One word for Test Drive

I have one word to discribe this game and it is.....[bad]. This game is very unrealistic, there are to many things to name, and not enough room to type it all. The ingenious thing about this game is that you can play pong while the game is loading, but that's just about the best thing.

Slower than my old 386...

I like the game, it's definately not as good as GT3 or Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, but it's kind of addictive. The biggest problem I had was the loading time!! It takes about 3 minutes to load a level. They do give you a game of Pong to play while you wait, but that gets boring quickly. If you want to restart the level, you must wait another 2 or 3 minutes and then you have to wait after the race too!!! I think they could have made it a little faster, I know the PS2 can handle graphics decently fast. The graphics aren't really all that good, and the levels seem to repeat. Eventually you race the same track over and over at each area of the world. ...

Wow! This game is sweet. The cars in this game are incredible although there are not as many as GT3 it is still great. One of the best parts in this game is definatly the drag racing. It is really fun with the cars they have too choose from. While the story line is cheesy the game play isn't. This game is one of the top street racers. You should definatly pick this game up!!!

When I started playing the game I liked it. I messed with the cars and the car colors. I like the cool cars but I hate it when you are racing and other cars cut out in front of you and make you crash. Or when they create a pile-up of 3 or 4 cars.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Test Drive is a decent game, but put up against Gran Turismo 3 or Burnout it just doesnt get the job done. What really gets me is they advertise the game has such spectacular wrecks and they are so unrealistic and blah. When you reck into another car, even if you're going like 80, your car will just slam into the other car and bounce off, with not a scratch on it. No explosions or shattered glass, nothing. Its just kind of anti climactic. Anyway, not a bad game, just not as good over all as the previous games I mentioned.

i enjoyed the game for the fact that i am a muscle car enthusiast and there were plenty of american muscles to choose from...Pontiac GTO, Shelby Cobra, Chevy Chevelle... the list goes on the game play could be worked on, the cops get rather annoying and the timed racing through checkpoints is rather arcade-ish for me... a high point was the the straight half mile street drag races... quite fun... a game that should be in the collection of all car enthsiasts... also try Stuntman that game is awesome and action packed...

Me, being a huge Gran Turismo Fan, wanted to try something new. The Story is ok, not too bad. Graphics wise its a better than most. Some things I would like to point out though, the game doesnt focus much on realism in my opinion. So if you just want to have fun this is for you

This game is awsome! There are muscle cars and sports cars to choose from! The music could be better, but still. The races are very intense and the graphics rock! What I don't like about this game is the police. They are so IRRITATING!! When I get busted, I awlays spin out and face the wrond way. Overall, it's a great game!

This game reminds me of BURNOUT. Pretty good in single player, but ROCKS in multiplayer. It's like an opposite of BURNOUT. It has lot's more cars, but fewer maps. Definitely a game to have.
