I thought Medal of Honor Rising Sun was a fun game. Although I didn't like the fact that at the end of the game you don't get to go save your brother who was captured by the Japanese. You get a pretty good variety of weapons, although you only get to use two Japanese weapons, with I would like to know more about. The B.A.R. is a good weapon, though you only get to use it in one level, and you don't really nedd it in that level. It would come in handy in other levels though.
The multiplayer is fun. You can play online or just with a friend. You can fight in a deathmatch or a team deathmatch.
Awful

I love all kind of stuff related to war: Series, Movies, Games. But I have to say this game is disappointing. I mean, it has great graphics and the sound effects are great, the controls are mostly easy and it can entertain you. But not for long...
The game has only 9 levels, they are very limited, you don't have all the free-will of moving around as you probably wish even that some levels are pretty big. You only have one path to go and that's it (with the only exception of the ship level).
The last level is very hard, especially the machine guns on the hills.
It has a bunch of weapons, but not enough in my opinion.
Once I find a supposedly secret on the ship level in some lockers and it said it was something like a "god-mode" but I never managed to make that work, I have no idea what they did to that.
The game also is about 4 or 5 hours long... I bought it one day, the other day I beat it and the next week I exchange it for another game.
If I was you I would not buy this game, instead I'll give a try to Call of Duty or something else because this sucks.

Ok, so I'm a Medal of Honor FREAK. I have been playing them for years, and I've been COMPLETELY satisfied and MORE for years. That has not changed with this game. I have been playing this game for about a week now, and so far it has packed all the adrenaline, emotion, gameplay, and graphics of the other MOH games.
A must play.
Great game

The game tells a great story. You feel just like you are a soldier in World War II. The game takes place in Asia : Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines, and also in Pearl Harbor. You walk around and try to find enemy plans for invasions. You send information you have learned back to base. As you look for information you are shot at by the enemy particularly the Japanese. You fight back with machine guns, pistols and poison dart guns. It is really realistic and exciting. It rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty disappointing but kind of fun

This game is seriously flawed. I think some o the reviewers that wrote such great reviews may be inexperienced with shooters. I'm a gun enthusiast and was very disappointed at the lack of the M-1 Carbine. I held one of these guns at the gun shop and really liked it. It was so small, light, handy, and common, I can't believe the makers would overlook this nice little rifle. The gun is actually shown in the hands of a Marine in a picture on a loading screen. The graphics really aren't that great, but I do like how they did the Garand and 1903 Springfield. The game is pretty unrealistic and beating levels can be puzzling, you just wander around sometimes not knowing exactly what to do or how to do it. Sometimes it seems like right when you command a mounted machine gun, it causes enemies to swarm at you that just come from nowhere. The game just doesn't flow right at times and there are pop ups; you advance a certain distance and all of a sudden an enemy, a bridge, or whatever is there where there was clearly nothing. In one level, right when you drop caltrops for an enemy car, the suddenly appears and crashes for you. In another level, right when you command the crane and drop the load on the tracks for train your supposed to crash, the train appears from nowhere and crashes. Sometimes you can have the cross hairs right on someones head and it's registered as an extremity hit or a complete miss. If you're not in the right place, the game won't let your hits count. I hate some of the weapons lack of stopping power, you can shoot guys a bunch of times and practically nothing happens. The guys with the swords are the worst: he can be right in front of you, you should clearly be hitting them with the rounds you're spraying from your gun but nothing happens except you getting severely damaged by the sword. That doesn's always happen, thankfully. Full power rifle rounds coming from a machine gun should have the same power as coming from a 1903 or Garand. It seems the faster the gun shoots, the less powerful it is and that is totally ridiculous. The enemies don't react enough to being shot. I've been spoiled by games like Golden Eye and Socom and I'm not that impressed with this one. The game can be fun, but it's also pretty short. They're aren't enough levels and some of them are too long. Why can't you pick up enemy weapons like you can on practically every other shooter? I hate how you just have to wait until the game lets you get a certain one.
Its ok

The game is ok. It is fast, I beat it in 2 player campaign in about 3 days. The story line is a little lacking. Single player campaign is almost the same as the multiplayer. The graphics could be better. You can even walk through some rocks and walls. It is fun to play however. I think the difficulty level could be classified as "medium" as long as you have some shooting game experience.
Multiplayer (non campaign) is probably the best part of the game. The bots you can add to your team have a relatively good AI and can be hard to kill at times.
this game is sweet why arnt there alot of reveiws for this!

Many said this game was dissapointing, but I thought it was very good. I liked the co-op missions. The reason I ranked it 4 stars is because it was way way to short.! This game would have recieved a full 5 stars from me, if it were LONGER. I was enjoying playing it with my friends and suddenly it ended. I was pretty dissapointed. Over all, I thought this game was SHORT BUT SWEET.

Can the good fight get better in Medal of Honor Rising Sun.no, Ea's crappy controls prove that theory wrong quick. first of all if you don't get carpal tunnel syndrome after playing this game for three minutes you must have an artificial hand. You have to use all two koysticks just to move and regular play uses every button of the controller. It's so darn confusing especially if your a newcomer to the MOH series. Frontline is so much better I would get that instead and it's cheaper.
