Medal of Honor. The series is one of the best and most successful when it comes to dealing with WWII. EA(One of the best companies out there)always goes all out with this series. Not only that, it is realistic and based on fact and makes you feel as if your really there (thanks to the consulting work they do with Captain Dale Dye).
All in all, MOH is still going strong and probaly will be 10, 15 years from now. Keep up the good work EA.
FACT: Steven Spielberg created the series.

This is overall a very good game. My cousin and i played this
game from 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. Yeah, its that addictive. The only thing i didnt like was the ending. It left us hanging to do another mission but the game just stoped. I cant wait until the next medal of honor comes out so i can finish the mission.
Best EA Game created!

I got this the day after came out, and all I can say so far is that it is awesome. The sound is about 10 times better than Frontline, and the graphics are pretty much the same, but there is a ton more dialogue in this one, unlike in Frontline, where only your commander talks to you, and there are dramatic parts in it to, which kind of makes it like a movie. The only bad thing about this is, the ending, which just left me hanging, and wanting to do the next mission. But overall...This is definetely worth your money!

This was a ok game. It is definately worth your money, at least for the first time. it gets pretty boring once you try to play it again. Also the ending is really annoying, making you want to play another mission, just to tell you the game is over. Overall, it is a ok game. i would rather stick with the ones on the computer(Allied Assault, Spearhead, Breakthrough).
O.K

I am a big fan of the medal of honour series owning all games avaliable. When I wen't to buy the latest i was advised to reconsider and save my money, it was like the rest i was told. After playing the game for 15 minutes I was hooked. The game doesn't have much better graphics the frontline, however the gameplay is FANTASTIC!
The concept of fighting a new kind of enemy is great, the japs in this game are hard ba***rds in which it takes alot of force to kill them. Their attacks are also more deadly as they use the infamous bonzai charges (they attack with bayonet mounted weapons with deadly effect).
The mission plan is better than the last as they are structured better. The weapons have the same authenticy and the multiplayer is out of this world. Unlike frontline you are alowed AI bots as well as multiple players. When you put the game into your console the action begins, Pearl harbour is your first mission, in which the realism is great. The concept of taking on multiple waves of jap planes on a sinking battleship sounds dull but it is so intense you feel like your'e there in the action. The missions which procced are just as captivating as the last and are even more challeging than the last games.
Some feel that playing agains the japs won't be quite the same as the war on the western front (i was one of them) but i reassure you that it is just as gripping as its earlier games. The game puts you into the shoes of Griffin who is stationed at pearl harbour and you follow him on mostly solo or small teamed missions all across the paciffic front in a bid to elimate the japanese threat.
The game lives up to its name and continues to be the best WW2 series around
fantastic game, a must buy!

How the Heck did such a good game come out that is a first person shooter for the GC. The multiplayer is great with the addition of new AI for you to battle with but I think there should be a capture the flag mode. The graphics are great and the old freaky MOA frontline music is also back. The story is really great and you want to keep going to get to the next cut seen. It is fun to now use the new wepons including jap weapons and my favorite the one shot kill welrod. If you love nightfire, the other MOA games or Battlefield 1942 you will love the months of entertainment this game brings!

This game is incredibly fun, but it is way too short. I beat the game after playing for only a couple of hours or so. The last mission leaves you with no conclusion and is a pretty ridiculous way to end the game. Where is the legendary atomic bombing of Huroshima and Nagasaki? Save your money and just rent the game for a few days.
Some great parts but otherwise don't waste ur money

Before I rented Rising Sun, I had heard a lot of great stuff about it. However I was pretty disappointed with it. The first two missions r awsome, where u shoot down zeros in Pearl Harbor. After that it went down hill.
The missions after that just got boring. Running around in a jungle with only a sniper rifle is just not fun. The fourth mission is one of the worst missions I have ever played, because u r only armed with a sniper rifle and a pistol which u run out of ammo in the beggining. However there were some memorable parts. Like sitting in the back of a moving demolition truck shooting japs, and riding on an elephant with a machine gun on it back. Also many machine guns placed thourought the level is fun, becuase u get to shot at masses of japs.
The last mission though is annoying. The last part of it though is fun. Ur in the back of a zero and u have to escape a sinking carrier, while being shot at by other zeros. In all shooting down zeros is one of the best parts of this game. But after u escape, the game just ends. It has to be one of the worst endings I have ever seen. I heard that there is a sequal, but they could have waited till the sequal was finsihed and combined the two games.
Also this game is extremely easy. I beat it in less than a half a day. While a game like Time Splitters 2 took me a lot longer.
Graphics wise, this game is pretty good. Especially when u get to shoot down aircraft. However guns look really fake.
The plot is horrible. In the beggining they at least could have shown a begining cut seen showing the japs attack Pearl Harbor. Throughout the game u have no sence of connectedness. The missions are very random. Also the cut scenes are not cool at all. They don't show anything. They just show some guy talking to u. That is not cool. And the ending was just plain bad. It really wasn't an ending at all. U just saw a carrier explode. What's up with that!!!
This game is not worth $50. The plot stinks and it is sort of repeative. Highlights are shooting down zeros, riding in a truck while killing japs, and riding on an elephant with a huge machine gun, but otherwise the game stinks. I recomend that u just rent it with a bud, unless ur obessed with the Medal of Honor series.
stop listening to these bad reviews!!!

If you are thinking twice about buying Rising Sun because of these bad reviews, then you better stop listening to them or you're going to miss out on a great game! The reviews that this game is getting are pathetic! The gameplay is amazing and the action that the missions give make you feel like you were really a young soldier fighting [japanese] in WW2! By the way, the Pearl Harbor mission is awsome! Also, if you're looking for a great time with your friends as you kill (...) in extreme war sequences, this is the game to buy! The
co-op gameplay is fun and i can garauntee a great time. The plot of the game is cool like the one in Frontline but i really think that it would have been better if they would have showed the legendary bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But all in all this is one of the best buys you can make and i dont think i have ever played such a good war game. I congratulate the folks at EA Games and i hope that they keep up the good work!
