Great game for serious baseball fans.

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 7 / 7

Unlike some baseball games that let you trade any player for any player, this game matches up thier skill levels and then either approves or doesn't your trade. The three types of seasons (lond, medium, short), home run derby, and world series are all fun. A great buy.

This game is unbeleivable. It has all the stars from a few years ago.Other games dont have players like albert belle or mo vaughn, why because this game was made when they were stars. Now they are retired. This game has many features such as home run derby, season, world series, exhibition, and many more. This is my favorite game on nintendo 64.Nothin beats it.If this game does not catch your attention, then what will???

This is a great game but it lacks some of the most recent features. You can play exibition mode, season mode, world series mode and home run derby. You can only trade players in season mode. You cannot create your own, but o well. The graphics are good, but the game is old. It features 1998 rosters so it isn't up to date. Try it out, It is pretty cool.

Fun, fun, fun!!

This is hands-down the best baseball game I have every played! Play control is fantastic, the stadium renderings are well done, and the teams and players are faithfully recreated (right down to that darn Yankee late-inning magic). Yes, the game is somewhat dated with 1998 rosters and stadiums, but it is nonetheless an amazing game that any baseball fan can spend hours and hours playing.

The ongoing game

This game is one of the greatest games I have ever played. It's great because you never are too good. No matter how much you trade, or how hard you play, you never have 0 losses at the end of the season unless you are a sore looser and turn off the game right fter you win befor the game can save. It's either your bullpen, your pinch hitters, or your starting lineup. If you like baseball, this is the N64 game for you.
The only reson that this game dooesn't get 5 stars, is because sometimes your catches and hits don't always go where they should. Sometimes I don't hit the ball square on the bat, and it's a home run. The very next batter I hit the ball square on the bat, but it doesn't even go half way to the fence. It's the same with the catches. The fielder reaches out his glove to catch the ball, when the ball is about 5 feet away from it, the ball magically disappears into the fielders' glove. I hate it.

This game is excellent. It is second in fun factor to Blitz. It has all the options a baseball nut wants and more. A disappointed KC fan? Fret, no more. The draft option allows you to pick players from different teams, so you can create a lineup of Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, and Ken Griffey Jr. A must buy!

The Better Ken Griffey Jr. Game

This game Ken Griffey Presents Major Leaugue Baseball, rocks. It is much better than Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest. No game can beat it's actionpacked - keep you on your seat game. If you think it's a horrible game because it's old, you wrong. You can throw the much faster, than the other games where it is a ten minute wait, you tell where the pitch is going to be with the cursor, and you can now direct your pitch than just throwing the same ball over again and hoping it's in the strikezone! The only hard part playing is starting the game. The first time you play the game you could beat the pants off anyone! Don't worry about getting the next Tripeplay or MLB game when you could just get one on sale....

Two words: REAL BAD

This game has to be the WORST baseball game I've ever played. The players look nothing like the real ones, they have a very outdated roster and since you can't trade, except in season mode, so you can't update them. The computer cheats! If it's losing by a point, it will hit a 2 run homer so it can win. Here's another example: If the computer needs a run or needs to get on base it will hit a base hit, and even if its a weak one, your fielders thow very slowly and weakly to you. Stats don't matter in this game, it's the size of that doofy yellow circle that looms in the center of the strikezone. If it's small, the player ..., if it's big, the players good. Want another reason why stats don't matter? I've hit a homerun with John Smoltz and a Grand Slam with David Cone. The graphics ... and your very limited to your gameplay. Don't buy this game, you'll be tired of it in an instant!

I've gotta tell you, this game is absolutely great. The only thing(s) wrong are that you can't create a player and there are only about 6 types of batting stances, but who cares. This is a fun game and I have it and what I think is the best part is that you can play a season and this game is actually realistic. Mostly because you don't always hit a homer, there is no cursor that you would have to move either in order to hit it good. But, it's still very easy to hit the ball and you get a homer about every 15 at-bats, unless if you are someone very good, like Griffey, which there is a code in order to hit a homer with him every time. If you want to know, then when Griffey is up to bat, then you press left, left, right, right, right, left, left on the pad before the pitch, he will then point the bat up in the air and if you hit it, it's gone. The computer is very easy at first, but if you want then go to options and change it from rookie to expert. I swear, this game will keep you busy all night long. Just play it.

P.S. I'm not 12, I just accidentally clicked on this, I'm actually 14, just to let you know.
