my four year old likes this game, but sometimes get a little frustrated with the brigde building activity, he just does not understand that concept, plus there is only 4 different missions to do and once there done, whats left to do???

Very disappointing

I bought this game for my 5 year old son. I ended up playing for him. The movement of the heroes is very sporadic. I even had a hard time getting the men to slow down so I could get to the hotspots to click on them. They were very jumpy and he was getting very upset because he couldn't click on anything. The game itself was ok. It only took us about 2 hours to finish it. I probably won't buy any more Rescue Heroes on CD Rom.

My children love it, and it works on our computer.

I purchased this game for my 8-year-old son for his birthday--mainly because he's been getting it from the library on and off for about a year now and I'm getting tired of having to renew it. He loves it that much. He also likes the Pirate Raider; but evidently the Battle Castle has more things you can do. Even my 12-year-old plays it occasionally. Our computer is older and can't run some of the new games, but this one works fine.

I gave it a 1 because they did not have a 0, to give. I bought this game for my son and I try to install it and it tells me that it has encountered an error. I go to the web site and it tells me what to do with that error, but after I do what it told me it does the same error thing again. My son and I both got so frustrated and finally gave up. I am returning it to the place where I purchased it for a full refund. Good luck for those of you that also bought this Horrible Game.

I agree with other reviews that the mouse clicking is very difficult. It's difficult to maneuver the men around. My son tried for a few minutes, became so frustrated, I finished the one mission, but couldn't get him to do any more. Would recommend the I Spy software - ages 6-10, but he loves it! Don't have to know how to read.

Not Enough Levels

I purchased this game for my 5 year old son. The 4 levels that are in the game have incredible graphics and were very entertaining for my son to play. The problem is there are only 4 levels. After a day of playing this game my son became bored and has barely played it since because he has become so familiar with the situations in each level. You can change the level of difficulty in the game but that does not change the scenerios faced in each level. Once again, 4 great levels, but only 4 levels.

Mind numbing

This game makes you do the same things over and over, it never holds my son's attention long enough to get to the next level. There is no choice of games you have to do every thing in order. We have another Rescue Heroes game and both my boys 3 and 6 love it, but this one is a dog!

Great Game to play with your 3 to 8 year olds

We have had hours of fun playing this game together. We have two grandsons, aged 7 & 3. They have enjoyed becoming the Pirate King over and over again.
It has just the right amount of challenges and the fact that you can remodel your ship has been a source of joy for our 3 year old grandson. You can also print your achievement certificates and copies of your ships. It was well worth the money! If you want hours of fun with your 3 to 8 year olds buy it and you too, can become the Pirate King!

As an adult some of the conversational dialogue is tediously repetitious.
