what a great sequel

Ive loved the kingdom hearts franchise since it first started and after the first one I oh so needed to get this game.The ending to the first leaves you in a ramble it leaves you asking questions like will sora ever see Riku again what happened to Kiari and is Ansem ever going to return. The idea was genius I mean combining final fantasy gameplay and disney characters together is pretty damn original. They have the characters from all the disney classics like nightmare before christmas,peter pan,alice in wonderland,etc. Im so addicted to this game now look Im not just saying this because im a kid its good and if you liked the first one and you have a gba this is for you. It has stunning graphics unforgettable characters and a deep story line. Sora our main hero has his abilitys on cards now and he has a deck of cards you can customise at will you have attack cards magic cards and cards that summon freinds with powerful moves.Plus as you level up you can enhance your health bar,enhance the number of cards you can hold in your deck and learn sleights which are combo moves you can also,last but not least,create your own combos.im about half way through and I cant tear away from it I was bearly able to tear away from it to tell you how good it is.so dont hessitate go get a copy thank me later.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Over-View

Based on what I've played so far, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories appears to be shaping up into a solid title. While the gameplay may turn off fans of the more traditional mechanics seen in the original Kingdom Hearts, there's still plenty of charm in the game thanks to the main cast of characters and the assortment of cameos in it. There's also a fair amount of variety to the game once you start to explore the card system, which is definitely interesting, even if it's not for everybody.
If you just want to fill in the gap of the story in between the first game until Kingdom Hearts II arrives in Fall 2005, this is it. You can take this one on the road as well. That's my review. Thanks for your time!

This is a must buy if you like the first get this games it's going to be so cool.

It's not as good as the first one, but a great GBA game!

KHCoM is really Kingdom Hearts 1 1/2. So play it before you play Kingdom Hearts 2, coming sometime this year.

Gameplay: 9.5/10: This time the battle system involves cards. Not like a Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh card game. You make a deck with cards like Keyblade cards, cure, magic, even summons. It's a pretty easy and fun battle system you know.

Plus, if you beat the game, you get reverse/rebirth mode, which allows you to play as Riku.

Graphics: 10/10: Very smooth, colorful graphics. And the FMV's, wow, they look like the PS2 game. It wouldn't be impressive if this was a DS game, but it is amazing for a GBA game.

Sound:10/10: Sora sounds the same. Also, a perfect import of the "Simple and Clean" song in the credits!

Music: 9/10: It's pretty good.

Overall, a solid continuity of a unique triolgy! Get the 1st for PS2, beat it, then get this one, beat it, and wait for KH2!

all I have to say is I bought a gameboy SP for this game alone and the next thing I have to say is this game is Epic not as Epic as the 1 and 2 for the ps2 but it is still amazing so buy it

Ok, let's be honest - this game is being marketed as a continuation of Square Enix's Final Fantasy series for GBA. At least in my area they are playing up the Square Enix name in the ads. That being said, this is not Final Fantasy, it is a Yu-gi-oh rip-off. I don't think that alone is a bad thing, but it would help in the advertising if they would say - IF YOU LIKE YU-GI-OH, YOU WILL LOVE KH: CoM!

Yeah, the Disney tie-in doesn't hurt either.

The problem is, games shouldn't abuse their users, and this title has to be the most user-abusive video game ever. After reading the instruction book and the strategy guide I STILL can't make heads or tails of the game. I have to agree completely with another review which mentioned the enemies being way too easy or God-like with no middle ground.

Yes, the pictures are pretty. Once you are beyond that, there is nothing else to hold your interest. To quote another Disney character - Bagheera - how is the student supposed to retain the lesson after you have beat him senseless? Overall, I don't see how Square Enix could get it so right with Final Fantasy Tactics and screw up so hard on KH: CoM. I have to believe this was an accident as I cannot believe anyone intentionally thought this was a good idea.

BOTTOM LINE TIME : I have never before given out a 1-star rating, but this turkey sure deserves it. If I could go into negative territory, I would. If you are into Yu-Gi-Oh, then this is your game. If not, you will laugh, you will cry, you will kiss $35 bucks good-bye. Oh, and you will be beaten black-and-blue for the privilage.

Ok. First things first. I would like to say have played and beaten Kingdom Hearts (1). After playing it, I was left speechless. Great graphics, long game (took me like a month to pass!), and good characters. The only thing I was upset about was that you could only play as 1 character, that means you could not have played as goofy or donald! I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but *SPOILER AHEAD* you can play as Cloud. Not ssure if I'm correct, but hey. Its also has cut scences similar to that of the GBA Videos. So its like having a ps2 game right in your hand! This game is releasing December 7, and I hope it will be good!
