THE Best Pet Game EVER!!!!

I'm 11 and have been a Petz fan since I was in kindergarten. I got Catz 3 and loved it!!! Much later on, I bought Catz 5. Ther newest computer we own,which we have had for a few years, came with Dogz 5. I loved it! I had not played with it in a year and recently re-discovered it. I have so many cool playscenes I made myself,and so many cool breeds and Petz I have downloaded online.

Cons:
-For some reason my game crashes A LOT! When it does this, I have to re-do whatever I just did(like turning off power without saving in a video game)
- Petz run away when you do not play the game! When I came back after not playing it for a year, almost ALL of my Petz and my sister's(who's almost 9 years old)ran away! You can get your Petz to return by opening your 'Runaway Petz' file and your 'Adopted Petz' file in two different screens and drag and drop runaways to adopted Petz. When you start your Petz 5 game, either A) Some of the Petz have come back B) Some are in your list but say 'Runaway'. Check to see if you can re-adopt them at the Adoption Center. If not, click on your Runaway Petz in your pet list and try the process again. It works for me!
- The Playscene Editor has some minor glitches in it.
-If you take out the present box and put the bottom half away without putting the bubble machine in it and lid on top, they'll be stuck in that scene permanently! I think you can fix this,but I don't know how.Same thing if you put the paint can away without the brush.

Pros:
-MUCH,MUCH,MUCH BETTER than Nintendogs or the DS Petz games!!!!!!
-Very addicting; you can never run out of things to do!
-You can make your own playscenes very easily.
-Your Petz can have litters of puppies or kittens, which you(and the mother,of course) raise them from newborn to adult, instead of just puppy/kitten to adult.
-Educational,but not too much like a real pet(no shedding,poop-scooping,etc.)
This is an all-around awesome game, anyone ages 5 and up(yes, that means teens and adults) can enjoy it! Buy it!

Great game but a problem

I got this game a long time ago and I love it. But the only problem is that after a week it stops working and my cats were just pregnant.
If you are a person that cries after there favorite games stopes working, then don't buy this.

Basically, you raise and care for virtual pet dogs or cats. Both of my daughters, ages 3.5 and 9, love this game. The 9 year old understands it better and is able to play it the way it is intended to be played, but the 3.5 year old still likes to get on the computer and play with the cute little dogs. It is a simplistic game, but the animals are cute. Nothing challenging here- you feed, exercise, and groom your virtual dogs/cats on a daily basis. If you don't regularly care for them, they run away. They can fall in love and have puppies/kittens. Again, nothing challenging, but both of my daughters enjoy this game a lot.

I was thinking a while ago about this game that I played when I was younger. I really liked it then, and wish that I had owned it. So I went online to see if they still made it, AND THEY DID!! I bought it immediently, and when I got it last month I haven't stopped playing it!! It is a good game, and its good for kids because it teaches them how to take care of pets. Anf not to mention, they are so damn cute!

Catz and Dogz are fun games,i've enjoyed playing Catz
I at one of my friends house and Catz III at my other one's house.So,once Catz 5 came out,I bought it and got
Dogz 5 on Christmas.I comment on both so that's why i'm here.

It has the some of the same clothes from different games Like III for thought and toys the same.Beautiful Areas and nice Hosts(Like Peg,the cat with a peg leg from South Island)I love to breed my Petz and make projects like Tabby and Alley cat breed and see what there Great Grand kits look like after Four Generations.

This is all I will give out of the game.Hope you play it ;)

This game is very good.Its graphics are much,much better than Puppy Luv's,and you can own lots of petz.A nice way to earn stuff is to play the game in Arabia.One thing that I have no clue what to do with is that my Puppiez aren't turning into adult Dogz!!I've had them both for almost an entire week,and the manual says they are adults in 3-4 days,but they haven't grown yet!!If someone knows what the matter is,then please make a review.

Hey, this is a great game. Just to tell the people who think this gaame is boring: Y'all must not be able to use a computer if you think there's nothing to do. Sure, this is a few-minutes-each-day game. But you can dress up your pets, you can breed them, (though I'm not sure about the crashing problem, I only had that with the fourth game installment) and you can use programs to make new breeds. For people who can't get any items, that's done with theminigames. And though you get bored after a half-hour to an hour, you go back to it the next day.

This game is really awesome! I bought it for my daughter.She thinks she'll be addicted to this game. The animals are really cute! The only thing she doesn't like is that you can only see two pets at one time. Yes you can have more pets, but you can only see two (of your choice) pets out of their kennels at once. Other than that it's really neat!!!! We recomend it to so many people who don't have a dog or cat, and those who do!

My daughter loves this. Bought it in place of Nintendogs as we do not have a DS system. The game is very good and she has had tons of fun adopting pets and caring for them. The game also installs a screen saver which is a blast to watch. Very happy with this game.

Pets five is a good game. My friends love to play it with me and think it's awesome but I think it gets boring sometimes. It's more for young kids.
