Wow, what fun! The girls loves this. It's not only Hannah Montana, but there's exercise involved and the girls don't even realize it. With all the moving and dancing, it's great!
girls just love this game

if your child loves Hannah Montana they will love this game...Hannah travels around to concerts and you get to act out all her moves. you also get to dress her and buy stuff. The only downside is that until you master all the moves you can't go on to another location and song so you may hear the same song (ie Best of Both Worlds) over and over and over!!!!

I wasn't sure about this game and only bought it because it was on sale, but I was pleasantly surprised. My girls (11 and 13 years old) have the Hannah Montana DS game and only played with it a few hours and declared it "boring". But they really like this game. It has a lot of dancing (which they love) and the Hannah music and dressing Hannah up. Its one of their favorite games still after about 2 months! I would say this game is best for ages 7-13. Its WAY too hard for my advanced 4 year old.
EASY AND FUN

Just purchased this Hannah Montana Game for $18.50 on sale at ToyRUS. It is easy to play. You have to perform at concerts, and then earn points to purchase clothing and shoes. I have a girl with a short attention span, and she just played it for hours. If she can stay still and play for hours, then it's a hit cause she rarely ever stays still. The boys wanted to play, but she said, no it's mine. Too funny!
Good game with decent variety and few flaws

I am writing this review based on my 7-year old daughter's use of the game and my involvement when she needs my help. Initially this game proved very frustrating for her, as the Wii controls just never seem to be accurate enough to understand what you're doing, and sometimes the indicated on-screen action is not clear enough. It takes some time to find the exact motion that works for the indicated motion. So early on, this resulted in a lot of frustration for everybody.
After two or three tries, however, things started to change. Once my daughter figured out the motions, she actually started enjoying the "dance" sequences. This game is nothing more than a rhythm game, with the exception that, instead of button mashing, you replicate the indicated motions that appear on-screen. The better your timing, the better your score, and the more fans and money you earn. Some of the movements are tightly timed, requiring extremely quick transitions from one hand to the other. However, this is good because I think it teaches young children eye-to-hand coordination, forces them to look ahead to the next several movements, and teaches them a bit about timing and rhythm. There are also harder difficulties.
The music in the game is excellent. You play along with the actual studio recordings of the songs, and the sound quality is near-CD quality. Most of the voice-acting appears to be "sound-alikes" and not the actual performers from the show, although in some cases it is difficult to tell. There are some interesting cut-scenes between the cities you visit, which include some of the same campy comedy present in the show, and even a laugh-track. The computer-animated performances are interesting to watch. Even my wife watches the "performances" as my daughter plays.
The game includes a shopping component which integrates with the back-stage activities and performances. Whatever is purchased from the stores can be worn by Hannah in the game, even during the performances. The only thing I don't agree with -- everything costs the same, exactly "one shopping bag", which I refer to as "a dollar". Everything costs the same, from earrings to jeans, but I think it would be a better idea if things cost different amounts, to force young minds to "budget". The game makes it too easy to buy everything. This is my only complaint about the game.
Overall, this is a good game for young girls. It passes the time, gets them moving, and teaches them a thing or two about coordination and rhythm. For the cost, it will be a welcome addition to your Wii collection, and should have substantial replay value for quite some time.
My daughter loves it.

Very cute game and it keeps my 7 yr. old entertained. She loves it. But then, what 7 yr. old girl wouldn't? It is Hannah Montana after all.

I hate this game! It is no fun at all! I got this for christmas, but now I know I shouldn't have asked for it. The only thing you can do is dance and shop, and I know that might sound fun, but it's not! There is not much clothing that you can buy, and very few concert places to perform at. I finished this game in probably 5 hours(not straight). Please Wii games cost to much to waste your money on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hannah Montana: yes. This game: not so much.

Purchased this game for 8 y.o. girl who is in the Hannah Montana demographic. Hannah Montana has a lot of appeal and marketability, but this game does not capitalize on that. Activities include taking Hannah on a virtual shopping spree and mimicking Hannah's activities on stage. Boring....This game desperately needs a karaoke or sing-along feature and/or a "Dance, Dance Revolution" type of activity to make it worthwhile and appealing. I predict my child will tire quickly of this game or choose other games (video or non-video) before falling back to this as an option of last-resort. Too bad, as it was expensive.

We had problems at first but figured it out after I wrote my original review, but now I can't change my rating.
My DDs (7 & 4) love this game. It seemed very easy to beat to me, but even after doing the entire world tour they still want to play it every day.
