I used to be a GIANT pokemon freak. Though im not anymore, I still play the games there very fun by all means. This new addition to the poke on games has an even wider appeal, because now you can trade wireless with the new GBA wireless adapter that you can only get by buying the new pokemon game.
This new game is a remake of the older red and blue additions. But with new and improved graphics, all the pokemon from the previous games and new added material and items never seen in the pokemon games to date. Overall this is a great game for anyone that likes pokemon or has a GBA it's great gaming in a little catriage.

A awesome game worth buying!!!

This game will be awesome!It is way different and better than the original red version because the new islands, the updated graphics(Which really adds a new kick,)the ability to catch all 386 pokemon(Wow!!)and the wireless adaptor which is totally awesome because you can chat.

I totally recommend buying this game for new and old pokemon fans and I can't wait to play it!!!

The game works. I odered the game for my son because they had the game with a pocket video guide. There web sight seems to be messed up or buggy. Amazon.com sent me the game but failed to send me the pocket guide. I tried their online customer service to correct the problem. But, their responce was "We don't understand", so I called there 1-800 number. There I found a very unsympathetic and very unhelpfull customer sevice represenative. My advice is to buy the game somewhere else. I wish that I had. To bet it all I could have purchased the same product that I received from Amazon.com for less and wouldn't have had to pay shipping cost either. I am very disappointed and will never buy or give favorable advice to buy from Amazon.com

id rather get Pokemon FireRed than a computer

I got 2 play FireRed at walmart (they only had FireRed to try) and it was asome with the graphics and the sounds. i love how they used the old and new versions to combine and make the altimate game. The only thing i didnt get to try out was the wireless adapter becuze it hadnt been sold yet and plus there was only one FireRed in the store. im going into 7th grade and i still love playing the pokemon gameboy games. U can nevr be to old to play pokemon.

the pokemon generation may have died a bit in the last few years but that doesnt mean we will give up what we love.!!! When i heard about these games i was exstatic about and i couldnt wait until it came out!!!With the new graphics and the music being mixed and matched with gold/silver music its gonna be awesome.!!!The wireless adaptor has so many rumors aroung it and nobody truley knows how far it will go!!! I've heard that it may go from 30 feet to 15 meters!!!!The also has a few more changes in store as well.... some pokemon locations have been moved around so that it makes it more interesting!!!! also the other new pokeballs will make and appearence in the game as well.....the second time u fight the elite four they're gonna be stronger as in from a range of lvl 50-70......also there is an addition to a new set of islands....these island the source to trading to r/s..but dont worry once u finish the side quests to allow the trading it will be from ne where in the pokemon centers...these islands also hold some legendaries aswell...after u beat blaine moltres will be availible immeadiately after....also with the help of nintendo ho-oh,lugia,and DEOXYS will be availible aswell!!!! these games are surely to be a hit....if ur new to pokemon or veteran i suggest you get these games!!!!!!

I haven't got this game yet,but I've seen it the graphics are awesome.The gameplay is the best,the sound is great.I have some tips for you.1.start off with a fire pokemon it makes it easier to beat grass types.2.never get too excited about the game you will lose.3.their is too many pokemon to catch

The original Pokemon Red and Blue games for nintendo have always been my favorites in the series, and now the game's creators have improved on even that. This game integrates all of the improvements made in Pokemon Gold/Silver and Ruby/Saphire (Such as the much improved "backpack" inventory management system) into the much-beloved classic Red/Blue game. In addition, this game makes it possible to collect many of the monsters that are unavailable in Ruby/Saphire. A must-have for any Pokemon fan.

This game was an almost exact copy of blue and red version. The biggest differance in the first part of the game is tha attacks, pokemon, and trainer's names. Until you get towards the end it can get verrrrrry tiring. Then Bill will show up and start giving you rides to the hidden islands where you can get every singl pokemon made! Its new wireless adapter makes multiplayer gaming easier and more fun. It will give you over 20 hours of fun gameplay that doesn't end until you cacth'em all.

I love pokemon in the day and when I heard about pokemon red was being remade I knew I had to try it but I ended up bored with it. The only new thing is the color and new trading system but was it really needed. The game is great but it was great before. If you never played pokemon red than buy this game but if you own red than stay with it.
