I got lucky and won a copy of Bejeweled 2 and it has many more ways to play it compared to the first version. The colors are great and help make the game lots of fun. They have even given the game some new twists for reaching certain scores. In my case I unlocked a new way to play the original version of the game when I reached 200,000 points. It is called Twilight and gives the illusion of no gravity for the jewels. They are added to the playing area from either the top or the bottom. It can and will help kill plenty of time.
Great Game!

I was anxious to upgrade to the new Bejeweled 2. I first downloaded the free trial and the 60 free minutes went way too fast. After purchasing the unlock key online I have logged over 100 hours playing since November, it's that addictive! The four different versions of the game (classic, puzzle, action and endless) all have bonus versions that unlock when you reach specific levels. For Classic, it's level 20 and for Action it's level 9. The Endless level criteria is somewhere over level 200 but I haven't reached that one yet. This is a great game, if you liked Bejeweled you will love Bejeweled 2!
Wonderful basis, and the new one is way better!

This is really a exciting game, needless to say, it's better than the original game. It's not an all-new game, but it's so excellent!
In the game, the jewels became more beautiful, it looks crystal and cool! The background pictures are pretty too, I love pictures of outer space and beautiful planets. The music and sound of this new game are very glorious. When I first played this game, the wonderful music attracted me much, I didn't know why it made me so excited, I couldn't help crying out because of excitement and the wonderful feeling the images brought. I introduced this game to my cousin and all my families, and they love it now. We play this game together every weekend just like a routine, and we always have a good time!
This game is based on the original, but way better than the original, it's worth playing with! And I believe that Pop Cap will make more wonderful games for us in the future!
Great fun and highly addictive -- beware!

I downloaded Bejeweled 2 Deluxe from the web site and dove in. I couldn't pull myself away from the screen for hours. The graphics are gorgeous, and the game is great fun to play. You can size the board to fill your whole screen or just a part of it. When you put the game in full-screen mode you can also put the graphics in high-rez, but I've found the graphics look fine on the smaller screen. You can turn the music up, down or off; ditto the sound effects. I find the music kind of distracting, but the sound effects are fun, especially the BOOM when you explode a power gem.
There are 4 different games you can play -- the classic game, the timed action game where you beat the clock, the puzzle game where you clear all the jewels and the neverending game that goes on and on and on. My best score on the classic game so far is 150,041 points, but the first time I played the timed action game I scored 506,800. Hoo-boy, I'm a Superior Gemologist! (What are all the levels anyway, does anybody know?)
Bejeweled 2 Deluxe is a fun way to spend an hour or so, but beware -- it's extremely addictive. Playing it in the office is not advisable. It's blocked on my office computer anyway, and it's probably just as well. If I could play it in the office, I probably wouldn't have a job any more.

The game I ordered was received in quick time. It was a gift for my friend in Australia. It was not available in Werribee, Australia. He is over 60yrs. old and is having fun playing it every day to pass the time away and keep his mind alert.
Great time killer

Easy to play but never boring. Totally addictive.
As much fun as slots, but doesn't cost anything to play.
Simply addictive!

The first time I knew this game was in its Palm version. When I saw it was available for PC I purchased it and I now spend lots of time playing it. The colors are great, the sound effects are really cool and the more I play the more I can't stop. It's really addictive and it has more features than the original version, since it can give you hints, it shines and sounds to warn you when time is running over and the changes from one level to the next one are impressive. You can select if you want it to fill the entire screen or if you want to play it in a smaller area of the screen. (When it covers the full screen the gems are really big, so you must be rather distant from your monitor to view the possible moves you can make). If you liked the original game, this one will overwhelm you.
Finally a game for older folks!

Full screen play area; don't need to put the disc in to play; deep, rich colors; simple pretext but stratagy necessary; highly addictive! I can play at a comfortable speed and there are no jerky screen motions. This game has caused me to become a "Gamin' Granny".
Great Fun

I downloaded this game a few weeks ago. After using up the trial time it suddenly hit me... I should buy this game. So i did. And let me tell you... It feels phonominal. This game is so great. Simple, but great. There are 4 ways to play this game. They all have a cretain twist to them. I prefer classic mode cause i am a classy guy. HAHAHAH. anyway. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who likes switching jewls around, or who likes good animation and killer sound effects.
