I might not have Sapphire Version...but I have Ruby.In each series there are 2 basic games (Ruby and Sapphire)
and one special edition (Emerald). I will have to give this game a high score, because collecting Pokemon to have different
advantages against other trainers and your 1/2 friend, 1/2 rival, seems to be challenging, and challenge is what counts in every Pokemon game.

I think that Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald will be very very popular.

im glad nintendo still continues pokemon

pokemon sapphire and ruby are great games, but im sure someone has to admitt that the first versions were and always will be the most memorable. However, im glad nintendo has come out with pokemon on a more enhanced handheld game, ONLY because it gives it more color and better graphics. However, the bad thing is that if you dont have a gameboy advance, you are going to have to shlep out to the store and spend either 70 or 100 dollars for a console. Which is what i did, by the way. Over all, the graphics are OK, im sure that pokemon could look alot like golden sun. But anyway, the game is harder, which is good, and the new pokemon are great.

Pros: New pokemon, weather conditions (rain, volcanic ash, sandstorms)

Cons: New game is on gameboy advance, bad for people who dont have one, 2 on 2 battles only apear about 6 times in the game when you battle a pair of 2 trainers.

I am a nine-year-old girl. I like the Pokemon Sapphire because you can catch Pokemon that don't appear in the other games. I like Seviper because I like snakes. I like chasing Brendan around the world. He only appears when you play as a girl. I like battling him because he is hard to defeat. I only have four of the new badges.

The Best RPG for GBA so Far

I got this game one afternoon in April, and it cost me a whole [$$]. But I can say, it was the most worthy purchase of my [$$] that I have ever spent on a GBA game. I have beaten the game over two times and every time I play Pokemon Sapphire(PS), I always find something new to do. Now for the facts. The game features over 200 pokemon. The graphics are also a top notch above the other games. The speed for the game also seems faster. There's also Pokemon contests, and now it seems like you have not one, not two, but three rivals, which include Brendan/May, Wally, and Steven.

Cool Tip: If you plan to beat the Elite Four, bring a fighting pokemon, a fire pokemon, an ice pokemon, and maybe a dark pokemon.

Team Line Up: Try To Beat This!(From highest to lowest level)

Swampert
Manectric
Mightyena
Ninetales
Machamp
Aggron

I have beaten the Elite Four over seven times.

i am disappointed

This pokemon game was good and all. But nintendo can't get rid of great pokemon like Charizard, Dragonite, Blastoise, etc. In my opinion Gold and Silver were the best versions. Since you could have all the pokemon up to 251 that's plenty to catch. Breeding wise off the start a person can catch five pidgey at level 2 with a Totodile
and trade with another version where it's completed and have a team of a totodile, charmander, chicorita, dratini, larvitar, and someone else off the start. While ruby and sapphire some problems they're still good but if u are starting to play pokemon now get either Gold or Silver pokemon version.

All right at everybody here is one good game. It has many inprovements from from Gold and Silver that we wanted. The only bummer is that there is no night time. It is always day. But anyway, There are over at least 30 new berries and this time you can plant new ones in threre place and even water them. There is now the ability to choose your gender. Your rival will be the oppisit gender.

The new fishing system is kind of defective but I geuess that makes it more realistic.

There are now 2 types of bikes to choose from for your convienice, Mach or Acro. Like always there are there starting Pokemon to choose from. This time they are Treecko the grass pokemon, Torchic the fire Pokemon, and Mudkip the water Pokemon. Each with there own abilites and weakness.

Graphics:Go back and laugh at to Gold, Silver, Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Gameplay: The battle system as improved. But the basic controlls are the same.

Sound and music: A entirley new soundtrack. Once again Nintendo as been able to match every sound or music perfectly

Final thoughts: New players to the pokemon or pokemon masters will have a ball. Definitley one of the best games for the GBA.

I love this game!

If you're not a pokemon fan already, then when you play this game get ready to join the milloion, no, BILLIONS of avid pokemon lovers in the world. From choosing between Torchic, Mudkip, and Treecko for starter pokemon to looking for the elusive Latias, this game is one of the best I've ever played. It's a must-have for any fan of video games.

