I Like the Tony Hawk series. When it came out, it's all I played. They're great game's but they're all spinoffs of the others. Good games though. I'm getting it. You have to get it, it has Phil in it. Ta!

This game is soo awesome, you create your own skater with tons of attributes that you can add on/change. Then you join team hawk in the coolest world destruction tour, you can go almost anywhere and do almost any thing, as well as blow things up(lighting them on fire) The game is awesome, definetly buy it!!!

Well, this game was great, my 2nd favorite in the THUG/THPS series. Of course, my favorite is THUG. They're some great improvements, such as new levels (including Australia and Berlin), new characters (including Ryan Sheckler, Shrek, and Phil Margera), and a brand new storyline. You, Eric Sparrow, and some other great pros are kidnapped and thrown in a van. The van unloads, and the story begins. Team Bam and Team Hawk are on an adventure called The World Destruction Tour. Six continents filled with tons of way you can, well, cause destruction! In every level, there's a guest skater and a secret skater. The guest skater, once you find them, are now yours to skate as whenever you want. The secret skater has a vehicle which you can ride in to cause even more destruction and maddness, but stays in the level you found them in. Overall, the Story Mode is short. It took me less than 24 hours to beat it on Easy. But there is also, new to THUG2, a classic mode. Play like THPS games, with a 2-minute time limit, and try to get a High Score, Pro Score, Sick Score, collect Skate, Combo, and more! Plus, you can unlock more than 5 new levels in Classic Mode that you can't unlock anywhere else, like Old Skool levels including THPS3 Airport, THPS School, and more! Oh yeah, and if you like Old Skool levels, you'll be pleased to hear the first level in Story Mode is an expanded version of the THPS Warehouse! Basically, buy this game even though the Story Mode is short, there's plenty more to do!
This game is a must buy...

The only problem that I had with this game is the fact that you can't choose which team your going to skate for but I guess since its a story mode they had to do it like this. The backflips and rolls are a definite plus and the extra skaters are either really cool or really funny. I didn't understand why Shrek is an extra skater though....whats the point of having him in the game? Other than this....if you liked all the other THPS's.....you'll love this one.
Its the best Tony Hawk game so far

Tony Hawks Underground 2 is the best Tony Hawk game so far. The only stupid part is in the New Orleans level where the dead come alive and you have to kill a zombie skeleton guy on a tricycle. The rest is really good and fun. Its different than Tony Hawks Underground one. Instead of talking to people and them telling you what to do you get told what to do right before you start the next level and you have unlmited time to do them. If you liked Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1,2,3,4 or Tony Hawks Underground you should buy Tony Hawks Undergound 2. It is a lot of fun.
Another great game that tony hawk and neversoft

This game is awesome graffti, slap stickers and all the insane stunts it makes it one of the best games in the tony Hawk video game series. It only lacks one thing in story mode, NOT A LOT OF LEVELS.But when it come down to viriety in this game, it has it. More skaters and secret ones which you will laugh about when you unlock them. When it comes down to humor it is the funniest game I have ever played. Plus this game lets you unleash your creatitivity with tagging(graffti). It let's you creat your own graphic so you can leave your marks all around the levels. So I rate this game a 9 out of 10
The biggest dissapointment of 04

Ok heres the news on THUG 2 and a comparison to THUG 1. This game was a severe dissapointment I can't believe how much better THUG 1 was. I have beaten all of the games in the tony hawk series but I just couldn't will myself into playing this for more than a half hour. The primary flaw in this game is the story mode (or lack there of). The story mode starts completely randomly and has very little meaning due to the lack of cut scenes and poor concept. It starts by you getting kidnapped sounds intriging right? Wrong! The next cut scene shows bam and tony standing over you and tell you that for no reason at all they want to go on a world destruction tour. Ok the concepts still got you hooked but not for long. So you head off to a get acquainted level and then to BOSTON. Thats still just fine with me I'm still slightly interested. Now this is where the boat sinks.m Youre skater has a list of goals that have absolutely no meaning at all. Go find this Guy in the level. What kind of mission id that and how does that relate to freakin skating. Other missions are very similar in the fact that they don't relate to skating. These missions are designed to be destructive and punk-like yet their just not entertaing. One of the new features is being able to switch characters on the run but they are often hard to unlock and their id a new set of goals with each character. Even if you liked the idea of switching characters it's impossible to switch and then switch back because you have to find a specific spot where your skaters are stationed and they are completely random. When you complete a level there bassicly is no significance to the following cut scene it just tells you about the next level. All the theatrical elements in the plot of THUG just dissapeer in THUG2 and I can't understand why. There is no reason to be doing what your doing theres no rival because you have to keep switching teams and the levels are horrible compared to THUG. The only reason to by this game would be for classic mode which follows the THPS format and is still fun. I've been playing Tony hawk games since the original in 98 and have loved them all. I absolutely adored THUGS concept and was able to complete that game in under 24 hours while loving every seconed of it.This is just not the way to follow up a game of the year Neversoft as a fan I'm upset with the lack of creativity. The comparison is pathetic but I'll give you my opinion of the score card anyway.

I have always been a huge fan of the Tony Hawk series of video games, ever since the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (THPS). I have seen many improvements to the original formula over the past five years, but the last couple of games in the series have been disappointing. For me, the high point of the series was THPS 4. It had a ton of challenging goals, awesome levels, and is the one game in the series that I will pull out if I just want to goof around.
THUG 2, on the other hand, is a shorter game (I beat story mode on normal difficulty in one weekend in between midterm study sessions), has relatively forgettable levels, and shamelessly promotes antisocial behavior. To add to the depth of the game, a classic career mode was added, with the two minute timer and classic goals such as collect S-K-A-T-E, pro scores, and hidden video tapes, all within the same levels as story mode. Nice idea, but I always hated that stupid two minute timer.
I still feel that I can give THUG 2 a pretty good rating because it still had the same addicting gameplay as other games in the series and they added a new "focus mode," which allows you to switch to bullet-time in special mode, giving you better control. It was also kind of a cool addition to give you a pro teammate and two special guest skaters for each level, each with their own unique goals. One of the special guests in each level had a different type of ride, like a go-kart or a motorized wheelchair. Nice idea, but I hated the control on some of these rides, especially Steve-O's mechanical bull.
Bottom line: This game is too short and not as fun as some of the other games in the series. There were only 6 new levels (I believe) with a few classic levels added in. Trying to play through on "sick" difficulty mode may add to the replay value, but you're still playing the same goals, just more frustrating.
