The Most Confusing Game EVER

When I bought this and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for my GBA, I played this first. I didn't understand it at all and it wasn't fun either. In fact, it was extremely boring! I hate this game, it's even worse than Super Monkey Ball, and that's VERY VERY BAD!!!!

I haven't had it long so I can't really judge but, this is what I think of it right now! The graphics are ok, the sound is kinda cheap, ITS A REALLY HARD GAME TO GET USED TOO-the controls hard to get used to let me tell you that right now, its all about timing- a good thing is, there's alot of different things you can do in edit mode. This game will last you along time (most likley) I haven't tryed out the multi-player mode but it looks ok. What it comes down too really is the edit mode cause you can do so much in there make guys, make teams, rename guys, and a lot more... the setup screen before the match is cool you can pick alot of different things but my guess is (well since I haven't had this game long) is that it will be a challenge too get started and it will be fun. I give it a three cause it is fun and it takes awhile to beat.

now, now -- Super Monkey Ball is fun

hehe, anyway, it's a solid game with solid characters. I think the lack of WWF superstars makes it more enticing. It reminds me slightly of the first wrestling game for NES. Nameless characters are more fun to work with. As for saying Super Monkey Ball isn't fun... well... it's ok, but it's really funny to watch those monkeys running around like hamsters!!

This game rocks!!! It has tons and tons of wrestlers let alone the moves!!!!!There are wrestlers with the same moves of the wwe (wwf) like they call the stone cold stunner the deep freeze and the Rock Bottom the body clutch slam, oh ya and the peoples elbow the perfect elbow. I know it might sound kind of ... but the game still rocks. There are deathmatches where in a time limit this thing explodes and your wrestler gets damaged and maybe even in critical condition. There also has a gruesome match kinda like UFC fighting. lets not forget the battle royal where you have to eliminate three other wrestlers in the ring. The only stupid thing about this game is that you can't take out weapons in hardcore matches. This game is better than road to wrestlemania for gba. (... that game ...) Get this game if you are a wrestling fan you won't regret.

I've had this game for a week now. And this game is probably the best GBA Game i've ever played. I gave each part of this game a ranking from 1 to 10 1 being the worst 10 being the best.

Graphics-7
The Graphics are slighty better. but nothing special.

Sound-6.5 Sound is kinda weak. not that great but its okay

Gameplay-9.5
The gameplay is awsome. chose from Normal Single Matches, Tag matches, elimination matches. A UFC type of match. Elimination matches, survival matches, DEATHMATCHES, Electric cage, c4 dynamite exploding ring aft set time.

Controls-8 controls are kinda hard. takes a little to get used to but not that hard

Overall-9.0

I think that if you are a Wrestling fan of any sort, this game will be awsome for you.

Good but not super great. I miss Sportz Entertainment.

First off, this game is NOT like No Mercy or any of those Playstation SmackDown games. It's a lot slower in pace and focuses more on the pure wrestling. It's the best portable wrestling game out there, but I don't know...I think I've been spoiled by all the detail and flashiness of the 64 games. I'm not a huge Puroresu fan and I haven't mastered the super-complex stuff yet, and that could jade me, but I don't think Firepro's all that great.

Learning it isn't nearly as hard as people would lead you to think (just start the computer on level one and work your way up.) I'm glad it eliminates all the sissy tactics that lame players would use in the newer console games, like constantly running away, throwing chairs from a distance, using endless fireman's carries and armbars to win. It focuses more on creating a good long match instead of winning. You feel like you've earned your win, but the matches are kind of slow.

There are lots of wrestlers (familiar guys under differant names mostly) and a gigantic list of moves (lots of them awesome and wicked and crazy.) There are game features like choosing differant refs, exploding cage deathmatches, and the like. It's not nearly as complex and...well, FUN as the THQ's games with all their Sportz Entertainment. I miss the cretin "pander to everyone" stuff America's added to Pro Wrestling.

If you like Puroresu...you probably already own this game. If you're a casual fan, don't play this game, you most likely won't like it. If you're a semiserious gamer, go ahead, but there's no garuntees.

Once you get used to it, you'll never put it down

When i first heard about this game coming to the gameboy advance i was excited. Then i read some reviews and heard it was awesome. So with the money i saved i bought a gba and fire pro wrestling. At first i was disapointed because the gameplay takes some getting used to. Once you learn how to play though, You will never, eeeeeeeeeeeeeever put it down. This is a definate must-own game. Oh, and dont worry about there not being any real wrestlers in the game, They are all there just re-named. And its extremely easy to figure out who's who.

Fire Pro Wresting in America!!!

When I found out they were releasing FirePro in america i went crazy.Considering I'm a long time fan of the FirePro series and it gets tiring trying to figure out what the japanese on the games means, but not i don't have to.For a long time now FirePro has had a good sized following in america but it was always limited by the fact that they never had an english language release.I just hope people dont pass up this great title because its lack of a big federation logo on the front, because i promise you this game is one the best made wrestling titles you'll ever lay your hands.

Fire Pro Wrestling

There are mixed reviews for this game. I believe the bad reviews are due to its learning curve. Timing is everything. At first I was unable to get off any moves, but now I am winning more often. There is not a wrestling license for this game which means that the WWF/WCW stars are not available. However, there are some wrestlers that have very familiar moves. The game includes an edit/create wrestler option, so you can make your changes. Any real wrestling fans will really appreciate this game! I gave it 4 stars because it would have to be perfect to deserve 5. Great lasting appeal, buy it!

Finally Firepro comes to America

The Firepro wrestling series has been immensely popular in Japan and with US import gamers. BAM! has made our dreams come true with this game. I would have been much happier had this been released on a console(my preference: Dreamcast) but this game is definitely worth it.

This is not a game for impatient button masher fans. The controls take time getting used to, but once you learn them you will realize how great a game this is. It is hard to describe the satisfaction of finally getting the pin in a 20 minute or longer match. And if you want a rest from playing, just watch a CPU vs CPU match. Unlike most games, the computer wrestlers actually act like their real life counterparts thanks to Firepro's birlliant CPU logic, which brings me to...

Edit mode. In edit mode you can create a wrestler(73 of them actually), rename premade wrestlers, create organizations and trade wrestlers with other people(via link cable). The create-a-wrestler mode was first seen in a Firepro game, and no other game has ever matched the detail and options seen in Firepro's create mode. You can realistically create ANYONE you want. It may take some time, but the end result is satisfying.

I would've liked a career mode of some sort(I don't care much foir Audience mode), but this is still an excellent technical wrestling game.
