i paid $50 for nothing

this game is not even worthy of the need for speed title. this game sucks, the graphics are horrid compaired to hot pursuit, the best car is a 350z (35k bux) compair that to a mcclairen from nfshp,and the courses are all the same. let me break this game down. cars. in this game you start with a neon or a miata. i found this really stupid because a neon is worth 10k or less and the miata is worth 30k+. you work your way up by buying new cars and parts. what sucks about that is you can keep any begining car and have upgraded to the same level as the cars you later unlock. i used a lancer and stuck with it the whole time. this is a huge mistake because a neon will not out perform a 350z. all of the cars are the kind that are cheep and seen every where. this makes you aprutiate some these cars better (as i have with the lancer) but in nfshp2 you start off with an elise and work up to 300k cars. this game neede a viper an m5 a 67' gto, and a 65' mustang. these cars SUCK!!!!!!!!!! 1.5 of 5 drive the driving is just as bad the cars seem to be standing still as the track rolls past you. the back grounds are all the same so they cant even make that look good. having the cops would have been awesome because i live in dc i know that street racing is ilegel. this would have made the game alot more worth while.2 game the game does have a good thing or two though. the new modes drift and drag are cool because you actually feel the cars. the game has 100+ races so it lasts awhile but after 40 i started to dread playing this game. 2 ugghhhhh........

well.. if you are a street racing and a car tuning fan, then i guess this is a must for u.
has many extra features, i loved the best part where you can customise your car to pump out a lot more hp to burn some serious rubbuer. good car control, and reasltic graphics has some good effect. however, car control is not as responsive in the drag route.

This game is the best. The graphics are extremly good. The floor sometimes looks like water thought. Many cars to choose from. That includes the Nissan Skyline and Honda S2000. There are many choses to upgrade your car with. You can buy neon, NOS, bumpers, side skirts, engine upgrades, Rims and much more. Buy the game to find out what they look like.

Needs Better Cars For Speed

The game and graphics were pretty darn good but they need a better choice of cars. This game would have gotton 5 stars if I could drive a 1969 Hemi'cuda, or any other good car (cars made from real metal, hence, made in the '60's). But over all worth $18.00.

No Cockpit View No Replay No Damage Again

I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Everything is great about this one except for three things. And, unfortunately, these three things bring the complete sim downihll and make it NOT worth purchasing.

Even after the thousands of emails to EA about the loss of replays and cockpit view in the past Need For Speed titles, they still failed to ipmlement it in Underground. You can check futther reviews right here on Amazon to see the posts on previous titles about these very items missing. This title is missing such key parts of the sim that it will take a slow downfall in ratings until EA gets the act together. These were all available in Porsche Unleashed and previous version.

The sad thing is, everything is great, but no way to continue using the sim without these key, absolutely necessary, features.

Great game for the pc.
I am very satisfied with this game.
This game is mostly about upgrading your
vehicle and unlocking new features as you race.
Please keep that in mind.
I would have liked to seen some type of
damage happen to the vehicles. But,
sound effects, graphics and music are great.
I don't play games as much as most people.
But, this game is definetly worth buying
for any age.

Need For Speed Underground is SICK!

This is the best game I have ever played on any console or computer. Its sound, music, graphics, and gameplay are so fresh and original. You can choose your own kind of car, and then add the parts of your choice (NOS, rims, body kits, paint jobs, engine improvements, decals, etc) at your own will! You can do whatever you want in this game. I am blown away by the graphics. It is so realistic. If you saw and liked the movie The Fast and the Furious, or just like tricked out cars, or you like any racing games, then this is for you!

This a great game if you like to drive fast cars. You can pass and get different tracks and your skill is improving while you are winning reputation.
The scenes are inside many places in a city (at night) and you can get new cars and customize them.
Only one Con: You don't have police cars behind you, maybe this reduces your emotion inside the game.
