Progressive Scan

This game can be played as a 4-way vs fighting game which is pretty unique as most are limited to 2 players. Another feature of this game is that it can output in 480p progressive scan (just hold down B when the cube appears on the screen during the system boot) even though it doesn't say it's progressive scan capable on the case.

Finally, a godzilla game that is actually good, no, it's great.
The monsters look just like they did in the movies, thogh there are only 11,
Godzilla 90's
Godzilla 2000
Anguirus
King Ghidorah
Mecha-King Ghidorah
Megalon
Gigan
Mecha-Godzilla
Rodan
Destoroyah
and Orga (the monster Godzilla fought in Godzilla 2000)
There could have been more monsters, There were more than 25 in the movies, but they were all done well.
And every sound from the movies, from roaring to foot stomps, to radioactive rays knocking down buildings and making the city scream in terror, ha ha ha ha haaaa, oh sorry. Anyway every sound is 100% authentic.
The only replay value is you must beat it with every one to unlock all over characters. After that it's only fun with 2-4 people.
Plus there's like 20 cities, most of them are real, the two that are'nt are monster island and the mothership. And, all of the cities have a day or night option, night is the best, it really shows off the graphics of the blasts.
This is a must buy for any godzilla, or super smash bros. fan.
(look at the ground during play, there are like a hundred little cars driving around, and they explode when you step on them and go soaring when you kick them).

It could of been better...

First of all, let's get this straight- godzilla DAMM is awesome,and it could of been a lot better. The graphics are great, the sound is great, the creatures are great. The game incredibly fun (you get to fight in real time cities, and even the military attacks you). But there are downsides to the game- the adventure mode just [inhales with force], and there just isn't enough fighting moves that could of been incorperated into the game. But the most disappointing part of the game was the number of choosable characters. I mean, pipeworks software chose only 11 monsters out of toho's whopping 3 dozen! otherwise, the game rocks.

OK FIRST THINGS FIRST. aLL OF YOU WHO HAD GIVIN GODZILLA A BAD REVIEW IM SURE YOU HAVE NO LIFE WHATSOEVER. aLSO THE SAVE FUNCTION DOESNT WORK CUZ YOU CANT SAVE BECAUSE YOU NEED TO EARN THE CHARACTERS AND STAGES SO FOR ALL YOU IDIOTS OUT THERE(LIKE THE ONES WHO GAVE GODZILLA A BAD REVIEW) YOU CANT USE CODES. Now on to a lighter subject. You can be a any monster out of 12(supposedly 14 if godzilla 80s exists) Megalon, Gigan, Godzilla 90's and Godzilla 2000, Mecha Godzilla, Orga, Rodan, King Ghidora,(my personal favorite is next) Mecha King Ghidora, Angurius, and Destroyah. Also for those of you out there who think space Godzilla exists sorry He Doesnt. Now thats only my opinion but IT IS RIGHT. Signed Rob

This game is one GOOD fighting game. Why? Because you as the player will have so much fun wacking your friends, and destroying the city as you play.

I LOVE GODZILLA

well i got it and it was worth the wait.

well i can now confirm that the following monsters are on this game godzilla 90's, godzilla 2000,
king gidorah, mecha king gidorah, mecha godzilla,
destroyah, orga, gigan, angirus, rodan, megalon,

and these two non playable monsters mothra, smog monster,

this game is pretty much like a wwe/wcw/wwf wrestling game.

it also can connect to godzilla:domination on the gba through the gba/gcn cable.

hint: it does not say this in the game manual it comes with but if you want to "RUN" hold "L" while moving.

all around i think this game is great how ever more cutscenes would have been welcomed.

In my opinion, the best fighting game ever. It's like being in the movie! Gameplay - excellent. Controls - excellent. Sound- BEYOND excellent - It's like the producers took the monsters into the recording studio to sample their roars. Watch out for the "Mothra air strike" power-up - my favorite. I would buy a 2nd controler for some two player battles, if only my wife would play! This game is THAT fun!

A "Must" have for any Godzilla fan!!!!!!

When I saw the trailer for this game I knew I had to have it. In fact, I bought the cube just so I could play this game! Every match is like a short Godzilla movie with awesome graphics, and authentic sounds.

I bet you can't say that in many other games. One of the best fighting games EVER! It's like a Rampage fighting game. It even has terrible dubbing!

I played this with my friend! It was sooooo fun! I like that you can pick up steel girders and boulders and even the other monster! I kept on picking up this boulder, and throwing it at my friend yelling, "PLAY TOY!!!" It hurt him and it was fun, destroying half the city!
