Lets face it, WOC sucked. Luckily, CNK, released fall 2003, was good. One year later, Twinsanity came out and it saved the series. It was one of the best games of the year. It was fun to play as Crash, Cortex, and Nina. This game gives me high hopes for Crash Tag Team Racing, which will be released soon.

Well, I think the ol' two big people that make they're review aren't right(they suck very much). You don't know what a game is!
Twinsanity is the whole next generation!Crash,Cortex,Nina - a whole new gameplay!
Well 2:Cortex Strikes back,Warped too - are good for a 3d classical action-advanture game too.CTR , CNK an' The Wrath of Cortex REALY ,REALY , REALY STINK!That's right I hate 'em!Oh , and don't forget the first one , it's annoyng.
I'm maybe nine, but I know what a game is.I have all the Crash series for PS one and two.
I like Twinsanity.
Questions:
1.Is N-Tranced a 3D game?
2.Wouldn't it be cool in a Crash 3D game to explore the "Infinite World of Dimensions".?
3.Wouldn't it be cool in a Crash 3D game to have a story about one of the bad guys(N. Cortex ,Nina ,N. Brio ,N. Tropy etc.)?
4.Can someone download some of the wallpapers in "Crash Bandicoot Europe dot com"?'Couse I can't.

I think this game was refreshing after Crash Bash and CTR. It's kind of similar to the first Crash Bandicoot, only brighter. The music is HORRIBLY irritating, but you can turn the background music down and still have the sound effects on. So it's no problem. There are lots of areas etc. There are some questionable choices the programmers made, like the kind of blue, off-color comments made by the game..mentioned by the other folks here. But the game is really fun. When one family member can't get through an area, another often can..so my 8 and 4 year old loved it, so did dh and I. If you can get it on sale, get it. If not, I'd say it's worth maybe $30 but not $50 unless you have money to blow. We rented it twice and got to 50% already.
Well it started out fun....

Ok, I don't have alot to say about this game because I couldn't for the life of me get past the second level. The beginning level is fun and the new 3D world is amazing - and it's got everything you love about crash - all kinds of places to explore - however - after you defeat the 1st boss you are "fighting" with cortex and you are rolling down a large slide type thing for what seems forever - you can't control yourself very well and you gotta try to jump platforms while rolling around on the ground - and then when you get to this alien ship and beat all them things - the level is STILL not over - then you gotta beat this giant drill - and I kept dying - after I lost all my lives - I had to redo the level and just could not get past it - One of my friends and I took turns and we tried for about 2 hours AND I am not a beginner in the gaming world, I've been playing crash & spyro since their beginnings and I'm a diehard final fantasy player so If I couldn't get past it.... anyways - I don't think this game is a good purchase unless you can get past level 2 - if you do let me know - I recommend renting before buying.
I don't know why others don't LOVE THIS!!

Crash: Twinsanity is a disappointment? I didn't think so. I will agree with one thing other reviewers have commented on. The music IS VERY ANNOYING/STUPID/HOKEY/MAKES YOU WANT TO TURN THE SOUND OFF, and sure gameplay can get HARD in parts, but that is part of the fun! The levels I have played take 5+ times to finally get through to complete, but at least they make you use your brain. Twinsanity even gives you tips at the bottom of the screen when you encounter a new enemy giving you a clue of what to do to accomplish the next obstacle/boss!
My favorite level so far is when Cortex has a swarm of bees around his head, and you have to make a path for him through an obstacle course of nitros, spikes, and general hoodoo! Vivendi Universal, the producer of this game, has some beautiful minds working there. Levels are colorful (check out the shrooms, and slime in some levels!) and the 3-d environment is a good idea for the newest Crash adventure. Crash 1,2,and 3 were AWESOME as well in their 2.5d environment, but there is so much more detail in this (Obviously being on PS2). I think this game is a riot, is a great party game, and usually I play games like Call of Duty, the Medal of Honors, Black, RE4, Metal Gear Solid, and offroad racing!
If you want a game that is a challenge, and want a change of pace to something more comical and lighthearted and fun, give this a try. Like I said, this is not my normal category of game I pursue, but it is GOOD!

Crash Twinsanity is fun during the first couple of hours of gameplay, but gets a little repetitive and lacks the adventurous feel in the past Crash games. Twinsanity has a long interesting story, with more humorous parts than boring ones. This game pulls itself most of the way with dull ideas on how to continue the game, like Crash and Cortex having to go to a haunted school to get Nina Cortex to fix their time machine. It's also very frustrating throughout the boss levels. And the game overs never end, like going through a level and end up with one life left at the end, and you die, and have to start all over on the level. The world checkpoints, which are where you begin after a game over, are either too spread out, or are not sufficent enough in the levels. Overall Twinsantity has its laughs but is a little to insane for the average gamer. I got this game mostly because I'm a Crash fan.

The controls are simply inexcusable for a game made in 2004. You will find yourself dying a hundred times simply because Crash will do a slide when you are just simply trying to duck. As a result you will find yourself sliding over the edge and dying. You will also find yourself dying because Crash will stand up when he is supposed to be ducking meeting an untimely death. You will find yourself bewildered as you know that you kept the button pressed so there should be no reason for him to stand. I can guarantee you this, you will be cursing every swear word in the dictonary and wanting to throw your controller down and stomping on it like Crash would against his opponents.
This game is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best Crash game for PS2, The gameplay is fine, it's not hard except for the end, and it's just so fun. I love the new charcters, the old charcters look more awsome. The level design is cool. You have to play this game,if you could somehow get it, I'd check it out, and it's still fun to play.

LOL means "Laugh out loud" to those who don't know internet terms well; and this game caused me to do so... a lot! I had just finished commenting on another Crash game when I remembered fondly of this one. I haven't played with it in ages (I completed it a long time ago) but it's still a great game nevertheless. I was attracted to it by it's comedy; I love games where the villain gets a taste of his own medicine! It's true, Cortex suffers quite a bit this time around: you can throw him at enemies (when Crash and Cortex are together), use him as a skate/snowboard, get into rolling brawls with him, or just listen to him scream as bees and other annoyances chase him. It's not all about Crash and Cortex together, though; sometimes you control Cortex alone, as you blast obstacles with his gun (becareful, though; running out of ammo makes him defenseless and cowardly). Other times you control Crash alone in an old school style. Other times still, you can control my favorite female villain, and Cortex's evil animal-loving niece, Nina. However, you don't see hardly any of Coco other than a few cameo appearances. The game can be difficult (it took me a couple of weeks to complete it) and you feel kind of cheated when you do complete it (all you get for 100% completion is a two minute clip) but it's still worth it. This game is strictly for comedy; it makes a mockery of almost every character in Crash's universe. It does compromise other gameplay elements, but, to me, it's worth buying and playing just for the laughs! The music's good; it's old fashioned, but there's nothing wrong with that. Overall, I think it's worth the price.
