Best Mario Game Yet!

I played this at my friend's house, and I think it's the best Mario game yet! You can play as all the original Mario characters and a few enemies. The controls are simple, and it's really fun.

I rented this the other day and after having it for 5 days I went out a purchased it for my Daughter and Son for Christmas. The game is excellent and a lot of fun. I even played it for a few hours. There are several skill levels and a large range of Characters that you can be. Depending on which character you pick you get special powers that you can use during game play.

I truly think that mario power tennis is the the best game yet.I know, and if you have played this game, will see that this game is more funner than any other game you might come across. This game will let you have a selection of to play as either koopa kid,donky kong,dd kong, mario, bowser, waluigi, luigi, boo, peach, daisy, and yoshi. As well, each are gifted with thier own special tennis way to serve, hit back and best of all a special cool way to do a secret attack (each have a diffrent kind of slam as ther secret attack).

i was wating for this game. i loved the first and this one is even better. the cool thing about this game is that each person has two unique power shots, a defenceve & an ofenceve. the only thing is that some of the mini games are kind of pointless and aren't fun. but the multi player and single player other wise are great. this game is fun for all people weather you like tenis or not. my dad even likes this game. to sum it up i say buy this game and you wont regret it.

Positives-many interesting courts to choose from. These range from a "gimmic" Luigi's Castel to a more "serious" grass, clay or hard court
- the characters all have their own special power moves. These serve to add some sort of random twist to the tennis action.
- there are a multitude of everyone's favorite Mario characters to choose from. Furthermore there are many characters to unlock. Each chacater is given the helpful label such as "all-around" for Mario or "power for Wario
- the instruction manual is very informative. It provides the gamer with information on how to perfome the more technical shots such as the drop shot and the lob.
- there are many mini games to keep a gamer interested.
- great multi player mode.
- like all nintendo designed and published games, it is very easy to pick up and play.
- lastly, the game is very fun to play if only for a short time.
Negatives-at times the game play may seem rather slow. It can be adjusted in multi-player mode but in single player mode i am yet to find any such option.
- the tounament mode, which is the heart of the single player game, is not at all deep. It consists of three rounds each round does not get more difficult then the last. In other words, the player the gamer faces in the first round is just as challenging as the play he will face in the final.
- the character's power moves, especially when playing doubles, can get very annoying. Each time a "power shot" occurs, there is a 4 second cut scene which disturbes the game action.
- lastly, besides the "advanced" difficulty game setting, the game is very easy to play. This game will not be challanging to anyone who can return a cross court shot (which mean everyone).

It's great. The game is soooooo fun. But the ghosts get annoying and the background are weird. Every time I try to hit the ball with Yoshi, the stupid thing turns into an eggs. But it's fun. I recommend it.

Here's the info: If you like the Mario Parties and you like Mario Kart... you are most asuredly going to like Mario Power Tennis. It's just cute and fun. I rented it first... just because I like to be safe... I suggest you do the same.... If you like it... BUY IT!

This game is okay. The graphics are good and there is a variety of mini games. The replay value is moderate. If you want a great Mario
sports game, then get Super Mario Strikers when it comes out. It's a Mario soccer game. I played the demo and it was really fun. Get that instead of this.

i played the demo at wal-mart once and it's interesting but hard!
you have to be quick to get it but the poeple are soooo slow!!!!
the ghosts come out of a powerup and pick on the other player if you pick it up too.

This game is all i ever talk about right now! you can choose between 14 characters you can choose from. each person has a unique skill, either [all-aroud~ mario, luigi] [technique~peach, daisy] [defense~waluigi] [power~wario, DK, bowser] [speed~yoshi, Koopa, diddy kong] or [tricky~bowser jr., boo]. i rented it for a week and i quote "a fun game for the whole family!" there are 4 secret characters, fun bonus games, like artist on the course and terror tennis, and cool courses. i rate 10/10 for this!
