I find this game to be very enjoyable...many ages can play and have fun...of course I get a little ticked when my 10 year old granddaughter has a higher score than mine--but whatelse is new??? I would recommend and would purchase again.

This game is pretty fun and somewhat addictive at first. The only thing is that it doesn't really take much thought or skill. Even on the puzzle solving option, I don't really see what the point is. I think this game is more for mindless time-consuming activity. If that's what you're looking for then this game is wonderful. It has pretty colors, nice music great other-wordly backgrounds.
long wait between one board and another.....

While this game is quite fun, the "intermission" or whatever you want to call it while you go from one level board to another is quite long. I even disabled the high resolution graphics to make it go faster, but it is time consuming and boring to watch these graphics over and over....buy it and you'll see.
Very Fun...

This game is very fun, but after a while the game gets very boring and strains the eyes. However, I found myself playing the game for hours and the game is also addicting. The "endless" game is very fun and really does never end. The "puzzle" game is extremely fun and I love it! After defeating the puzzle game, there is a hidden game which is extremely fun as well. Also included are the classic and the timed games. I am very happy you don't need the CD after installing the game, a plus. The only thing I didn't like about the game is after an hour, you get bored with the game and after defeating the puzzle section, it loses its appeal to play it again. But overall, this game is very entertaining, especially when bored.

This game is indeed as much fun as most reviewers indicate -- when it works. For us, the game started to crash the computer after about ten minutes, then would not work again unless we reinstalled it.
We contacted PopCap games (a small nightmare; there's no provision for customer service on their webpage, and I had to search for a direct line to their offices), and they advised us that it was probably a bad CD-ROM. They sent us a new one, and now the game only crashes every ten minutes; we don't have to reinstall it.
I'd highly recommend this to folks who only have ten minutes to spare to play; otherwise, it's too frustrating to put up with.

This game is very fun except for one thing. In puzzle mode, I can get past all of the puzzles except for one. This puzzle has two types of gems that covers the whole board. I can't get past the puzzle and there is also are no hints for this puzzle. I am very frusrated because on the galaxy map (I'm not sure if you warp to new galaxies) but I'm stuck on Galaxy One because I can't get past the one puzzle I am writing about.

*THIS IS FOR THE MAC VERSION*
I got hooked on this game playing it on the PC, and when I found the Mac version at a discount I snapped it up. It takes great advantage of my iBook's video capability. The only issue is the music track-notes stick and last longer than they're supposed to, the track skips, slows down, or speeds forward at random intervals. It does not seem to affect gameplay, however, so my solution was simply to turn the music all the way down in the Options menu. But the music of this game is one of the key draws, so having to turn it down is a disappointment. Otherwise, everything plays well, and Bejeweled 2 and its predecessor Bejeweled are both addictive games.

Bejeweled 2: DeluxeI want to tell you that this game is fun to play but the CD is terrible. Every day that you want to play the game it shuts down your computer and you have to re-boot. You then have to uninstall and reinstall the game to get it running. I put up with that for a week and then tossed it in the trash. So if you have $14.99 + tax to throw away buy this game. Fair warning...good luck.

Gave Bejewled 2 as a gift; now I have some one else in my family that's just as addicted to this game as myself. Since we are all retired, his wife spent FIVE hours on it...and it was HIS gift! Great game for young or old...works all the senses...and it keeps us Gray Panthers young. Be careful though...if you have anything to do, or have chores, having this game will NOT get them done!
