This game is an uncontrollable mess. If you know anything at all about video games you will regret buying this. Try a real racing game like 4 Wheel Thunder ... now there's a GAME!

The worst thing I did was buy this game. I should of had rented it but I didnt. TAKKE MY ADVICE, DO NOT BUT THIS GAME. There are no graphics, there is no good sound, and also the cars are so small. I made this mistake, dont let this happen to you.

An interesting racing game indeed. Few companies have tried making games with the feel of an RC car. This game accomplished it well. It feels just like the real thing (I know, I still play with them myself). There are a TON of cars to choose from, all with different characteristics. With some of the faster cars, you may find yourself moving faster than the frame-rate can keep up, but its pretty minor. The only problem I had was the computer intelligence. Any of you that have seen advertisements for the Dream Cast have heard the slogan "it's thinking" as well. This means that the computer has learned your play tactics and uses different techniques to stop you. In this particular game, the cars become too smart after a while and the game becomes less fun, and more challenging. This is a plus to some and a minus to others. Overall, a good, fun, addictive game. But rent before you buy.
Not that great!

I got this as a gift and I must say that the graphics are cool but the gameplay take a lot out of the game. The controls are pretty hard to master but there are a ton of cars to choose from. All in all, had I bought this myself and not gotten it as a gift I woulda been upset.

ReVolt is an average racing game. The graphics are better than the PSX & N64 versions, but pale in detail and frame rate to the PC version. The controls are waaay too loose also. It's nothing spectacular.
Overall, a good game

Controls are a little wierd at first. Once you realize that you're driving an RC car and not a rally car, you're a lot better off... This game is ok for single player, and pretty good for 4 player. 2 and 3 player modes are ok if everyone has played several times before and knows how to play. Newbiee tend to complain a lot about the controls and the 'complecated' maps.

This game seems like a fun, family game, but is fact a (usually) serious RC car simulation, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Still, you must know that the game is difficult and requires practice. New players can't simply pick up a control and do well in a multiplayer race.
Otherwise, this would be a perfect game. The graphics are amazing, even by today's standards, and the tracks are wonderfully inventive - everything you've ever wanted to do with RC cars, you will do in this game. You can also design your own tracks. There are courses for multiplayer battles and tricks. Finally, the one positive aspect of the game's difficulty is that you will find plenty of depth. Not a bad choice for the price.

Excellent game. It takes time to master, but the graphics and responses of the car are very realistic. It is also fun and challenging since there are various courses and cars to be unlocked.

This game is a blast! It's got a huge variety of tracks and cars, weapons and other power-ups for an exciting twist, and plenty of game modes (single race, championship, practice, stunt track, head-to-head race, and battle tag) to keep you hooked.
My friend and I played it the night I bought it, and we soon latched on to "Battle Tag" as our game of choice. Your goal is to find a hidden star, and then evade your opponent(s) for a total of two minutes. But if an opponent finds you and tags you, the chase reverses. Up to four players can compete in any of the multi-player modes. Shooting bottle rockets and water balloons at your friends really adds to the fun of the chase.
The background music is totally addictive. We found ourselves turning the volume up louder and louder as the game went on.
The tracks and battle arenas are what really set this game apart. Race through neighborhood streets, a toy store, a supermarket, a ghost town, and more. And when you're taking on computer opponents, you WILL end up on the losing end of some well-placed oil slicks and a rocket or two.
The controls are pretty tight, but don't be intimidated. Remember, you're supposed to be controlling an R/C car - it's not easy. But it's well worth the patience as you learn to slide through the turns and jump off ramps and curbs.

ReVolt is one of the best games I've seen in years. The graphics are amazing, just enough challenge to make it fun and the courses are great...Toytanic? Toys in the Hood? Grrreat! Lots of great cars too, each has its own personality.
