I was in the military for a long while and I went to Iraq and this game was really realistic. everything was perfect. The bad thing was that it was a really short game. It didn't even take me 2 days to beat it. I didn't even play it that long on those days either. So its a renting game. Dont Buy it!!!

Para dejarlo en simples palabras gran juego, el problema del juego es que es muy corto puedes terminarlo en 1 dia si es el caso, mas que todo te servira para jugarlo en linea y subir el nivel para jugar con todo el mundo. En cuanto a gráficos crei que iban a optimizarlo mas para Ps3 y lo dejaron a medias, hubiera sido un exito si se hubieran esforzado mas

I made the mistake of buying COD4 for my PS3 after having played through the PC version (on the same HDTV set). The PS3 graphics are outstanding overall, altough they sometimes appear pixellated, suggesting a mediocre upscale to 1080P from a notably lower resolution. The game itself is intensely fun and engaging, although it suffers from some rigid scripting (i.e. foes spawn, run to and die at the same spot over and over again until the player advances to a certain point. I once found 14 M4 rifles dropped in exactly the same spot and position for this reason) which makes some situations repetitive if the player dies and replays a portion of the game.
A good buy if you don't have a late-generation PC (that version being so much better)

First, let me say that I'm a PC gamer more than a console gamer, but I recently bought this game along with my Playstation 3 40 GB. Also, I tend to enjoy simulations and RPGs more than anything.
After hearing and reading about all the great and positive things about this game, I decided to buy it. I must say I'm not at all that thrilled. Ten minutes into the game, I started to get queasy and felt like I wanted to throw up. It's challenging enough for a new Playstation player who's used to a computer keyboard to handle a SIXAXIS controller, but the gyroscopic camera movements on-screen are also very nauseating! I had to take a dose of PEPTO-BISMOL afterwards. The controls are just very frustrating; I keep running into walls and the floor and the ceiling, and the walls and the ceiling and the floor. Are all FPS games like this?
The graphics are excellent, however. My nephew, who also owns a PS3, is going to be excited when I gladly bequeath this to him.

This game is probably the best for the PS3. My friends all have bought this and we play against each other online, that game is addictive. The only bad thing about it is that sometimes you get kicked out of the online rooms due to connection interruption. All in all, this is a MUST HAVE game for a PS3 gamer. It's fast and furious.

I also have an xbox 360 and played Halo but this blows it away IMHO. Best game I've played in a long time.

When i heard about Call Of Duty 4 I was totally uninterested because a fourth WWII game seemed incredibly unoriginal. This is a whole new game that keeps the great things from 1,2 and 3 and adds new modern elements that are just awesome. I could play the multiplayer mode all day.

Well, what can I say that these people haven't? I love the game,regardless if I'm playing single player or online. It has a great (albeit short single player campaign), amazing online play, great looking graphics, top notch voice acting, and it keeps you on edge. I can't really say enough about this game. The online portion is extremely addicting and offers a lot of reasons to keep playing. Buy it today!!
