THIS GAME STICKS

Look I'm a great Tekken and many other fighting games player, and this game is by far the worst game I've ever played in the simple fact that it is too hard to play. Even on EASY you cannot beat anyone in Story mode unless you fight them maybe um like 10 times and blocking is impossible. The AI in this game fights so cheaply that you find yourself getting the ... kicked out of you when you are unable you block any of their moves and whenever you move to strike all the computer does is block and counter making EVERY fight boring because the computer doesn't want to lose ... and only wants to use low kicks that are hard to block and corners and wins every match doing the same move. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME! ...

Nevermind I bought this game and it [stinks]....BIG TIME..sorry..I was misled obviosusly by XBOX previews.. I think I will buy an XBOX instead. The combos are kinda cool..Story mode [stinks] it forces you to play as forge. Characters are made up of big ugly polygons. What a waste of money.

THE COMPUTERS WON ALL THE TIME BUT I FINALLY BEAT THE STORY MODE IT IS A HARD GAME, BUT IT IS ALOT OF FUN WHEN YOU PLAY ON THE TWO PLAYER MODE.

this game is very fun.it is a great game for all you combat game people. There is one thing the game is very hard.I got to the end and lost so i had to start back from the begining.the graphics are almost perfect but there were a few glitches. Another problem is it is not one of those games were there is a long continuis mission were you walk around and fight on your way somewerwe, it is a game were you are in arena and you fight one person after another. an advantage is there is no limit to how far you can run around.it has all your favorite charecters and some secret charecters.overall this is a great game with storymode arcade vs. practice and survival mode.

orginally, the idea of an x-man title had a strong appeal. however, this game's lack of fluid movement and disappointing game play quickly became a frustration. the animation is choppy at best. while the characters had potential, they just didn't come alive. also, the load time between stages is abismal. finally, the chacters weren't well balanced. i would definately think about renting this game, but avoid purchasing it.

i think this is the best game ever because of the classic x-men from the old comic books and tv showS. JUGGERNAUT RULES!!!

This game is really challenging, but great once you get used to the controls. The only major gripes I have are:

1) Mystique's voice over is HORRIBLE. It was so much better in Mutant Academy 2.
2) Look at Betsy. She's fit and has a cool stance move. Now look at Psylocke. OMG! She looks FAT and her enterance and winning move bites.
3) Dark Phoenix. Um... is there a point why she's here? It's just Phoenix with PMS.
4) Sentinel A is EXTREMELY challenging, but Sentinel B is... easy as pie. Hint: Use Wolverine if you can to fight Sent. B. It's much easier.
5) The ending of the Season Mode. (Where Magneto shakes Cyclops's hand. Yeah, right. As if he would just let them waltz out, unharmed.
But besides these flaws, this game is really great. And the price isn't expensive, like most of the PS2 games

X-Men is one of my favorite marvel series. this game has most of the original characters and some new looks. over all, this game has some pretty cool stuff!

This game is great! I bought it expecting a boring, easy game with terrible graphics, but what I got was a fun, hard game with great graphics! Ok, maybe a little bit too hard, but hey, it's pretty good.

I love X-Men and this game is to die for! Storm and Phoenix kick but! I only wish the had Iceman, Angel, an Pyro!
