This game is one of the coolest pokemon games. I had tons of fun playing it in which I would spend most of my time. For one thing you can either be a boy or a girl, and I'm a girl so this was a pretty cool feature. There's an all new battle tower in which you battle tough trainers to advance and get prizes. It's also a lot like gold and silver, but Crystal is the best. I highly recommend this game.(especially for people who like pokemon) :)

Words cannot describe how much I love this game.
This is not so much more different than the Silver or Gold version but it is better I now cause I got both silver and gold.
In this new game there's lots of things to do, defeat the gym leaders, Buena's radio show, Ruins of Alph and searching for the legendary Pokémons Lugia, Ho-Oh, Mew and Mewtwo.
PLUS the check out the new battle tower it's hard but try it.
These are my Strongest pokémons: Feraligahrt level: 90, Bellossom lever: 86, Weezing level: 86, Dodrio lever: 86, Gyarados level: 90 and Tyranitar level: 86.

I have been dying for a Game Boy for years but got around to buying one. Finally, my friend gave me the Gameboy Color bundle for Christmas and it came with this game. I was never really a Pokemon fan and never really understood the concept or really cared for the cartoon or movies. I'm actually rather picky with games and am surprised that I LOVE this game.

I think it's because I like games that make you think, require you to make decisions, also have you battle and acquire things (like Zelda, which is another game series I love). In the beginning, I basically started playing with no clue as to what I was doing. But then I got stuck so I looked up a walkthrough on the web and had to start over. It has taken me 20 hours (over a span of 3 weeks) but I am now on the ice path, getting ready to see Blackthorn City and then I'm done with that part of the game....I'm assumming I got to Johto next? We'll see....I didn't read the entire walkthrough because I do want to be surprised. So even if I, a non-Pokemon fan, can love this game then it must be awesome.

Two things, though....I hate the fact that while trying to explore caves or the ice path or using surf in the water, I am constantly stopped by wild pokemon to battle. This annoys me because it stops me from getting to where I have to go. I don't mind a battle every once in a while but it's like every 2 steps, I am stopped. Also, the whole ruins of Alph puzzle is confusing as well as keeping up with the radio shows and etc. Sometimes there are TOO many things to keep up with. Those people who are Pokemon experts may not encounter this frustration but those of us who are playing for the first time may find this confusing. Anyway, it is worth the confusion and frustration....BUY THIS GAME....I just hope I can catch pikachu! =)

Poke'mon Crystal is very awesome!!! For girl Poke'mon fans like me finnaly get to play as a girl!! Some of the cities have changed a tad like Cinnawood City has a new addition and so does Route 40. That game is awesome, man!!

I got this game on my birthday and it was brilliant!The graphis are very good and now you can get 10 trainer's phone numbers to battle them again,to get items from them or just so they can phone you are say hello.Even if you can't talk it's a good feature and so is the radio,with a cool contest every evening which I love to enter!I like the idea of you being a boy or a girl because I am a girl and I wanted to have a girl charater.I thought this game was very fun and the best game I've ever got!Also the graphics like I said are much better than the orginal game especially "Battle Tower."So I have rated the game 5 stars because it is worth buying but some other people might not like it and think it is boring.

Pokemon Crystal is an awesome game with many different activities than the occurances that happen in Pokemon Red , Blue or Yellow. Basicly its like any other Pokemon game with just some new activities to do and some new Pokemon. The starter Pokemon you get to choose from are Chickorita , Totodile or Cyndaquil. Personally I started out with a Totodile and raised its level abt 5 levels higher than each of the Gym leaders I faced. You catch Pokemon , Do favours for people and battle trainers and Gym leaders! Not a ton , whole lot of action but it is a good game. Have fun!

You should get this game. It is like Gold and Silver but its has some different stuff.
1. The new battle tower
2. Pokemon move before the battle
3.New radio show at 6:00 pm through midnight to get points for items.
It is great for kids. You should buy it for kid pokemon fans.

i think that out of all the pokemon games that crystal would have to be the best. Crystal is good because 4 once u can play as a girl and that there is 2 new types. The best new feature is the battle tower.
the best all around thing about the game is that it can keep you entertained 4 ages. it's downfalls are that u can't find moltres, Zapdos, Articuno or mewtwo otherwise it is the best came i have played
