I bought this on whim as a last minute Xmas gift for my family and we have had so much fun with it. It is the only video game in which I consistently beat my husband!

This game is very fun because you are able to change and/or create your own characters in many different ways, there's different games you can play than just plain karaoke, and it has ways of encouraging you to do better. Each location you can choose from has fun things that happen when you sing more in tune, like if you sing on the rooftop of a building, and you're doing AWESOME, a helicopter comes by and starts filming you on live cam! It's a lot like American Idol in how you're glamourized. The only thing I don't like about it is that the song choice is limited. There's ways you can "earn" new songs by doing well, but I wish there was a way you could add more songs to the songlist that we personally could choose.

Loads of fun, whether playing alone or with a group!

What a great game for parties and get-togethers! It's always sure to provide a few good laughs. The songs on this game are popular hits that most everyone knows. It offers a way to sing karaoke, but also makes it a bit of a challenge, knowing that you can get boo-ed off the stage or trying to beat each other's scores. One of the best features of this game is the two-mics mode, where you can sing duets. This game also offers sing and dance mode, where you can combine karaoke with the dance revolution game - this is really quite hard though! We have played this in teams, where one person sings and the other dances! Regardless how you use this game, it's sure to provide plenty of fun and LOTS OF LAUGHS for you and your friends!

I bought this game for an adult birthday party. It was a hit.
The game is very entertaining and it is easy to navigate through the game. You have full control of the settings such as music level, vocals, crowd noise, etc. You can also change the mode to the traditional Karaoke in which only the words are displayed on the screen. It's definitely for all ages even my two year old can't get enough of it. The selection of music is good. Be sure to have a memory card so you can save any characters you create and keep track of your performance for unlock hidden treasures such as extra songs and wardrobes.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE LOVES TO SING, I DIDN'T HAVE ANY IDEA THAT IT WOULD BE SO FUN THAT THE WHOLE FAMILY WOULD JOIN IN AND PLAY FOR HOURS! IT WAS SO FUN THAT WE IMMEDIATELY HAD TO BUY THE KAREOKE CMT COUNTRY GAME ALSO.

If you love this game... you HAVE to get an eye toy! It allows you to take a photo of your own face and intigrates it into the game for your character. I'm not talking about a flat screen still shot...it makes a model of your face for your character. This has got to be the coolest thing I ever saw!!!!!! You also have an option to sing on the eye toy stage and can watch yourself on the screen while you are singing but we haven't tried that yet... because it's super fun to use the eye toy cameos!

This game is really fun, especially if you like to ham it up while singing songs you've heard on the radio a thousand times. If you are familiar with the Karaoke Revolution games, this particular edition has a much better selection of songs to sing than the American Idol version, although, you don't get to be slammed by a virtual Simon....hmmm is this a plus or minus? All in all, this game is good times for all who can carry a tune, and even for those who really can't.

We purchased this game for a New Years Eve party and what a hit it was!
We had people aged 30 to 60 and everyone had a song or two that they were comfortable with. As the crowd "loosened up", the evening only got better and better.
