My kids and all of their friends absolutely love this game. The songs are current and the judges are quite realistic - for example, if you mess up the end of a song, they respond with that type of comment - they love it when you're good, tell you that you're horrible when you are, etc.
Better than Karaoke Revolution.
It's school vacation week and my younger 9 year old daughter and 3 friends have been playing it for hours.
We brought it to our ski house and 10 kids played it in competition with eachother. Then the adults got hold of it and loved it too.

awsome game worth every penny (and i'm a cheapskate) lots of fun - the songs are redone by other artists - if you want originality then pick up singstar (which is also awsome)

This game is a lot of fun. The criticism from the judges, especially Randy and Simon, is hilarious. The only thing I hate is they replaced Paula with "Laura". I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes to karaoke and loves American Idol!!!

Lots of fun. Simon and Randy look so real. Makes me feel like I was really an "American Idol! The eye Camera is also a fun addition.

My Kids absolutly love playing this and a great source of entertainment went they have friends over. Sometimmes they sing badly just to hear Randy and Simon giving them bad reviews.

I would have liked the DDR included as an option just like the KR Party. Best song choices and the added commentary is pretty funny. We also liked earning some of the video clips from the show. I wish there were more characters to choose from. It seems that the level of the song is now correlated to your score so if you pick a hard song and your at the easy level your score may not be as high if you picked an easier song. Our family thinks this is the funnest KR yet partly because we know all of the songs fairly well. I think because it is the American Idol version.

I like this game, the only drawback for me is that Paula Abdul is not judging the American Idol contest portion of the game. You have Simon, Randy, and someone named Laura. Also some of the comments they make don't fit together. Overall though I really enjoy it and would recommend it especially to anyone who likes the other Kareoke Revolution games.

We have had hours of fun with this so far. My kids and I love to compete against each other and see what "Simon has to say" about our performance. We really like the duet part of it. Make sure you have two microphones.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter (who is an accomplished singer) and she and her friends have a blast with it. Even the friends whose voices are less than spectacular are able to enjoy singing along and seem to do pretty well.
My daughter particularly enjoyed the real Idol audition snippets and the comments from the judges.
I ended up buying her both the microphone (which is NOT included in all packages) plus the headset so that both she and a friend could sing at the same time.
Overall, this is a good game with a nice selection of songs but do watch out for the extra expense of adding microphones or headsets.
