It may not be the megaman we all know an love, but it's something special all right. The game is a great take on the megaman series and is very fun. You select battle chips as weapons and you get the battle chips from defeating others on the net.
About my only complant is it gets boring. Running back and forth and back and forth. I guess thats a flaw with a fair amount of rpgs though. Great game though, but I doubt I'll buy the sequal since it doesn't seem to differ much.
The Best GBA Game I have ever Seen!!!

This game is AWSOME!! I prefer this game than Mega Man Battle Network 2. That game is to complicating. I played this game at my friends house. It was sooo cool I decided to get one myself. This game is almost as fun as the Zelda games. It has amazing battle types and battle chips. Just Awsome...

this is the greatest game ever for gba, actually im not sure since megaman battle network 2 is coming out. but it is an amazing game, there is a huge enviroment consisting of three different towns. you can talk to anyone you want and they all have different things to say. you can go on missions to help your friends. i also have ninetendo 64 and there only a few games on that that have an enviroment as large as this. i have beaten the game several times and i still keep on playing to see if i can get more rare chips. another feature that i have not gotten the chance yet to use is the battle arena. this allows you to connect your gba to your friends and you can battle or trade chips. you should really get this. if you are thinking of getting the sequel get this first.

being a long time megaman fan, i was interested to see what the next spin-off of the series would be. i really enjoyed the x series, megaman soccer was very enjoyable, and i actually have the japanese counterparts of the original series also. while i may not have the game yet, i gave it a try on my emulator and i'm hooked. i bought a game boy advanced and battle network two as soon as i had the money. i even pre-ordered megaman zero in support of continuing the megaman series.
this is a whole new breed of gameplay, while it may have been done before i'm not one to say ive seen it. the battles are rpg like but still have movement as you would expect from a megaman game. the story is pretty seamless, and as all megaman fans couldn't do without, plenty of upgrades.
you may want to try this game before you buy it, i did ad overall i'm glad i did.
THE BEST!

I've got a ton of GBA games but this one is the most
fun of them all. The only part I didn't care for much is
the story but with the acception of that it was perfect!
reccommended to all

this game has fun gameplay especially in the battle mode. there are tons of secrets and 176 battle chips that are randomly chosen in every battle. Outside of battle is still fun as well. you should definitely get this game.
Addicting!!

When I first played this game it was a bit confusing but after a while you start getting hooked onto it. It's pretty long which makes it better. The storyline is that you are partners with Megaman and you can hack into the net and into other kinds of electronics. The WWW is a bad group of people who want to take over the net. You can buy data chips and equip them to Megaman so you can fight those evil viruses on the net and (if you can) stop the WWW. This is a great game with cool graphics.

To start off, Megaman is Decent!
Megaman has a good, but can be frustrating, story line; Although
it has good sound and quality, it lacks in general graphics (compared to most other GBA games).
P.S. I do NOT reccomend 'Megaman Network Battle' as a good game for impacient people.
