Well 8 million players world wide this is the greatest MMORPG. Amazing Graphics, great game play, fun, changeling. I think Blizzard offers a free 10 trial, so what are you waiting for. Give this game a try.
Very addictive!

That title can be a good thing, or a bad thing. There is so much to do in this game, that you don't see an end in site. Between running quests and building your character as you go, I just think it's awesome that gaming as evolved to this. Not to mention it's online, and you can run around doing quests with people in other parts of the country. I've been a gamer since I was begging for quarters at the restaurants from my parents...this game puts me at a whole new level of excitement. One bit of advice...moderation. You can find yourself wanting to play ALL the time (or at least I do!).
This game is really fun!

People may be drawn into this game just because it has armor and weapons and elves ect. But when you actually look at this it is a great game. Parents say that it is a bad game with violence. So? Lots of games are violent! Almost every game is violent! Does that mean parents don't let you play those other games? No! So parents actually read some reivews instead of just the rating.
amazing purchase

This is a role playing game -- not terribly different from what you've already seen in other role playing games, but the graphics and video are excellent. The software runs smoothly with no annoying problems that you used to encounter in Warcraft.
The amount of play time you get out of this game is well worth the cost. When you purchase the software you get a certain amount of on-line playing time free. At that point, you can sign up for monthly service (rather expensive) or buy a pre-paid time card (my recommendation).

This game is jam packed with alot of content for you to immers your self into the game. Pvp element is great along with the RP depending on what server your on.
The Charachter Creation kinda sucks because you cant really be unique in your character designs but yet again dont really mattter since Armor will cover your char up.
Leveling in the game is quite fun its all covered with Quests which makes leveling Fun and also you get rewards for completing quest objectives. Alot of travelling has to be done in the game through some quite beutiful scenery so its not bad if you have a nice G card.
How ever the end game content requires you to team up with 30 or more people to do raids. This is the only way you can advance in the end game which is a real big hassle because finding 40 means chances of you getting it will be low and you will have to wait ages.Crafting professions are nice also with substantial amount of content how ever to retreive the resources or to level up it is mainly combat based because you will most likely have to kill to get to your crafting resources.
How ever in playability this game is really good since it has alot of customers already subscribed. But this MMO will get boring dont get me wrong but with the amount of content and PVP and RP it has im sure you will stay even after 6 months.
Try the game it has 30 days free, i recommend it its been over a year and i am still on it but quit recently due to Real life issues.

If u choose EQ2 over this game I suppose u see a hospital CAUSE THIS GAME ROCKS. Ive never been much of a fan over mmorpg but this just blows them all away. If u compare this with EQ2 it doesnt even come close to what WoW is made of. So people make the right choice!

Ive been playing warcraft games for a while and this one is the best. There are only a few problems with this game. One i dont like this pvp server or normal server. It confuses me. I would like it better if you can just attack player from the opposite faction any time you want and you wont have to turn on a little flag thing. Another problem is you have to pay a monthly fee but it is worth it. I also dont like how it requires a lot of RAM and CPU speed. If you dont have enouth of that it will lag a lot and be very slow.
Overall this is a great game and i recommend this especially if you have played warcraft 3 reign of chaos and frozen throne.

I'd like to take a moment to mention some things that Blizzard has done to improve on previous MMORPG. Things that people have wished thier with other MMORPG would do to make it "more fun" to play.
The first and best thing, I think, is that WoW has an Add-on feature. It is actually incouraged to make and use add-ons. These involve using data to inhance play. Not hacks which change that data. Examples of add-ons that I use are a clock(which every game should have), a map add-on that adds a mark everytime I find a metal(for mining) or herb(for herbalism) for later reference, and a new one that let's you set a path for your character to follow automaticlly forward or in reverse. Great for if you need to travel a lot between two towns that there is no flight path for.
Another great feature is the ability to set up looting options for a party. The options are set by the party leader to do a random roll automaticly if an uncommon, rare, or epic item appears. The leader can also set the looting habits to free-for-all w/no rolls, round robin w/no rolls, group loot(which is like round robin) w/rolls ,or master looter which gives a party member the ability to choose who gets what items.
I also want to mention questing. I've seen talk of how it's the same "type" of quest over and over. This is true and yet not that bad. People use to refer to leveling as grinding. Having to sit there and fight in one spot to just get exp for the next level. It was boring and a pain. With the quest system in WoW you may need 10 items from 2 different creatures. Most are counting everytime they loot one of the items they needed(which don't drop all the time of course). What most don't see is that you have killed an average of 30 creatures to get the 10 items you need for the quest. Then you have another quest to collect plants in which you have to kill creatures to get close enough to the plant. What makes WoW's quest system nice is that since people are counting the items they need to loot and not counting the creatures it takes to get there, they don't realize that they are still grinding. The use of "grinding" is not used with WoW but instead is called "questing" by players. And they have enough types of quests that it realy isn't THAT noticable unless you are looking for it. Plus, the stories are what keep the quests interesting.
Some other features that Blizzard has improved on are the fact that weight is not a factor in WoW, a small "area" map that puts arrows up to show any nearby towns and the direction of your party members, merchants show a small stat window of what you are looking at AND of what you already have equiped, and others that I remember being happy to see but am so used to them now that I just enjoy the game for what it is....a game.
GREAT GAME!

it is a great game, there is over 3000 quest, so you will never run out of things to do. If questes gets too boring, you could always join a guilt and fight. There is just too much to do.
