Pokemon Yellow Version -GB

Good game I thought some of the graphic's were a little tacky for my taste although the funny part is they say this game is for the original Game Boy but when you play the game the background like houses and the ocean and people the graphics really suck major but when you get into a pokemon battle with another trainer and you see both pokemon their both in crystal clear color which is really weird because this game is suppose to be for the GB not GBC so go figure I just thought that was pretty interesting that only the pokemon would come in color who knows maybe that's why they said on the front "Special Pikachu Edition" on the game boy cartridge but I will admit this game with out a dout in my mind is extremely to long but a very interesting game good for very long road trips defently Oh and remember if your going on a long road trip and you take your GBA SP remember to take the car charger with you for that sort of thing or the easy way take the Original GBA and just buy double AA batteries when you need them I wouldn't really recommend taking the GBA SP on long road trip just because when you plug in the car charger you can't listen to the radio while the car charger is in I found that out the hard way 1 time I plugged in the car charger but then it some how wouldn't let me listen to the radio. So buy this game if you have a roadtrip coming up and you get bored in the car very easily or if you just need something to do or just get bored any where. If you have an extremely short attention span do not get this game you will get bored with it really quickly and then want to trade it in and it is a little bit of a frustrating game at times so if you can't take frustration don't get this game either. I would recommend this game for anyone 10 years of age or older.

I think that this game was fun but a little repetative it was cool with the changes but since the plot and place were the same as the original(red & blue) it got boring.

Fun even after the end...

This is a great game! As a pokefan for years, I have fallen in love with this game. Even after almost 100 hours of play and defeating the Elite Four (which actually wasn't as hard as I expected it to be) there is still plenty to do. IYou can continue fighting with new pokemon and try to collect all 151(Yes, Mew's available if you are lucky) I am VERY excited to see if anything happens when you do collect all of them! GREAT BUY!

If you like Pokemon video games I totally recomend Pokemon Yellow for Color Game Boy..This is my favorite Pokemon Game made, it's the best game of the pokemon video game series man. It's just fun as heck.

I purchased this game as a request from my son "Storm". He had the game before and really enjoyed it. He is VERY happy to get another and that it arrived so quickly

Pikachu Is Soooo Cute

This game is pretty much the same as the Red and Blue versions (and the Green version if you live in Japan). However, if you're a Pikachu fan, you will enjoy it anyway. If you want something different, you'll have to wait till Gold and Silver come out in the US.

Pokemon yellow is an okay game.Its not a good as Pokemon Red or Blue cause 1.It really dosn't matter if pikachu follows you around(I'm not a fan of pikachu)2.Pikachu is the only one who says its name(it says "Pika!")Isn't that kinda unfair.All the other Pokemon just make sounds.3.You really can't beat the game unless you have Red or Blue.WHY? You can't get Meowth,,Magmar,Ekans,,Electabuzz,Weedle,Koffing,and Jynx.Dosn't that create problems.4.Pikachu dosn't evolve.As hard as you try Pikachu will NOT evolve.Raichu(his evolved form)is a very strong pokemon.Skip it and get Red or Blue.

This game is bad! very bad. The worst feature about this game is that its exactly the same as the first 2. There was all this hype surrounding this "new" version of the game, but its the same thing only that pikachu is following you around. Chances are that your kid probably has either one of the others (red,Blue) or both. If they want you to get them this, save yourself the cash and take their red or blue one and paint it yellow. They won't know the differance when playing.

ok let me just start and say that i really really hated pokemon! after my friends show me some cards of the game i still was sure its not worth my time but i sayd ok lets try it i playd the red version on an old game boy of my friend it was reall cool all the idea behind the pokemon quest i camed to NY for a week so i orderd the game boy color the the red version the blue version and this version of pokemon now i'm back after 3 weeks of NON STOP GAME PLAY TIME i took the time to say that its worth evrey dollar its costs so buy it! (allso i recomand on game boy color pokemon red and blue versions!)

I LIKE: A. here you got some color in blue and red version you got only red or blue color

B. the idea of the game going more close to the TV show

C. that pikachu all the time coming after you that is very sweet

D. the sounds oh god i dont know how they got all the sounds in there but i know this they did a very very very good job with the sounds of EVREY THING YOU CAN THINK OF

I think that this is a horrible game! I dont like the graphics .Its like playing pokemon blue and red...its exactly the same thing! It it repetitive and it gets boring after playing it for 2 or 3 minutes...the hole game is doing the same thing: fight, fight, fight...BORING!
