THIS IS PURE FUN!!!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 1 / 5

I bought this game and really didn't get a chance to play it until I had a few friends over. It kept us playing for hours. It's graphics are great! I don't have any complaints about this game at all. In fact, you can take boxers that you train yourself to fight on other game consoles by saving them. I would say that this is a must buy!

The Best Since Punchout!!!!!!

Ready two Rumble is the best boxing game since punchout. It's character developers must have really worked hard to do such a fine job. The graphics are so detailed that you sometimes wonder if your playing the real thing. Muscles flex, faces move, and the punches cause real damage. this game is a good enough reason to by dreamcast as any. So go pick up a copy and "get ready to rumble"

A great TWO-player game!

R2R Boxing is a very fun two player game... maybe the best "party game" out so far for the Dreamcast. The boxers have great character, look beautiful, animate smoothly, and (most importantly) control perfectly. A five-star game, right? Wrong, because...

As a one-player game, the computer's pathetic AI ruins the fun. A loss to the computer is rare, and the march through the bronze, silver, and gold (equal to easy, medium, and hard) divisions quickly becomes mind-numbingly boring. For single-players, this is a two-star game.

If you know you'll often have human opposition, get this game immediately. If not, avoid... there are too many other superior one-player games out there.

This is one of the best fighting games.

This is one of the best games that I've ever played. It kept me busy for hours. It's graphics are incredible. It's incredible the amount of detail in facial features. For example when someone is punched in the eye they have a black eye for the rest of the match and the views make it so much more fun. You can fight in a view from the first players eyes and look at the second player or vice versa. I would have to say that this is a game that should be on anyones list of games to buy.

Amazing boxing game with excellent graphics

This is a must own game for your Dreamcast owners. The graphics are will worth the price of the game. The game playing is quite decent. I have yet to see a game on the PS or N64 to match the graphic detail of this game.

I bought this game when I first bought the system because I couldn't find Soul Calibur anywhere. Boy was I surprised. At first glance, it looks kinda silly. In reality, that is where half the fun comes from. I found the gameplay to be challenging. You can't just button mash and win. The graphics are incredible. They aren't as flashy as Soul Calibur, but the wonderful texturing and little details (damage) put it on a similar level in my eyes.

Fun Packed

Good but it could have been 10 time better

The graphics will surely win over your sega-bashing friends but the gameplay needs work. You are not rewarded for getting 6 letters b/c as soon as you power up, your opponent can run away backwards. As for the the single player championship mode, it's not that good because special moves were taken out so you are limited to some really boring fights. Major dissapointment :(

A good start-off game

When the Nintendo 64 came out on the shelves, Super Mario 64 was THE game to get, kind of like a game to get you acquainted with the nintendo 64 controller and the console itself. Now the dreamcast is here, and this game "Ready 2 Rumble Boxing" is the best game to start off with. This is the best to game to get you to understand the controller a little better, as well being a part of the great graphics of Dreamcast. IF you are already acquainted with the system, than anyone who likes boxing should LoVe this game. With its' hard knocking punnches and super fast movements. This game definately is a lot better than Knockout Kings 2000 for Nintendo 64 and I recommend this game highly.

if you do happen to buy this game, beware, it freezes, a WHO

i've had this game 3 time.Everyone i bought proceeded to work only if i opened the dc's cd door and insert the game while the unit was on. Then after about 5 minutes of play it would promptly freeze up and stay that way. The bootom line only get this game if you know yours isn't screwed up.
