The 4th addition (or fifth if you count The Lost Artifact) is one of the better ones and comes in second to the fantastic Tomb Raider 2. The gameplay is interesting.
In this game, you are in Egypt and going through tombs and pyramids and such. The first level is a training level when Lara is like 16 or something of that nature. Features:
The most intriguing thing about this game is the ability to pass between the same stages more than once in order to get to another stage. The game offers a great challenge and the graphics are very good. There are minimal glitches. The storyline is incredible. The ending is a great one, also.
Pretty Good

Well, to begin, i liked the thought of actually being Laura Croft. I mean, how exciting?! But, really hard. I got like past 2 or 3 levels and found myself really, inexpressibly stuck. I was like, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NEXT?! So, away went that game for quite a while and i have yet to get back to it for fear of losing absolute faith in myself to play a game and actually win.

This is one of EIDOS best games! It is a really fun game but the training level is really hard. Once done with the traning level it gets much better!! the worst part is dying, but once you start the game its hard to put down!!! This is a great game

When we were shopping for video games, one guy at the store recommended "Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation" saying that it was one of his favorite games. So we immediately purchased this game, in hopes it was another fighting game with jaw-dropping graphics. When we slipped the disc in, I started playing, and it got overly frustrating. The controls are the most annoying part, and Lara's father can't even repeat his directions. I can only pass four of the training levels and that's it! The worst part about it is losing health underwater and starting all over again. The game is challenging, but it is way too hard to master.
Worst Game EVER!

This game is the worst game I have ever played for the Sega Dreamcast. I cant get passed the training level because the controls are so bad. I almost through my controller into the TV because I kept falling off this stupid cliff, because the controls are so terrible. This game is not worth 10 bucks, its not worth crud! Its so so so bad! I hate this game! The controls is equal to the difficulty in moving a live elephant in three circles! Ah, I am so frustrated at this game!
THIS GAME IS TORTURE!

This game isn't really all that fun and even to make it worse the controls aren't really good! So believe me only if you love Lara Croft alot you would love it. I have 1 final thing to say give it a rental so you can see if you like it or not.
a good game that needs a little work

this game is very fun. The plot is excellent and the training level is fun too. My main problem though is that, expecially in the training level, there are so many little things like when he is giving you instructions, you can't skip it, you can't move yourself while he is talking. It's fine the first time, but if you play it again, you still have to watch it over and over. This can be especially annoying for those who have played Tomb Raider games on other platforms before. I still think it's worth the money and I advise buying it. But expect some boring time while he's instructing after your first run through.
Lara is bigger than ever

The best videogame character ever produced is back for the fourth installment in the series. Unlike her previous title, which featured multiple locations, this adventure is set entirely in Eygpt. This allows the game designers to focus on the depth of the levels and put together a more coherent plot. Having visited Egyptian ruins several times, I can vouch that they have really captured the feel of the some of these great monuments.
The graphics are very appealing, with a few visual artifacts appearing occasionally (part of her leg disappearing into the floor, cracks appearing/disappearing in walls) but nothing overly distracting. And the sound is fantastic, making great use of the surround logic. The gameplay has changed somewhat, with different kinds of puzzles, combinable items, far fewer levers and no more push blocks. In my opinion, these do not make the game better or worse, just a little different.
For those of us with both a play station and a dreamcast, it is well worth it to upgrade to the dreamcast version. The difference is graphics is very noticeable. Details are crisper and more pronounced, the sound is clearer and the overall feel of the game is better. A quick comparison would involve Laura's shadow, which is a moving dot on the PSX but it a full fledged reflection on the DC.
