Fun, but had to buy new microphones for the game!

The girls LOVE this game; however our Singstar microphones aren't compatible. I ended up buying the PS2 Boogie game & microphone bundle so we'd have a mic that worked (and it made more sense to pay an extra $10. for the bundle).

I bought this item for my 8 year old and it is so much fun. She loves it! I played along with her and before you knew it, a couple hours had gone by!! A true test of how "time flies when you're having fun". There are many song choices to sing from and as you progress in the game, you can unlock other songs as well. I think it's fun for any age as long as there is interest in singing.

I purchased this for my 16 year old niece. she seemed to like it however, we tried playuing it as a group on New Years, and It was confusing how to play with more than 1 person, and the group got bored after a few songs. I think we needed to learn more how to use the game

My daughter wanted a Karaoke machine for Christmas and after looking at many options we decided to go with this item. I am so glad we did. She is 11 yrs old and she has had a blast playing this with her friends and even the whole family. I think regular karaoke would be boring for her because it does not have the element of the judges and competition. There are additional songs to "unlock" so there is an added bonus of things to work for. I would highly recommend this item. It is lots of fun.

I got this game for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. The entire family has played it and had a blast. I think the younger ones would enjoy it more if there were a few more current songs to choose from. Most of the songs were those I grew up listening to (I graduated in the 80s), so I had no problem jumping right in and singing. For the younger kids, the selections were more limited. Also, if you have a child who gets his/her feeling hurt easily, they won't like this game because the judges can be pretty brutal. My daughter, who wants to be a country singer, teared up the first time she faced the judges. My friend's son also has this game and he won't play it because the judges hurt his feelings.

After singing karaoke for many years i decided to have a party and i notice they had this karaoke game so i bought 3 weeks later friends and family got together and we had a blast we can play morning til night, i recommend this game to anyone who likes to sing. BUY IT BUY IT NOW
