After reading the reviews and seeing all the people who gave this a bad review I thought I had better make somenthing clear for all you true gamers out there. No there is no plot, But nor does the game claim to have one. The game is simple, get the crystals. But like any good game it starts off simple and gets more difficult as you get better. I hate a game that kills you in the first level before you even have a chance to learn how to play. This game just gets more difficult as you go, perfect. And for the guy that complains about the speed of the tank, he needs to see how fast tanks go in our world, it ain't that fast. If you like strategy that isn't your run of the mill shoot um up then youll like this game.

I wish that I could give this game zero stars because it is just bad! Like another reviewer said this game has no storyline, no action, no FUN! Avoid this game!

It does take a lot of time, there is no music, however Ithought it was sort of fun because you use a lot of strategy. Sure,it might be boring, but if you look at it in a different perspective it is fun. I gave it a 3 because there is some parts in the game that is lame. On one of the levels it was really hard. The one thing about this game is that you can't die.

Stay as far away from this game as you possibly can! It's a waste of precious money. Save it for the upcoming games like Gundam Side Story, Front Mission 3, or Resident Evil Code Name Veronica.

This game doesn't pretend to be anything other than a strategic/action tank shooter. There are no cinemas and no plot other than what is stated in the manual but who needs the soon-forgotten frills when it's all about the GAME? The levels, enemies and weapons all have their own characteristics that will completely involve the player, given the time and patience. You can shoot it out toe to toe or lob artillery shells over valleys and take them by surprise -- very satisfying. This is no arcade shooter and is thus by itself on the Dreamcast. Rent it, buy it.

This game is relly fun on 2 player. One player is kinda fun but the tanks are too slow and there are to many hills. But it has cool weapons. the other problem is on some stages it is hard to see if you look up to shoot flying robots.

I have had this games since it was released and I still play it. Like some of the reviews here I thought it would be an action packed blow-everything-up game. Although there are plenty of things to destroy just rushing in with barrels blazing is a sure fire way to an early death. This is as much a strategy game as it is a shooter. The graphics are good at best. I love the style of the game. Kinda like tanks made out some really cool lego toys. If any of you have played scorched earth, worms,or death tank you'll have sort of an idea what to expect. It's all about well placed shots and vantage points. A few other things I really take away from the games are: free-roam environments. See that mountain in the background? You can drive to it, climb it then roll land mines down onto the enemy. Someone mentioned it was too hard to find or to get the hard to reach crystals. When I see a crystal on a hill that I can't reach I just lob a few mortars up there and the shock wave from the explosion will send it tumbling down. If you like strategy games where you see the enemy base and then use the surrounding terrain to your advantage, this may be a game you will enjoy. I bought mine the first day for $50 and loved it at that price. What a bargain now!
