This game is contributing to the downfall of our society. How can we live in a world where our youth grow up idolizing an individual who stands for the rampant stereotype of jobless over glamorized women who's sole form of income is being popular? I understand that your young preteen girls truly enjoy Hannah Montana, but maybe it would be a good idea to steer your kids away from this kind of maligned influence.
P.S. As a studying game designer, the game itself is also terrible. Kids only enjoy it because it has Hannah Montana slapped all over it. It is an overly simplified version of stolen gameplay mechanics that are executed extremely poorly. I beg of you out of fear for humanity to not buy this game.

I was quite excited about my new Hannah Montana game on Christmas Eve. Though truly fun, I believed that the Hannah Spirt was ripped out of the game completely. I will tell you the pros and cons of this game below:
Cons:
Just like the Title of my Review. Nothing new
Controls are horrible. I move left, they call it missed
I don't feel anything like a Pop Star. I feel like a mime doing a bad imatation in front of nobody but dust.
The people look NOTHING like the people on the show. A 20 foot tall robot with a Light-up beeper that reads "I'm a Robot!!!" Right on their chest in disguise as the people from Hannah Montana, the show is more believable than the ones in this game.
The "zing" of the game dies down after the first 2 concerts. I was bored even before the shopping ended in NY!
I have many more, but to save time, I'm not going to say everything.
Pros
You get to dress Hannah
Sign Autographs
Gain fans
Shop
and
concerts.
If you don't mind same old same old do over lifestyle, stick to this.
If you prefer the usual but with a twist each day, go check out Rayman Raving Rabbids.
Looking for a game better than this? Try out the game of Super Mario Galaxy if you really want a global Tour

This game is HORRIBLE! Shame on the person who created it and put little to no effort in. It only sells because of the name. And people like my sister who purchased it for my daughter might as well just throw $50 out the window. Now we will take this game that is a week old and see what we can get from Game stop! If I were Hannah Montana I would be ashamed to have my name attached to this product. Shame on wii!

My 8-year-old cousin has this game and plays it often, but only because it's the only wii game that is just hers. She showed it to me, and while discussing it with her, she mentioned a lot of problems with the game that really ruined the experience for her. First and foremost, she was frustrated that the game based on her favorite singer had no interactive singing element involved, which I found strange considering the karaoke games that are already available. She also complained that some of the "dance moves" were difficult if not impossible to perform because the sensor seemed to base them on the height of a teenager (for example, for the hands-on-heart move, she would have to put her hands up to her neck or face to have any luck with them registering). The controls during the shopping segments were frustrating, and she found the cut scenes and voice-overs silly and annoying. This game seems to take advantage of the show's devoted fanbase by delivering a mediocre product that will sell nonetheless. If this game did not have the Hannah Montana franchise behind it, I doubt it would sell.
In her words: "I thought I wanted to be a super star, but not after this."
would change rating if I could

We had problems at first but figured it out after I wrote my original review, but now I can't change my rating.
My DDs (7 & 4) love this game. It seemed very easy to beat to me, but even after doing the entire world tour they still want to play it every day.
This game stinks!!!!!!!!

I hate this game! It is no fun at all! I got this for christmas, but now I know I shouldn't have asked for it. The only thing you can do is dance and shop, and I know that might sound fun, but it's not! There is not much clothing that you can buy, and very few concert places to perform at. I finished this game in probably 5 hours(not straight). Please Wii games cost to much to waste your money on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My girls (ages 7 and 11) were very disappointed in this Wii game. It is only for learning dance moves and they feel the dance moves are not very creative nor fun. It was also not very exciting for them when they won the next level. They liked the High School Musical Sing It Bundle with Microphone a lot more and they can do more with the High School Musical game.
Hannah Montana: yes. This game: not so much.

Purchased this game for 8 y.o. girl who is in the Hannah Montana demographic. Hannah Montana has a lot of appeal and marketability, but this game does not capitalize on that. Activities include taking Hannah on a virtual shopping spree and mimicking Hannah's activities on stage. Boring....This game desperately needs a karaoke or sing-along feature and/or a "Dance, Dance Revolution" type of activity to make it worthwhile and appealing. I predict my child will tire quickly of this game or choose other games (video or non-video) before falling back to this as an option of last-resort. Too bad, as it was expensive.
Good game for young girls

Good game for young girls. Definitely not an adult game. Can dance and shop with Hannah. What else would a little girl want to do?
it is entertaining, but not forever

this game is one of those, "developed to sell the name" type games. Hannah Montana name that is. It lets you shop, hear songs, and 'dance' (meaning you move the wiimote in synch with the screen icons). The kids like it well enough for the gold box price ($29.99 with s/h) so I don't feel totally ripped off, but no way would I pay full price for it. It certainly will not last beyond a few days of initial play, then just here and there beyond that. Worth getting if you're girl loves HM, but get a sale or wait it out!
