This game is awesome. It really feals like you are taking peoples lives do to the awesome death effects.I reccomend it to anyone.

Let's get straight to it, you're lookin to buy this game, or comparing it with another action/adventure/shooter game for purchase! If thats the case you simply can't go wrong, the graphics are awesome, lots of missions(different locations too), gameplay is sick, controls are easy to get used to, hot stash of weapons, and plenty more. Hitman 2 delivers as advertised pound for pound, its practically hater-proof, not to mention this is one of the top 3 ps2 games ever made. I'll close with this, I own Splinter Cell, 007 Nightfire, Hitman 2, Medal of Honor Frontline, and GTA Vice City. I'd take Hitman 2 in a heartbeat any day of the week.

I got this game as a gift I gave it back to my friend I did not like this game at all. please rent before you buy.

The best first person shooter since N64's Bond

I got this game for christmas this past year and absolutly love it. It is by far the greatest first person game to come around since N64's 007 Goldeneye, which you won't find one horrible review for. What makes this game so much fun is the fact that is isn't just a simple game where you can run around and shoot people and call yourself a hitman. This is more that just a game, it is a simulation. Some people, the more weak of heart, will find this game irritation due to problems that make the game difficult for them. Take it from me, a seasoned gamer, that this makes the game all the better. You really can't just run a mission Grand Theft Auto style with guns blazing and all, because you will die very fast. One of the greatest parts of this game is that you have to, and I stress that, have to have some sort of a plan. Before a mission you are provided with a map of the area, labeled with important spots and you target and what have you, you must utilize this map and come up with a game plan. Just as if you were to be really doing this, you couldn't just walk down the street patrolled by the military in St. Petersberg, Russia. So i say again, that this game will be remembered as an all time classic, and i highly recomend it to any gamer who is looking to use the stradegy part of his brain.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. The graphics are amazing and the ways to beat the game are many. It makes one have to use their mind and actually think about how to accomplish a mission. It is an amazing game and one cannot go wrong by purchasing it.

THIS IS A GREAT GAME. YOU PLAY AS A FORMER HITMAN WHO IS RETIRED AND WANTS TO FORGET HIS PAST.
THE CONTROLS ARE GREAT, THE GRAPHIS ARE AWSOME, AND YOU CAN DRAGT AROUND DEAD BODYS WICH LOOKS GREAT. BUT THE DOWN SIDE TO THIS GAME IS IF YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED VICE CITY. STATE OF ERMGENCY OR DEAD TO RIGHTS THEN THIS GAME GETS BORING TOO FAST.

Hitman 2:Silent Assassin is a very good game, but can sometimes get frustrating. In Hitman 2, you have to save a priest from the mafia, you must kill a bunch of other people before you kill them. There are multiple ways to make the kill, which is very fun. There are many guns you can use too, but the only bad thing is the control, but once you finish the fist two long missions you get use to it. This game is also very hard, it will take you a long time to just finish the first mission, but anyways I strongly recommend this game!

I would have to think that this is one of the best action games I have played in a while. Not only is this game realistic but theres no specific way to beat an mission you can complete them any way you want to. It also has an pretty nice story line to go along with the game. If you like action games that involve strategy then you should try this one out.

Whoever thought up the idea for a game where you can either use stealth and precision or charge in and kill anyone and everyone, you are God!This game combines great graphics with an outstanding storyline.The weapon selection is awesome too. Eidos also hit the mark dead center with the incredible interactive environments and levels. 47 really plays the part well too.I beg you please make a sequel. Gamers rock on!!!!

Different From Your Everyday Shooter Game.

I am about halfway through this game and am having a lot of fun with it. Most shooter games give points based on how much damage you do. Hitman 2 is a welcome exception.

In Hitman 2, you assume the role of Agent 47, a world renown assasin. I never played the original Hitman, so I don't know much about Agent 47's past history. The fact I am new to the Hitman series does not detract from my enjoyment of this game.

You are given assignments all over the globe. Like a real hitman, Agent 47 has to try get in and out of an assignment undectected. Rarely can you complete an assignment by merely shooting everyone in sight. As Agent 47, you must wear disguises and bypass often elaborate security systems.

I also liked the fact that there are any number of ways to complete a mission. You can: use your sniper rifle from a distance, use a handgun at a closer range, or use hand weapons up close. Again, unlike other games, the less attention your draw to yourself, the better your rating.

If you are looking for something that requires some strategy and finesse, buy this game. If you are looking for mindless mayhem, buy something else. Now, excuse me while I try to think of a way to get by the guards in this Malaysian office building.
