people around town in order that they aren't subjected to Mr. Burns transportation. I bought crazy taxi for my 10 year old and the music and language was too much. This version is lots more fun because there is a plot and the music is pleasant. Anything you have heard on the Simpsons show you can expect here. Remember the episode when Marge was driving the Canyonero? Well, you can play that out here. The mood is upbeat and can be played for money or simply for the fun of it, you choose. Well worth the $
Beats the living daylights out of Crazy Taxi.

Uh...Crazy Taxi? More like Lazy Taxi! Hahaha. Okay, that wasn't funny, but the game certainly is. Real character voices for everyone and the kind of thing you'd expect from the Simpsons. Some hings are just like the show. It's the kind of game that takes some time to beat, but lasts forever with a great two-player mode. And you've gotta love the other features, such as Sunday drive (playing for fun, not for points), and quick missions. Unquestionably the funniest video game ever.
Good game, Low price

I got this game for 30$ and it's been very fun. It's a pretty good party game, but can only fit two players. The graphics are mediocre but the gameplay is great. All in all it's a great buy

I love this game! It is so addictive and you can't get tired of it. I know I am probably the only gamer in America who has NEVER played Crazy Taxi, but I always hear people compraing The Simpsons Road Raget to it. I almost bought Crazy Taxi when it did come out for GameCube, but then I heard about this game. I am the biggest Simpsons fan in the world and when I heard people saying it was Crazy Taxi with a Simpsons twist, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. I am just absolutly addicted to this game. Huge environments, tons of Springfieldian drivers (not to mention the special ones that only appear for a holiday), and real Simpsons voices. Simply an awsome game. I guess I sould try Crazi Taxy some day. Some day...
In the words of C. Mongomery Burns, this game's "Hi-Larious"

While this game can get monotonous after a while, The Simpsons Road Rage will keep you entertained everytime you play it. Since the object is to amass $1,000,000 in cab fares in order to buy back the Springfield Transit System from Mr. Burns, you are forced to play it over and over. Each time you surpass a specific dollar amount (e.g., $100,000, $150,000, etc.), you unlock a different vehicle or location, and the beauty is that you get to choose which one! The characters and their dialogue will become repetitive after a while, but if you don't play everyday, they'll seem a little fresher. I play once every couple of days and only play a few rounds, but each time I'm building toward that $1 million mark. Another fun aspect is the "Sunday Drive" option in which you can leisurely drive throughout the location looking for shortcuts and other tricks to beating your scores. Defintitely worth the money!

A lot of reviews have been given concerning this game. It seems people either love it or hate it. Personally, I love it. But I'm a casual gamer.
Those who like to buy a game and play it for hours and hours and hours will find it horribly irritating and repetitive. If you are one of these people, just rent it. Otherwise it will drive you nuts. Or, better yet, go re-acquaint yourself with the outside world.
For the rest of us, it is an entertaining game, especially for two players. As a player progresses, he or she unlocks more and more characters to use in the search to gain enough money to buy the town's buses back. If you only play for a half hour to an hour a day, it will take quite a while to unlock all the players and win the game. After you win, it's great fun to revisit all the locales and characters.
But, if you get a new game and never turn it off until you've won, this isn't the game for you.
OK, but boring

Im a big Simpsons fan, and for the first two hours or so of gameplay the things people said were funny, but it gets really repetative. The cars don't change that much, and there are only five levels, so after a little bit it just gets boring. All you do is drive people around. If you arent a simpsons fan i dont see how this would be an interesting game at all. I might get it, but wait till the price drops... alot
way too much fun
