If you loved this game in the arcade version, then if you own a Sega Dreamcast your more than going to enjoy this take-home version of the game. Good Graphix, Good Physics, and Good Variety make for hours of fun for the Dreamcast Version of this arcade great.

Simply, this is one of the best acrade style racing games ever made. Don't be put off because it is boats. If you like the feel of Arcade Racing games that are over the top with hidden paths and speed this one is for you.

Must Have Racer for Dreamcast

This is almost arcade perfect. The speed and enjoyment of this racer is almost unmached by today's racers STILL (BurnOut 3 & Revenge are in my mind the only better). A MUST HAVE for Dreamcast owners.

There are more than 3 tracks

This game has 13 tracks. You start the game with 3 tracks which are easy level, but after you beat those 3, then the others become selectable.

There are also 13 boats which become selectable after beating each track. Although 4 of those 13 boats are very difficult to obtain on one player mode. They are however easy to obtain on two player mode.

Awful

I cannot believe how terrible this game is. With it's increidibly long load times and impossible difficulty, this game is something that will just collect dust on your shelf. I guess the graphics are a bit superior to other games, as well as the fact that there is plenty of eye candy make for a good visual feast, but everything else is awful.

Great game!

I don't know much about gaming, but this is a great game. Graphics, sounds, controls. The courses start out easy, and then gradually get harder. However, I think I like the "Bonus Tracks" better than the Hard ones. The hard ones are hard! It's great for adults and kids. My 6 year old son has a great time and can, sometimes, beat me.
Either way, it's fun for both of us!

The best water racing game since Wave Race 64!

This game gets my vote as the best non-SEGA arcade racing game to ever make a home conversion. What do you have? A PERFECT recreation of an awesome arcade game, complete with Soul Calibur quality graphics, sweet controls, crystal clear sound, and awesome arcade gameplay. Of course the best thing about this game is that you won't have to insert any quarters time and again in order to unlock all the awesome hidden vehicles and tracks. It DOES get hard later on, but isn't that what an arcade game is supposed to do?

Perhaps the only real problem with this game is that the interface needed a little more work. If this game let you restart a track from the pause menu instead of backing all the way out to the main menu, it would have been perfect. As it is, it's an awesome, awesome arcade conversion that arcade racing fans should definitely not miss.

You can only race three tracks

The first three tracks are fun and there are secret passages in all the tracks to earn more boosters so you can go faster. Some of the boats are hard to steer, but the only problem you will have is you are suppose to clear the first three tracks by third place in order to open the other tracks. It is impossible to place third on two of the tracks even through the secret passages, which are also short cuts. I played this game the first time at an arcade place and I loved it. It was played so many times that all the tracks were available to race in and those other tracks were alot more fun, than the first three. After having owned this game for 5 years, these tracks are getting a little old to race over and over again.

I love this game

Except for having to start over at the beginning menu each and every time at the end of a race, I really love this game. The graphics are spectacular, the boats are all different and handle differently. Easily addictive.
