Animal Crossing is very fun. There's one teeny problem. First you will get adicted to it and play it all the time, it will become very important to you to do it... maybe even part of your daily routine. Then after you do it for a long time you get very tired of it. I mean, it is my favorite game, but i get tired of it... then after a long while you play your long lost game and the whole daily routine thing starts all over again. Buy it for your child, just make sure you let them do it! Don't worry, they'll get tired of it! :-)

It uses way to much memory on the memory card 58 blocks is way to much i mean had to delete everything on my card just to save it. And it gets pretty boring and repetitive at times. And you get the worst head aches imaginable, in other words i wouldnt say it sucks but i also wouldnt say it rules. If you dont want a head ache dont play this game id say go get a burger from burger king. Its more worth your time and money. Overall i would say rent it first definatly PLEASE LISTEN!

It is only fun you have time to play and to have some sense of directions. If not, I dont think you will enjoy playing it.

This game is a classic, that'll suck you in and make you addicted. Because the gameplay can get a little stale, the geniuses at Nintendo decided to include 17 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games into the game. On the Wii console, there is a thing called the "Virtual Console", which allows the gamer to purchase classic Nintendo games for $5 a piece. This can add up quickly, which makes this game such a good deal. If you do the math, 17 games at $5 a piece ends up being $85 on the Wii Virtual Console, which means that for $20, you're getting quite a steal. Unfortunately, because it is a Gamecube game, you cannot use the Wii remote as a controller for the games, but the Gamecube controller feels like it was made for NES games.

When I first saw this game, I thought Oh-No, another Japanese Animation Game. But it's not. It allows you to plant trees, dig up trees, watch fireworks, visit another town using the GBA link, and so much else. When I read the Nintendo Power article about this game, it hit me that this game was the coolest game coming out.

Animal Crossing is a more kid-friendly version of The Sims.
You are a person. Your neighbors are animals. You can talk to them, do favors or even sometimes gamble in a way! There are different town events to participate in. You can sometimes get items from participating. You can shop, design clothes or an umbrella, write letters, and go on or set up treasure hunts and much more. However sometimes you loose a lot of Bells [your town's money] by gambling or buying something. You can earn it back by either fishing, catching bugs, or finding fossils. All in all it is avery good game and I would suggest it.

I bought this game recently and thought I would enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game but the task of paying off your house is rather boring so I advise you to skip that. If you do want to pay off your house, have fun fishing and catching bugs...*loser*.
Well, anyway, Animal Crossing is a good game for people who want to relax and don't buy games to complete them, but to enjoy them. There are endless possibilities to decorate your house, paint the roof, send letters and get free gifts from your neighbors! (especially on Holidays). You play yourself, you can buy, design, and even find new clothes. Your house grows everytime you pay off your loan but the loan gets bigger and bigger. You can a get lot of items to add to your cataloge by just heading to lost and found or the dump but sadly, you must part with these items unless your house is big enough to hold them.
Some of your neighbors will be nice to you, some will be awfully mean to you. There is no objective really to this game. If you can play your game cube everyday, this is especially good, but if you can't brace yourself for the angry neighbors.
There are some problems you can run into in the game, don't mess with the time clock on the gamecube, or reset, you'll be in loads of trouble.
If you have a friend that has this game, I heard you can go to their town, which I imagine will be very amusing. But when you travel to your friends town, you lose a member from your town because they moved to your friends town.
I recommend this game for us lazy people with nothing to do in the summer time or on a rainy day. You'll have loads of fun with the little town and special "extras" on certain days.
Only four stars you ask? It's not the greatest game, and you can bored easily sometimes if you have a life or whatever you call that. Don't expect much if your a fan of action games...or any other RPGS and that stuff.

THIS GAME IS COOL! YOU CAN PRETTY MUCH DO ANYTHING YOU WANT! SOMETIMES IT GETS BORING. BUT THEN IT GETS COOL AGAIN! BUY IT!