Yes, we all know that pokemon red, yellow, and blue are all very good games, while gold, silver, and crystal were good but still the worse of the two.And then pokemon ruby and sapphire came laughing at all of them! It has wonderful music and adorable pokemon and there are funny names (an example is Steven Stone). It can be a little easy but there are some hard spots (I can't beat Archie-just because of his Golbat!) I have no complaints about this game and all pokemon fans should have it.

The most challenging Pokemon game in the series

I'm a pokemon veteran. I've played Red and Gold, and I'm happy to say that I own this game. The graphics have been vastly improved from the GBC versions, and the sprite attack animation have been made more... well, animated. There are a lot of new pokemon in this game to catch, more legendaries, and Team Aqua to deal with. Plus, this game is more girl-friendly, since you can choose to play as MAY. Your rival this time will be of the opposite gender you chose.

Like in the other games, to be a pokemon master, you have to catch every single one of these monsters and add them to your collection, and each pokemon you catch is listed in your pokedex, a detailed mini-encyclopedia. This is one way to play the game.

The other goal you have is to become the CHAMPION by defeating the 8 Hoenn gym leaders and defeat the Elite Four. This is no easy task. Pokemon battles are now more difficult, because a lot of new moves unique to the game, and individual pokemon traits were added to make it even more challenging. The occasional 2-on-2 battles are interesting, because they require a bit more strategy to win. If you thought pokemon was simple before, play this game if you're looking for something difficult.

Now, the stuff that's not so good. As I said before, this isn't an easy game to win. If you want pokemon basic training, I suggest buying the Crystal version instead.

Even though there are all these new pokemon, you CANNOT TRADE WITH Gold/Silver/Red/Blue/Yellow/Crystal versions. That really turned me off.

In retrospect, the Gold/Silver/Crystal versions had the most pokemon to collect, and more gym leaders, making it the easiest to beat. If you get frustrated easily, don't buy this game.

Secondly, I hate the fact that there are more HMs (Hidden Machines) that you have to teach your pokemon to complete the game. For those of you who don't know, an HM teaches a move to a pokemon that grants it an ability to use outside battles. But, these moves can't be forgotten, so if you teach a pokemon a move and want to change it because it's too weak, you're out of luck.

Lastly, there isn't a great balance of pokemon available. Water pokemon are the most common, greatly endangering those who like using fire/ground/rock types. It's not easy to come up with a 6 pokemon team that can handle any situation, in fact, it's impossible in this game. At times you may have to raise "reserve" pokemon to beat the weaknesses of your opponent's pokemon to win.

So there you have it. If you're not turned off by what I said above, go ahead and buy this game. Otherwise, get the Crystal version.

The ultimate pokemon game

This game is DEFINITLY recommended to any pokemon nut.The two exclusive pokemon in this game are latias and kyogre. Also the people say that each game is equally great but that is a lie.If you want good pokemon consider getting sapphire because the pokemon are better in sapphire.Kyogre is a water type.In ruby the legendary pokemon is groudon a ground type.Kyogre is better than groudon. Also others are better in sapphire.People also say there is no such thing as a best starter. WRONG! treeko is best for sapphire (grass type), and mudkip is best in ruby. (water type). when you beat steven the championat th end you are on the search for latias if your playing sapphire. And i can give you a tip to get it.First take out a pokemon that has pretty good speed like 160 or something and it must know mean look. Then get another pokemon out and it must know false swipe. use false swipe and no matter what latias will not faint.then you can keep on throwing poke balls or what ever to catch it.again use mean look then false swipe until it has 1 hp and even if you hit it again when it has 1 hp it still will not die.And also for those of you to catch mew or celebi as far to my knowlegde you cannot catch them. Ive also heard about pokemon called deoxsis and jirachi. i think you need a game shark or code breaker in order to obtain them. Well i hope that my review was helpful to you. good luck catching all of the pokemon and completing your quest!
