I bought this game with no clue how good it was.IT ROCKS!!!!You can duel any duelist from the show-in time. In the beginning,try typing in the codes from your cards with the password screen.*HINT*A good card combo is Cyberstein and Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Good luck!!! and buy this!!!

I know, the show is quite idiotic, but if you collect Yu-Gi-Oh cards, then you can insert them into the game. Also, you duel guys from the show like Yugi and friends. things happen on special dates, a day passes for every duel you play. When you win, you get a free booster pack with some bad cards in it. Overall, this game is great! That's all for now exept that Kuriboh rules and I want a game cube.

This game is sooooo cool!!! I got this a few months ago and i'm still hooked on it! You start out with five duelists ( Yugi and his friends and then if you beat them numerous times you get another set o' duelists and then another and ...... Well this game is great!! It follows all the rules of duel mosters and a whole bunch of cards! You can even duel and trade cards with your friends! You can also imput your own cards into the game by using a password located at the bottom left of your cards. Overall i give this game 5 stars! Konami deserves it!

At first I only wanted it because I beat Dark Duel Stories 100 times,but this game must be at least 1,000,000 times better than what I wanted. Enternal Duelist Soul, unlike Dark Duel Stories, doesn`t have a bunch of made up cards. In edition, the duels are more like the TV show, the duelists are harder to beat, and basicly, this game is BELBALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTU!!! (some word I had to make up just to discribe this game`s coolness)

This game is the best!...It is the best game i have ever played. I spent hours at a time playing it. I only stopped to go to school, eat, and sleep. Yu-gi-oh Eternal Duelist Soul is awsome. It's got 5 star graphics,and a 5 star fun rating. The extra parts that were in D.D.S. hit me in the head when I played E.D.S. I put relinquished
in my deck and WHAM! I hit my self on the head because you needed the ritural in the deck. It's a great game for Yu-gi-oh fans who play the card game with full rules.

Not all cards are in the game.

As being new to the Duel Monsters game, I purchased this with the hope of learning the game. The big selling point to me was that you can enter your own cards into the gameboy game so you can practice with your own cards.
I was quickly disappointed to learn that not all the cards are in the game. The newest Yugioh deck out called Pharos Servant does have all its cards listed in this gameboy game and therefore will hinder new duelists from proper practice.
Over all it's a great game, and teaches you well. However that one flaw really hurts it.

This game is the best! It is just like the card game but not the TV show. As a duelist, you pick an Initial Deck and duel people from the show. And if you're lucky enough to own some cards, then you could type the 8-digit password from the cards so you could use them in the game. There is a calendar which tells you the date. There are some events marked by the calendar, such as a tournament and magazine subscription. So whether you're a young kid or adult, try this game and you won't be dissapointed.

This game is the best! now you can help unlock the secrets of the duel monsters game that has becom a major hit! This takes the game to a whole nother demension with awesome 3D graphics that are sure to blow your mind! Unlike dark duel stories this has a higher level of strategy with tough oppenets and official rules that you play at home. After each battle you win you can choose a booster pack and you get more booster packs to choose from as the game progresses1 it also has a calander so that after a certian amount of duels you can get yugioh weekly, yugioh magazine for cards, and weekend duel for rare cards! All in all I give this game 2 thumbs up!

A real good game to get if you are into yu-gi-oh.

When i got dark duel stories, i played it for about three months because it was the best game yu-gi-oh game i had, except the actual card game.When eternal duelist soul came out, i got it almost immediately. I don't really like the cards it came with, but the game is better than any other yu-gi-oh game out because it is just like the real card game.You have a choice of over 900 cards to choose to put in your deck. The other games had less than 750 and you could only put 40 cards in a deck, but now you can put 80, 60 in the main and 20 fusion. If you plan on buying a yu-gi-oh game, buy this one because it takes a lot more strategy to win. So beleive in the "heart" of the cards and you will be victorious.
