No Worries!

Maaate! This game is a lot of fun. You play as Ty, the coolest game character in a long while. Ty has his own moves such as a powerful bite and an unreal collection of boomerangs such as a Flamerang (fire), Frostyrang (icy) as well as Zoomerangs, Doomerangs and Kaboomerangs. There's a lot of exploring to do if you want toget all of the gems Ty needs to move through the game, but it's well worth it. Ty has a lot of mates who give him advice and ask him for help but Maurie is the best. He's always giving Ty a hard time. And if you get tired of Maurie's attitude, you can always throw a boomerang at him :)

I love platform games (Spyro, Mario64, DK64, Crash, Banjo, Jak & Daxter, Rayman, etc..) and this is an above average platform game. It is not too short and not too difficult. It falls more along the lines of Spyro & Rayman 2 but it looks alot like DK 64. Great for young teens & obsessive adults like me. I rented it & finished it in 4 days. A few problems, there is NO 'game guide' like Brady games, NO good online sources, NO good maps. Oh well, there is one helpful cheat code.

Ty the Tasmanian Tigers excels as an action-platformer....

I'll be the first to admit, Ty isn't very original nor does he offer anything new to the hordes of platform games out there yet what he does have that no one else out there has is attitude. I mean, how many games do you know that has outhouses for checkpoints? EA did a commendable job with Ty. Presentation and plot are top notch as well as gameplay and control. My only gripe has to be with the camera. Other than that, it's a fun game to play and I highly recommend to all platform game fiends. It's well worth a look.

Mmmm...It's OK

I really only play platformers so when this came out I was excited. They did a great job on graphics and the characters. However, this is Jak and Daxter goes to Australia. I liked the game but it really disappointed me that the gameplay and objectives were copied. If your bored and find nothing else, and you don't mind playing Jak and Daxter again, go ahead, it's not bad. But if you want something different, buy Ratchet and Clank. WOW!

Ty aint Sly..... or Jak... or Ratchet or a Man in Black II!

My sons love this game- rented it to see if they would like it first. Made the mistake this Christmas of buying one (Rayman Arena) and they think it is stupid! Oh well, at least I can sale it here...ha ha..

Beautiful graphics, intuitive gameplay

This game has beautiful graphics, interesting worlds, an intuitive, highly playable setup and is all around fun. Why can't all games be so comfortable to play. It is entertaining, funny and has few frightening parts so it is a good game for younger children. It is as much fun as the best Spyro games. It is also easy enough that people like me, who are not die-hard gamers, can beat it but it remains interesting and playable throughout. I hope there will be a sequel. I'd buy it at full price. Not a game for the die-hard, expert gamer who only appreciates shoot-em up games.

Bonza!!This is a really cool game. Its so fun playing it over and over. The Australian accents in the game are so hilarious! (no offense to australians!) You battle your way through the minions of Boss Cass as Ty. Ty is the tamanian tiger. Use your boomerangs to beat evil bad guys. There's over 12 different boomerangs. Get help from your australian animal friends as you go along the game. Collect Thunder Eggs to advance to the next levels. Collect talismans to bring back your family of tasmanian tigers. From the hot desert of the land down under to the refreshing ocean to the snowy mountains, fight through the levels and beat up the evil Boss Cass. You ripper!!
