I think pokemon yellow is a really good game it is better than the other versions, it is more like the television proggramme because you meet Jesse and James. I recommend pokemon yellow for pokemon fans it is a great game it will not take you too long to finish. I reccomend that you buy it.

If you like Pokemon, buy this. If you don't, don't bother.

This game is really pretty fun. For the first 45 hours. Then it just starts to get a liiittle boring. I mean, how long can you go before you start to get sick of blacking out and listening to the other trainers idiotic comments which really don't apply to the game? I got this game in July. I'm still playing. Ok, so maybe I'm not the most fabulous gamer in the world, but I'm not that bad. If you love pokemon and have a good attention span, buy this game. If not, don't bother.

P.S- If you're a girl, prepare yourself for lots of annoying little digs from the girl trainers (Oh, I broke a nail, Oh no, I messed up my hair,Oh no, I have absolutly no personality or life, ect. ect.).

It's okay.............

I gave me this game since he is has and is playing Pokemon Red Version. I started playing this game. I was addicted. After I got Mewtwo, got everyone on my team(Alakazam, Mewtwo, Venasaur, Dragonite and Pidgeot) to the highest lever you can get them to(level 100)(yes, you can deposit Pikachu), caught 121 different Pokemon, beaten the Elite four and Gary a million times, got the TM for Hyper Beam and tought it to about everyone ,this game became super boring and it is somewhere on my desk covered with dust. You can not evolve Pikachu to Raichu.

fine game, despite general pokemon fatigue

If you can stand pokemon, then play and enjoy. Exellent replaying value, addictive. Too many repetative battles with the same type of creatures, but you can always walk away, if not in a mood to fight.

I like it! If you don't have Blue or Red versions, it's a great Pokemon game! New looks in Pokemon, the Unknown Dungeon, and a few other trainers are excellent! My favorite part of it all is seeing Pikachu's different moods. Other than not having Missingno (the item duplicating blob of blurred graphics) it's the best of them all!

This game is to much like Red and Blue version to me. It establishes that you just have to buy all the games. If you already have Red or Blue this is a waste of money although it is okay I guess. Plus you can't do codes on it. It's not true that all the pokemon are installed on this game like people say.

I got into watching Pokemon with my son. From the show, I had picked up the cards. It wasn't until one of my cousin's kids had the video game (Pokemon Blue) did I see where all this originated.

After one weekend of helping him play, I had to go out and pick up a Gameboy for myself. I opted for Pokemon Yellow (since Red, Blue and Yellow) all basically play the same. After one week, I've clocked in over 19 hours (by the game clock) and have collected over 28 pokemon and seen over 56 of the 150. The St. Anne just set sail and I have a looooong way to go until Victory Road! If you are looking for a game that you'll get a lot of mileage out of and bang for the buck, this certainly qualifies!

Every Pokemon fanatic has to love Pikachu. On Red & Blue you choose three other Pokemon than Pikachu and got hard. On this you get the three by doing something special. Pikachu talks on Game Boy. If you have a Game Boy Color it adds some color! Pokemon on Yellow look different than Red & Blue. You still have to trade with Red & Blue to collect 'em all!

I think that this follows the TV Series more than any other one because Pikachu follows you around. They make the game hard at the beginning because lightning is weak against rock and Brock's Pokemon are rock. After that you have to beat several more gym leaders then the Elite Four.

I am a huge pokemon collector, I have the cards, the videos, the DVD's, the N64, the N64 Games, the two Gameboys and all of the english released Gameboy games. Pokemon Yellow come in at the bottom of my pokemon Gameboy games list. This game would be ideal to the "Pikachu" lover, and that would be about it. It is the same as the Blue and Red games except the beginning of Yellow you are given Pikachu, you aren't given the choice - like you are in the Red and Blue Versions. Other than that - the game is fine... (...)
