I'd have to say this is one of the best games I hav played in long time.
Graphics: The graphics get a 4.7 I mean they aren't perfect but they still beat most games today in visual effects, such as highly reflective glass floors.
Sound: This gets a 4.3 because mostly all you here is blaster rifles and lighsaber blazes but the soundtrack is pretty nice, but hey its an action game what do you expect?
Gameplay: This gets 5.0 this game is so fun to play. When you first start playing it isn't very fun because you can't use the force or the light saber. Although as you progress it becomes more interesting because you gain force powers like...Push, Pull, Jump, Speed, Choke, Lightning, Heal, Saber throw, and Jedi Mind Trick.
Replay Value: I believe that this game would have a moderate replay value because it's so long.
Overall: In my opinion I think that anyone who has an Open GL compatible graphics card should buy this game.
An Awesome Game

This awesome game, that i bout only a couple of days ago, shows you what it is like to be a jedi. Sure enough there are cheats that will help u get force powers, a lightsaber, and god mode, but even not using them, the game still has challenging levels. The fight with Desann, in the begginning, is kind of cheezy , but over-all the game has a great plot. The only thing that slows you down is that u hav to take care of Jan Ors, and if she dies, you hav 2 start all ova again. Although i have only gotten past the first 5 or 6 levels, this is one game that i will be sure to finish and enjoy.
Multiplayer is THE BEST!!

hey, this game is great, but what I love is the multiplayer! If you have this game, go to Zone.msn.com and go to Jedi Outcast and play it there. If you dont have this game, BUY IT!!!! I love it!...

Let me start off by telling you people why I gave this game four stars instead of five. There are a few which are not really bad things about the game, but more about how it runs. First, this game is very, well, overpriced considering it came out last year (even though it just recently came to the mac). Another problem within the game itself is if you do not have hefty system requitrments, then this will run a bit slow. I have a iMac G3 with 256 MB of ram and a 500MH. The computer is about one and a half years old. The only real time that the game will start to stall is when there are seven of eight men shooting at you, so I guess it could be a lot worse. One other thing that really bugs me is there is no compass, which means if you forget to hit a swich, then you will have to go hunt it down. Those are my only complaints with the game. I mostly like everything else, but let me tell you the best parts of the game. The controlls are very nice. The classic mouse and arrow keys set up. If you have a scroll weel on your mouse, that makes it even nicer when you swich you weapons, which leads me to another great thing about the game. The weapon selection is just great. You have everything from your plain old blaster to the lightsaber. I am also very fond of the force moves that you are able to do. I have not gotten that far, but I know the story and it is great. The visualls could be better, but that is not what makes games great. I recomend playing somewere else before you spend the 50 dollers on it. Overall, very solid.
One of my Favorites

Ok to put i love this game and I would recommend it to any star wars fan. The game play is amazing and the force powers are GREAT! I like to walk up to a defensless bug faced alien (not really defensless) and I use force grip and hold him over a ledge so if i drop him he will fall and die (like the movie. I think). The Saber battles are great because you can push them back and cut them up. I save A LOT!! and when i come to a sith i just battle him use speed, throw and i cut off his head or other body part. Then after i do this I load up and i do it again and again and again, which it basically made me very great at lightsaber duels, and I kicked the crap out of the last boss. Well i hope you try this game and have as much fun as i did. Good luck! Yes i am the same fanatic CHECK MY REVIEW ON knights of the old republic IT MAKES NO SENSE!!
Cool Graphics but a little confusing.

For graphics, this game would get a 5 out of 5 stars, but it some areas, I almost HAD to use cheat codes to get by. I couldn't figure out what to do next. The story line is alright, but it's a little short. I would only recommend this game to you if you have considerable first-person shooter experience.

While I have no idea how good this game is, although it does look extremely good based on the trailers and game book, I have to warn you to make sure your computer is good enough for the game. My computer has a horrible integrated 4 mg video card which is not supported by OpenGL. You need at least a 16 mg 3d card that works with OpenGL. Check the list of compatible cards before purchasing this game. I will be buying a GeForce2 card although it has minor problems when working too hard.
Great game!!!

Everyone else is raving about gameplay, which, following in the tradition of Elite Force and Quake 3 is stupendiously awesome, so I'll concentrate on another topic: internet play.
After you've beat the single player part of the game, many feel it is over. You saved the galaxy, your girlfriend, and on top of all that, got to fight a "souped up barney the dino carrying a lightsaber (that would be Dessan)" while you were at it.
Well, they are WRONG!!
The multiplayer feature is very neat, but unless you have a bunch of fellow Star Wars addicts in your house, each with their own computer, you are not going to be getting anywhere fast in the way of person vs. person gaming.
This is where the internet gaming comes in. I must say, that the developers did an awesome job! Gameplay is close to authentic, and interaction is very good. I enjoy playing CTF or Team FFA the best, but I've been known to do FFA or DUEL as well ;)
Did I mention Force powers? Ohh, the dark side is very tempting, being able to strangle someone with the press of a button is too good to be true... :D :D
There is a dedicated server for either Windows or Linux avalible at several download sites that is very nice. I am currently using it to host my own server, and learning along the way. The admin functions are prety extencive, but could use some work. Using an admin mod solves this, though.
Emotes are also a kick in the seat. You can bind keys so you can laugh at people, address the puplic with pre-programmed taunts, and generaly antagonise the other players with body language! I have so many keys bound at the moment, that it is hard to find room for an extra function key, ot taunt!
I would definately recomend this even if you are a once-in-a-great-while gamer, you will get addicted all too quickly, trust me ..
Fun game

I'm not going to write much but I was impressed at the fact that the Quake 3 engine was used for this game. I was impressed that the lightsaber cuts into walls and even detaches limbs, I was impressed with the force powers and their progression, but I am frustrated (someone mentioned this before) as the fact that some things you must find or activate are annoying to find or activate. The missions are harder than fighting 4 Sith Lords at once!
But, good game overall and what's better is the multiplayer function.
Lates peoples!
