whats the point of a title? im obviosly reviewing this game

it sure as hell DOESNT feel as ur really in the car. the cars accelerate too fast and turn too easily - might be a good thing for some but if u want a realistic racing game, get gt3. i personally like both realistic and unrealistic racing games. its a fun game and it looks quite nice.

This game is very fast and has very nice graphics. I am really enjoying playing it. It may not be as realistic as
GT3 but it is still alot of fun to play. KILLER ARCADE
STLYE RACER! I would recommend this game to anyone.

Gets boring after a while

The game is fun but the playing gets boring after a while. If you don't get the checkpoint you lose. Need for speed is much better.

this game has the best handling of cars in the world. the graphics isn't really that bad but the replay sux. this is an arcade game more than a realistic game. if u like realistic games then buy gran turismo 3. test drive is a very fun game. the bad thing about the game is that the race is timed, and the loading is a little long, but u get to play pong while it loads.

GTA's the ONLY car game the PS2 needs.

Bad music, awful handeling, ect. I played Test Drive at my friend's house, and he said it was "a million times better than Grand Theft Auto 3." Devin lied. Here's the comparisens:

Grand Theft Auto 3:
You can get out of the car and steal other ones.

Your stuck in one car the whole time.

Great arcade racing

This game is awsome.It is a racing game so of course you have to start out with the slower cars wich can be frustraiting.But if you keep playing and "winning" it will only get better.So if you like racing games I would buy it.But it's not for GT3 fans it's a arcade game not simulation if you like playing with suspension and all that don't waste your time.If your like me and want to skip the BS and start racing this ones for you.Two thumbs up for TestDrive

- After playing Test Drive 5 and 6, i didnt expect much from this game. However, the graphics have changed A LOT! Thank heavens for that, since part 5 and 6 had some of the worst graphics in gaming history. The realisme of the game wasent to impressive, and the "story" mode wasent such a huge knockout. The game is overall a good arcade game for thosse of you who find Gran Turismo frustating and hard. For us others who are looking for realisme, we'll just have to wait for Gran Turismo 4. The game is NOT bad tough, but it could have been a lot better. The selection of cars and tracks are very limited when you first start, and except the paintjob, it aint nothing else you can do with the car except racing it. The tracks are beatifull, and the graphics are very to live with. Much of the music is awesome, and some of it are VERY headaching. I would recomment to buy the game. Its fun, and with the two player mode its even more fun. The tracks can be very hard due to the lamo high traffic.

Up until I met my husband I hated video games and anyone that played them. After I met him I fell in love. Then he introduced me to the world of video games and I fell in love again but this time with the PS2 and so I became a gamer.

This was the third game he introduced me to (the first was Tony Hawk Pro skater 4 and the second was Grand Theft Auto Vice City) my only other prior experience was Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Pitfall and Pole Position. So for me this was the perfect game to start with. I didn't know anything about graphics so I thought the graphics in this were fine. Because I was new to all of this, I was able to play without getting too frustrated and/or giving up. I was able to catch up to the other traffic and slowly built up my skills ultimately blowing them all away.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who eats, sleeps, and breaths video games but I would recommend it to anyone starting out. I had a lot fun and minimal frustration. My husband and I have spent hours and hours and racing against each other not to mention breaking record times over and over again. I have also finished the story portion of the game more times them I can count.

I have moved on and graduated to other games, the Burnout series, Grand Tourismo, MX Unleashed, MX vs. ATV Unleashed, Midnight Club series. But every now and then we break out Test Drive and we have a great time all over again. I'll always love this game!

Not quite what I expected

An absolute atrosity. Not as many cars as Gran Turismo, the game play has an "arcady" feel which makes it completely unrealistic, and the graphics aren't as nice as I would have hoped.

I bought this game today, and I was a little bit disappointed. I am a big fan of BURNOUT! and this game is not nearly as fast or fun as that one is. When you wreck (and you will) you just bounce all around and land facing the wrong way! It can be tough to make some of the sharp turns, too.....
This game is more similar to Ridge Racer V, but be prepared to hit A LOT OF STUFF, and to flip around like crazy!!!!!
There is a story mode, too, which I thought was really stupid and cheesy. I am hoping that the two player mode will be a lot of fun and will make my purchase more worthwhile......
Hopefully other people will enjoy this one more than I did.......
