Well don't buy this one expecting something like Vice City, because it aint going to be that. Yes, this is a slower paced game that you have to use patience and stealth with.

If you can accept the above facts, and love your video games to be ultra violent, then by all means get this game. Excellent graphics and city environments, shocking visuals, vulgar content, this has it all.

The execution sequences have to be some of the most brutal I have ever seen on a video game and I have been on of those gen-x types who grew up with the atari 2600 and so on.

I have to give my doos to RS. When I first heard about MANHUNT I was excited as hell. So I rented the game and was shocked on how graphic and explicit the game was. THAN i just fell in love with the story of the Game!! So I went and Bought the game with my brother and I was up all night playing it. What made me want to keep playing was what was gonna happen at the end. I LOVED IT!!! Esspecially When you get guns....Finally!..so im just gonna rap this review up since half the reviews tell you what its about But im just gonna tell you this game is great. SO get it now!...OH and when the back of the rating says Intence Violence....LISTEN TO IT!!!..THE GAME IS extreamly violent and graphicly detailed on how every death sequences are. Beware parents not to let your little ones play this. Beware.

I have got to say first and foremost, that this game is a remarkable addittion to the Survival Horror genre of video games. I hope you have a stomach for gore, because this game comes chock full of the stuff. The visuals are done rather nicely as the PS2's "trail" visualization (Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid) adds to the suspense and tension of the game. The AI is very nice too, this being a stealth oriented game (where you must hide in the shadows to conceal yourself and perform "execution kills") they don't make the enemies too stupid or make their depth of sight too small, you can be seen from down the block in this game. The deserted urban setting is also a big plus, reminding me of "The Running Man". The storyline is nice as well, keeping the horror theme to more of a realistic scenario, instead of fighting the undead or a demonic presense, you're fighting real gangs and real people for your own survival. I've heard this game is banned in New Zealand for the amount of gore and the pretense of the game. This is a kill or be killed game, you've gotta have a strong stomach to be able to last long enough in this game to find out what's really going on. Happy hunting :)

This is one of the best releases of the year. It is also one of the most challenging. If you have no patience, don't get this game, because there are a lot of times in the game where you just sit there for a couple minutes waiting for a group of gang members to get away from you. But it is well worth it when you actually get the chance to stealth kill them. There are a lot of weapons. The sound and graphics are great. Good plot. VERY challenging (expect to play the same level at least 5 times before you beat it). What else can you ask for.

Alot of people say this game is hard, I've played it for two days and almost beat it. The reviews said it was violent, and when I got it I thought it was really violent and found out it wasn't that bad. You'll have to try numerous times on certain things, but you can do, you also have to use your head and ellude and hide to kill people (easiest from behind--two baseball swings to the head).

This game is great, got lots of violance,disturbing sounds & graphics.
All those MORONS who said this game sucks don't even own the game, they rented it and after playing it for day or 2 they say it sucks. It's true you gotta hide all the time to survive, the game is called "ManHunt" meaning psycho killers on the loss very well armed are after you and on many occasions you don't have a weapon unless you take one away from your enemy. That's why you gotta hide, if you got 10 guys coming after you at the same time there's no way you can just fight them and survive. That just bein realistic. GTA is totaly different game and shouldnt be compared to ManHunt, in GTA you got all the weapons so of course you could come up to anyone and blow them away. This game is all about surviving in the most dangerious enviroment, and there's only one way out, going threw the enemy's turf.

Give this game a whirl!!

I bought this game a few weeks ago and wasn't sure what i was getting myself in to. I played it and was amazed! I'm sure you have heard the same thing from everyone but THIS GAME IS NOT FOR KIDS!!! This is definintly one of the most violent games i have ever played but it is worth it (just don't let anyone under 15 play it.) This is may advice to you just give this game a whirl and see what it has to offer.

i am now playing this game and it is sweet. the only thing i dont like is camera angles, when you are creeping against a wall, you cant see at all where you are going. It took a few days for me to really get into this game, but now i really like it. i just beat the suffering, now im on manhunt.

When I saw this game, I thought it looked plain ridiculous, but when one of my best friends recommended it, I decided I would try it out. How wrong I was! This game is simply addictive! Once you pick up the controller, the amazing game will not let you put it down! Armed with tons of weapons, including melee weapons like the crowbar and guns like the nail gun, a solid and understandable storyline, and unbelievable realism, you practically control the game! This is absolutely one of the most awesome (not to mention most graphic) games in the world. If you're asking me whether to buy it or not, consider scanning my list below.

violent fun

what can i say about this game. it is incredible. the atmosphere is very scary. the finishing moves are really well done. you get tons of weapons to choose from. the crowbar is one of my favs. the character designs are immensely grotesque though. you see guys walking around with the Fword tatooed across their chests. but that adds to the game itself. this game is made to scare you to death. when i first played this guy jumped out at me and i nearly screamed. the sound design is great. my only negative point is that the game got repetative after level after level of almost the same thing. killing. but overlooking that and getting into the psyc. of cash(your character) then your in for a very good rollercoaster ride through one of the most frightening games i ever played. the graphics are good considered it was made from the gta3 engine.
